    Fuzzy - based method of detecting the enviroment character for UAV optical stabilization

    An optical stabilization of UAV (UAS) is a very important part of a structure in their control systems. Not only as a backup stabilization system in a case of IMU failure, but also as a main system, used for stabilization or navigation. In this paper the concept of a system for environment character detection is presented. The system can classify a surrounding environment depending on chosen characteristics. Such system can be used for a better horizon detection due to switching to a correct horizon detection algorithm, which can be used for determining the position of UAV. The system is based on Takagi - Sugeno fuzzy inference system and fuzzy artificial neural networks.     EFFECT OF LINEAR ACCELERATOR SETTINGS ON EVALUATION OF DOSIMETRIC VERIFICATION OF VMAT PLANS

    Background and purpose: Comparison of the measured and the calculated 2D dose distributions in the planning system is one of the standard methods of VMAT (volumetric-modulated arc therapy) plans verification in radiotherapy. The aim of this paper is to assess the ability of the QA (quality assurance) method used at the University Hospital Olomouc to detect significant errors in the linear accelerator settings and to estimate clinical impact of the undetected changes. Materials and methods: To study this issue we chose a method based on introducing simulated errors in gantry and MLC (multi-leaf collimator) settings into 10 clinical VMAT plans of the prostate and the head and neck patients. The ability of the verification system to recognize changes in prescribed setting is - for the purpose of this paper - characterized by a maximum error, in which the two dose distributions are evaluated as sufficiently identical within the parameters of gamma analysis. VMAT plans with the maximum undetected error were recalculated back into the real patient anatomy in order to assess the potential clinical impact. Results: The verification method including 3%/3mm gamma analysis criteria together with Octavius II system is able to detect errors larger than 2mm in MLC and 3° in gantry settings in the head and neck VMAT plans and 3mm and 5° for prostate VMATs. In comparison with the original plan, dose recalculations with these errors in the settings back into the real patients showed differences in dose distributions. Conclusion: Comparison of dose volume histograms for the original plan and the plans recalculated with implemented errors indicate that this system of verification of VMAT plans could cover up clinically relevant errors

    Modifying Hamming Spaces for Efficient Search

    We focus on the efficient search for the most similar bit strings to a given query in the Hamming space. The distance of this space can be lower-bounded by a function based on a difference of the number of ones in the compared strings, i.e. their weights. Recently, such property has been successfully used by the Hamming Weight Tree (HWT) indexing structure. We propose modifications of the bit strings that preserve pairwise Hamming distances but improve the tightness of these lower bounds, so the query evaluation with the HWT is several times faster. We also show that the unbalanced bit strings, recently reported to provide similar quality of search as the traditionally used balanced bit strings, are more easy to index with the HWT. Combined with the distance preserving modifications, the HWT query evaluation can be more than one order of magnitude faster than the HWT baseline. Finally, we show that such modifications are useful even for a very complex data where the search with the HWT is slower than a sequential search

V praktické části jsou uvedeny základní informace o podniku vlastnícím měřené stroje a informace o umístění jednotlivých strojů. Následují informace o použitém diagnostickém vybavení a způsobu měření a vyhodnocení dat. V hlavní části jsou zaznamenána nasbíraná data jednotlivých strojů. Závěrem práce je shrnutí výsledků měření a technického stavu strojů.The diploma thesis deals with the diagnostics of horizontal centrifugal pumps used in technological processes of chemical products processing in operation Coking plant Svoboda. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part are briefly described various types of devices for transport of liquids and their principle of operation. I also deal with the basics of vibro-diagnostics and thermodiagnostics. Also, there are mentioned conventional rotating machinery faults and their manifestations. The practical part provides basic information about the company owning the measured machines and information on the location of individual machines. The following are information about the diagnostic equipment used and the method of measuring and evaluating data. In the main section, the collected data of individual machines are recorded. Nad vykreslovanou scénou bude sestavena akcelerační datová struktura oktalový strom. Dále bude naměřeno, jakého zrychlení bylo dosaženo pomocí dané akcelerační datové struktury.The aim of this bachelor's thesis is an implemetation and following acceleration of Path Tracing algorithm. This algorithm will be implemented on the GPU using OpenGL. Above rendered scene will be built Octree data structure. Then the acceleration, which was achieved using this data structure, will be measured.
