Influence of sociodemographic factors and labor factors in appearance of burnout in women

La presente investigación pretende estudiar el síndrome de estar quemado, consecuencia principal del estrés, en una muestra de mujeres trabajadoras. Caracterizado por causar una baja eficacia profesional, un alto cansancio emocional y una alta despersonalización; este estudio analiza su relación con factores sociodemográficos y factores laborales como el apoyo organizacional percibido o la satisfacción laboral. Con el objetivo de conocer la influencia de determinadas variables sociodemográficas y laborales en la aparición del síndrome de burnout en mujeres, se tomó una muestra de 31 sujetos cuya edad media era de 38.87 años (DT = 6,9), empleadas de Grupo Eulen de Andalucía occidental. Se les administraron las siguientes pruebas: el Inventario General de Burnout de Maslach, el Cuestionario de Satisfacción Laboral S10/12, el Cuestionario de Apoyo Organizacional Percibido del SPOS y un cuestionario sobre datos sociodemográficos. Los resultados muestran relaciones significativas con el nivel de estudios alcanzados y la satisfacción laboral. Se concluye que el nivel de estudios actúa como variable protectora del burnout, mediante una relación inversa, y la satisfacción laboral como variable predisponente del burnout.The present research aims to study the syndrome of Burnout, the main consequence of stress, in a simple of working women. Characterized by showing low profesional efficacy, high emotional exhaustion and high depersonalization; this study analyzes their relationship with sociodemographic factors and labor factors such as perceived organizational support or occupational satisfaction. In order to know how they affect certain sodiodemographic and labor variables in the occurrence of burnout syndrome in women, a sample of 31 subjects was taken with a mean age of 38.87 years (SD = 6.9), employed by Gupo Eulen of Andalusia. The following tests were administered: Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey, Occupational Satisfaction Inventory S10/12, Survey of Perceived Organizational Support and a questionnaire about sociodemomgraphic data. The resuts show significant relationships with the level of studies achieved and occupational satisfaction. A 21st century perspective on Peru and the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea [UNCLOS III]

The adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea in 1982, constituted the major political and legal achievement that the International community has ever achieved, regarding the uses of the sea. It is considered as the Constitution of the Oceans binding upon all States, whether they are party or not to the Convention, as part of the current customary international law. Countries holding unilateral positions in this regard are every day less accepted and supported by the international community as a whole. The fundamentals of the 200nm thesis are now part of the main legal regimes under the Convention, providing its member States with sound juridical safeguards to ensure the protection of their maritime and economic interests within and beyond 200nm. This dissertation is a study of the current situation of Peru’s maritime interests with regard to the Convention, discussing Peru’s role in its development, and the benefits that Peru may obtain from acceding to the Convention at this point in history. In doing so, the juridical nature of Peru’s maritime domain is examined, the development of the 200nm thesis and its international advocacy are reviewed, and the reasons behind Peru’s decision not to sign UNCLOS in 1982 are discussed. Additionally, Peru’s political, economic, and environmental developments over the last 20 years are reviewed, following by a discussion of the benefits that Peru may obtain from acceding to the Convention to protect its maritime interests within and beyond 200nm, including the maritime boundary delimitation with Chile and Ecuador. Finally, some of the reasons why Peru should accede to UNCLOS at this point in history are briefly discussed in the concluding section of this dissertation. The discussions contained in this dissertation are based on the analysis of the researched information using a deductive methodology. This dissertation concludes that Peru should accede to the Convention and the 1994 and 1995 Implementing Agreements to ensure the protection of its maritime interests within and beyond 200n

Robustness of dynamically gradient multivalued dynamical systems

In this paper we study the robustness of dynamically gradient multivalued semiflows. As an application, we describe the dynamical properties of a family of Chafee-Infante problems approximating a differential inclusion studied in J. M. Arrieta, A. Rodríguez-Bernal and J. Gradient-like nonlinear semigroups with infinitely many equilibria and applications to cascade systems

We consider an autonomous dynamical system coming from a coupled system in cascade where the uncoupled part of the system satisfies that the solutions comes from −∞ and goes to ∞ to equilibrium points, and where the coupled part generates asymptotically a gradient-like nonlinear semigroup. Then, the complete model is proved to be also gradient-like. The interest of this extension comes, for instance, in models where a continuum of equilibrium points holds, and for example a Lojasiewicz-Simon condition is satisfied. Semilinear fractional differential equations: global solutions, critical nonlinearities and comparison results

In this work we study several questions concerning to abstract fractional Cauchy problems of order α ∈ (0, 1). Concretely, we analyze the existence of local mild solutions for the problem, and its possible continuation to a maximal interval of existence. The case of critical nonlinearities and corresponding regular mild solutions is also studied.
