    Cointegration analysis of wine export prices for France, Greece and Turkey

    Mediterranean countries have noticeable affect on the world wine exportation. Among these countries France, Greece and Turkey are selected for this study because of different wine market, trade systems and wine policies they have. In this study, cointegration analysis was conducted for real wine export prices and real exchange rates for France, Greece and Turkey. The long term relationships between real exchange rates and real wine export values were explored by using cointegration analysis. Annual data from 1970 to 2003 was used for this analysis and the data sets were found to be integrated of the same order. It was also found that they move together in the long run by Johansen Cointegration Test. Then, Error Correction Model (ECM) was applied to search any short term relations and impacts of exchange rate variations on wine exports. French and Greek monetary policies affect their wine export volume by the years. Therefore, any depreciation of local currency in dollar terms will lead to increase of exports vice versa. On the other hand, Turkish wine real export value and real exchange rate were found not cointegrated. Since, there was not any cointegrated vector, any exchange rate volatility do not influence Turkish real export wine value.     Agricultural policy instruments are implementing in different ways among all agricultural based activities. These instruments have been performed for livestock including dairy cattle and milk for many years in Turkey. Until the year 1950, agricultural support system was organized according to genetically improvement, animal illnesses and veterinary services. Nowadays, agricultural support composition has changed. Milk incentive premium is one of the supports given to producers to achieve high quality level for milk. The idea behind this premium was to provide well organized milk distribution channel from producers to modern enterprises. In this study, producers who receive milk incentive premium were chosen for face to face survey in Antalya province. It was examined from the study if premium system is accomplished through the idea.     Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang ditinjau dari gaya kognitif. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam Penelitian Kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTSN 3 Rokan Hulu. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes GEFT (Group Embredded Figure Test) yang dikembangkan oleh Witkin dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis berupa soal uraian. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, pemaparan data, analisis data pada kedua kelompok subjek dan penarikan kesimpulan. Analisis kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan indikator dari Ennis yaitu merumuskan strategi, memberikan alasan, dan menyimpulkan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan perbedaan gaya kognitif siswa mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan gaya kognitif field independent memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis lebih baik daripada siswa dengan gaya kognitif field dependent.     ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PENDAPATAN PEDAGANG DI PASAR KECAMATAN PANGKATAN

    Many factors influence the income of sellers. This research was aimed to examine the possible factors that affected the amount of income obtained by sellers of Pangkatan Market on Labuhanbatu Regency. This research was categorized as a descriptive research using quantitative method. This research was conducted in Pangkatan Market with 146 population of sellers. The samples in this research were 95 respondents taken by using Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. Meanwhile the method of data  collection  were  using  questionnaires  and  conducting  interview.  The variables used included business capital (X1), education level (X2), the duration of business practice(X3), working hours (X4) and sellers’ income (Y). The data analysis used was Multiple Linear Regression (OLS) with level of significance of 5%. The result of the research showed that partially the variables of business capital (X1) and working hours (X4) had significant effect to the income of sellers in  Pangkatan  Market.  Meanwhile  the  variables  of  education  level  (X2)  and  the duration  of  business  practice  (X3) partially  did  not  give  significant  effect  to sellers’  income  in  Pangkatan  Market on Labuhanbatu Regency.  Next,  the  variables  of  business  capital, education level, and working hours similarly gave significant influence towards the sellers’ income in Pangkatan Market. The influence was in the percentage of 52,6% and the remaining 47,4% is affected by the other variables.

    ABSTRAK Judul penelitian ini adalah Pengaruh  Metode  Resitasi  Terhadap  Perkembangan Kognitif  Siswa Pada Kemahiran Mendengar di MAN 1 Langsa. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Untuk  mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Metode ResitasiTerhadap Perkembangan Kognitif  Siswa Pada Kemahiran Mendengar di MAN 1 Langsa, dan Apa saja pengaruh penggunaan metode resitasi terhadap Kognitif  Siswa Pada Kemahiran Mendengar di MAN 1 Langsa. Peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian eksperimen menggunakan metode resitasi. Ini adalah cara yang cocok untuk digunakan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan mendengar. Dan adapun metode penelitian yang peneliti gunakan adalah metode eksperimen quasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dari penelitian ini meliputi 118 siswa kelas XI di MAN 1 Langsa tahun pelajaran 2019-2020 dengan jumlah sampel 22 siswa dari kelas kontrol dan 22 siswa dari kelas eksperimen. Dan instrumen yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan tes. Setelah peneliti menganalisis data maka peneliti menemukan hasil penelitian yaitu:  metode resitasi berpengaruh besar terhadap perkembangan kognitif siswa khususnya kemahiran mendengar, ini di buktikan dengan nilai t-hitung 2,04 lebih besar dari pada nilai t-tabel 1.697, dan macam-macam pengaruh dari penggunaan metode resitasi terhadap perkembangan kognitif siswa pada kemahiran mendengarkan di MAN 1 Langsa yaitu : siswa dapat memahami materi pelajaran dengan baik, siswa dapat memecahkan masalah dan siswa mengetahui materi yang baru dari materi yang di ajarkan oleh guru

    Evolution of Subsurface Temperatures in West Sumatra - Southern Java Waters During 2010–2014 Indian Ocean Dipole Events

    The temperature anomaly formation in the West Sumatra and South Java Waters plays an important role in the formation of the Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD). There have not been many detailed studies on the evolution of temperature anomalies in the subsurface layers in the area during the IOD events. In this study, temperature data from the HYCOM were used to examine the evolution of temperature anomalies on the surface and subsurface in the event of negative IOD (nIOD) 2010 and positive IOD (pIOD) 2012). The analysis was done using a cross-section plot and a Hovmöller diagram. It has shown that in the negative IOD 2010, a positive temperature anomaly in the subsurface layer was started four months earlier than the surface layer and ended six months after the IOD event. In contrast to positive IOD 2012, a negative temperature anomaly formed in the surface layer seven months earlier, and then move to the deeper layer coincide with the onset of the positive IOD event. The negative anomaly in both layers was simultaneously over two months after the positive IOD event over. The La-Niña phase that coincides with the positive or negative IOD event, influences the process of forming temperature anomalies in the subsurface layer, which in this case supports (inhibits) the formation of positive (negative) temperature anomalies in negative (positive) IOD event. The temperature anomaly in the subsurface layer can be an alternative indicator in identifying and predicting IOD events

    Abstract Most individuals build peer relationships where there is someone who is fun to be with and can make individuals comfortable being themselves. In line with the development of individual relationships tend to require acceptance from the environment. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between self-confidence and self-disclosure in new students at SMK X Malang Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with the population in this study is the new students of SMK X in 2020/2021 as many as 114 people. The data collection technique uses a Likert scale instrument consisting of a self-confidence scale consisting of 30 items and a self-disclosure scale consisting of 30 items that have been tested for reliability and validity. The data analysis technique used the Pearson product moment correlation technique with SPSS version 22 for windows. The results showed that there was a relationship between self-confidence and self-disclosure. The higher the self-confidence, the higher the self-disclosure and vice versa. Individuals can develop their social skills during online schooling to establish relationships or interactions through self-disclosure by increasing their self-confidence.Sebagian besar individu membangun hubungan sengan teman sebaya dimana ada seseorang yang menyenangkan untuk bersama dan dapat membuat individu nyaman menjadi diri sendiri. Sejalan dengan perkembangan hubungan individu cenderung membutuhkan penerimaan dari lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara  Self-confidence dengan Self-disclosure pada siswa siswi baru SMK X Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah murid  baru SMK X tahun 2020/2021 sebanyak 114 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen skala likert yang terdiri dari skala Self-confidence terdiri dari 30 item dan skala Self-disclosure yang terdiri dari 30 item yang telah di uji reliabilitas dan validitasnya. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi pearson product moment dengan SPSS versi 22 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara Self-confidance dengan Self-disclosure. Semakin tinggi self confidence maka semakin tinggi juga Self-disclosure demikian pula sebaliknya.     ANALISIS PERSEPEKTIF GURU DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN SELF ESTEEM SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SD

    Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menjelaskan bentuk persepsi guru terhadap peran mereka dalam mengembangkan self esteem siswa pada pembelajaran matematika, (2) menjelaskan strategi yang digunakan guru dalam mengembangkan self esteem siswa pada pembelajaran matematika, (3) menjelaskan tantangan yang dihadapi guru dalam membentuk self esteem siswa pada pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara dan observasi pembelajaran pada empat guru SD di wilayah Kec. Medan Marelan. Analisis dengan model Miles & Huberman yang digunakan yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Guru di SD Swasta Mandiri memahami peran penting mereka dalam mengembangkan self esteem siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika (2) Penggunaan strategi pembelajaran kooperatif dan pendekatan berbasis proyek dianggap sebagai sarana efektif untuk mengembangkan self esteem (3) Guru juga menghadapi tantangan, seperti ketakutan siswa terhadap matematika dan kurangnya dukungan dari lingkungan di luar sekolah.Abstract: This study aims to (1) explain the form of teacher perception of their role in developing student self-esteem in mathematics learning, (2) explain the strategies used by teachers in developing student self-esteem in mathematics learning, (3) explain the challenges faced by teachers in shaping student self-esteem in mathematics learning. The study was conducted by conducting interviews and learning observations on four elementary school teachers in the Medan Marelan District. Analysis with the Miles & Huberman model used, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed: (1) Teachers in SD Swasta Mandiri understand their important role in developing students' self-esteem in mathematics learning (2) The use of cooperative learning strategies and project-based approaches is considered an effective means to develop self-esteem (3) Teachers also face challenges, such as students' fear of mathematics and lack of support from environments outside of school
