CAPACITAÇÃO PARA PROMOÇÃO DA PISCICULTURA E DESENVOLVIMENTO RURAL

The objective was to train fish farmers to develop the rural environment. The work was developed in the Marajó archipelago (Pará - Brazil), through the project "Aquicultura Marajoara" of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pará (IFPA) Campus Breves, in 2020. Thirteen course participants participated in the training on fish farming and the adoption of Good Management Practices. Water quality; indicated species; fish transport management; quarantine and stocking of fish; fish biometrics management; liming and fertilization of nurseries; management of nutrition, feeding and health of fish; and fishing and slaughtering of fish, were covered in the course. The project trained men and women from different rural communities. Issues about water quality, biometrics and fish nutrition and health were the ones that drew the most attention from fish farmers. In conclusion, the project reinforced teaching, research and extension actions, involving the community in favor of strengthening aquaculture in Marajó.O objetivo foi capacitar piscicultores para desenvolver o meio rural. O trabalho foi desenvolvido no arquipélago do Marajó (Pará – Brasil), por meio do projeto “Aquicultura Marajoara” do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Pará (IFPA) Campus Breves, em 2020. Treze cursistas participaram da capacitação, sobre a piscicultura e adoção de Boas Práticas de Manejo. A qualidade da água; espécies indicadas; manejo de transporte de peixes; quarentena e povoamento dos peixes; manejo de biometria de peixe; calagem e adubação de viveiros; manejo de nutrição, alimentação e sanidade de peixes; e despesca e abate de peixe, foram abordados no curso. O projeto capacitou homens e mulheres de diversas comunidades rurais. Assuntos sobre a qualidade da água, a biometria e a nutrição e sanidade de peixes, foram os que chamaram mais atenção dos piscicultores. Em conclusão, o projeto reforçou as ações de ensino, pesquisa e extensão, envolvendo a comunidade em prol do fortalecimento da aquicultura no Marajó

Diante disso, o presente estudo teve como objetivo entender os estudantes em agropecuária quanto a área da aquicultura, por meio da aplicação da análise diagnóstica. Given this, the present study aimed to understand the students’ reflections in agriculture regarding the area of aquaculture, through the application of diagnostic analysis. The methodology consisted of a qualitative and explanatory field research. The study was developed with 50 students of the first year of high school of the technical course in Agriculture of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pará (IFPA), Campus Breves. In conclusion, the students declared that they found the subject of aquaculture important as a discipline within the technical course, although they interested in fish farming. The lack of knowledge about aquaculture ventures in Marajó may be one of also demonstrate little affinity with the area; those who have shown affinity are the factors responsible for the students' lack of interest in the area, because in the region the culture of fishing activity has been even stronger for fish generation in the Marajó archipelago

Reflections on teaching aquaculture in the Marajó archipelago, Eastern Amazon

Aquaculture is a growing agricultural activity in the Marajó Archipelago, State of Pará, Brazil. Thus, it is important to discuss the creation of aquatic organisms in technical courses in the field of agrarian sciences. REFLEXÕES SOBRE AS AULAS DE EDUCAÇÃO FISICA

Grande parte dos professores questiona-se sobre o sentido do seu papel, buscando encontrar princípios válidos que orientem as suas pra ticas educativas. Existem teorias de ensino, muitas propostas metodológicas, que freqüentemente são utilizadas pelos professores para orientar a sua ação pedagógica. A decisão por uma ou por outra metodologia, muitas vezes, é influenciada por modismos, sendo as diferentes alternativas adotadas sem uma reflexão crítica. São como que impostas de fora pa ra dentro, sendo por isso incapazes de orientar de forma efetiva os procedimentos concretos do professor em sala de aula. Partimos do princípio que as práticas pedagógicas do professor realmente serão   consistentes e autênticas, se estiverem enraizadas na sua concepção de ser humano, vida e sociedade. Por isso consideramos importante que o professor busque, através de leituras e reflexões, encontrar princípios válidos que orientem a sua ação pedagógica

Mortalidade de tambaqui, Colossoma macropomum, por helmintos na Ilha do Marajó, Pará, Brasil

In the Marajó Island (State of Pará, Brazil) the most bred species with the greatest economic interest is the tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum). Currently, one of the problem that most worries technicians and aquaculturists in Marajó is the occurrence of diseases. Many diseases require preventive management practices. However, such care is not always taken. Thus, the aim of this study was to report a case of tambaqui fingerling mortality by monogenous parasites in Marajó island. The animals were acquired in commercial fish farming and transported to the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pará (IFPA) Campus Breves. A Part of fish were kept in laboratory for nutrition experiment and part was kept in excavated tanks. In conclusion, the occurrence of monogenoids resulted in mortality and reduced weight gain of animals kept in experimental environment, the same not being observed in their counterparts kept in excavated tanks.Na Ilha do Marajó (Estado do Pará, Brasil) a espécie mais criada e que apresenta o maior interesse econômico é o tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum). Atualmente, uma das questões que mais preocupam os técnicos e aquicultores no Marajó é a ocorrência de doenças. Muitas das enfermidades requerem práticas de manejo preventivas. Porém, nem sempre são tomados esses cuidados. Assim, o objetivo desse estudo foi relatar um caso de mortalidade de alevinos de tambaqui por parasitos monogenóides na ilha do Marajó. Os animais foram adquiridos em piscicultura comercial e transportados para o Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Pará (IFPA) Campus Breves. Parte dos peixes foram mantidos em laboratório para experimento de nutrição e outra parte foi mantida em viveiros escavados. Em conclusão, a ocorrência por monogenóides resultou em mortalidade e redução do ganho de peso dos animais mantidos em ambiente experimental, o mesmo não sendo observado nos seus congêneres mantidos em viveiros escavados
