    Analysis of probability of the enterprise bankruptcy

    Метою дослідження є виявлення особливостей, переваг та недоліків основних моделей аналізу ймовірності банкрутства підприємства. Методика дослідження. Під час здійснення дослідження використовувався системно-аналітичний метод; методи аналізу динаміки – для виявлення тенденцій зміни показників імовірності банкрутства; табличний метод – для наочного відображення інформації. Результати. Аналіз основних моделей оцінки ймовірності банкрутства показав, що зарубіжні моделі є менш поширеними в Україні через особливості економічної ситуації в Україні; наявні моделі потребують модифікації та адаптації для ефективної оцінки платоспроможності та ймовірності банкрутства українських підприємств. Практична значущість результатів дослідження. Результати проведеного дослідження дозволили виявити основні особливості та недоліки застосування найбільш поширених моделей оцінки ймовірності банкрутства та обґрунтувати необхідність використання сукупності моделей для отримання зважених результатів щодо оцінки ймовірності банкрутства підприємства.The article considers domestic and foreign models for assessing the probability of bankruptcy, their application in practice and analysis of the results of their use to assess the probability of bankruptcy in a Ukrainian enterprise. Peculiarities, advantages and disadvantages of bankruptcy probability assessment models are determined: the five-factor Altman model, the Springgate model, the Beaver coefficient and the Tereshchenko model in practical application, which allow you to effectively and efficiently assess the financial condition of the enterprise. The analysis of the probability of bankruptcy was carried out on the example of the industrial enterprise PJSC "Odessa Cable Plant" Odeskabel". This company is the absolute leader in the cable industry in Ukraine, has vast experience and capabilities, but in recent years there has been a marked deterioration in key indicators of profitability, liquidity and financial stability (this necessitates assessing the probability of bankruptcy based on selected models). It is proved that the domestic model Tereshchenko gives relatively soft results on the threat of bankruptcy. It is determined that foreign models are less common in Ukraine due to the peculiarities of the economic situation and imperfect market conditions. Thus, the existing models need to be modified and adapted to effectively assess the solvency and probability of bankruptcy of Ukrainian enterprises. The considered models of bankruptcy forecasting give different results, therefore in practice it is necessary to apply not one separate model, but their set, for achievement of balanced results. Thus, we can conclude that at present there is a need for further study of the application of models to analyse the probability of bankruptcy of enterprises in various sectors of the economy, taking into account their size, capital structure and internal indicators

    Photoassociation inside an optical dipole trap: absolute rate coefficients and Franck-Condon factors

    We present quantitative measurements of the photoassociation of cesium molecules inside a far-detuned optical dipole trap. A model of the trap depletion dynamics is derived which allows to extract absolute photoassociation rate coefficients for the initial single-photon photoassociation step from measured trap-loss spectra. The sensitivity of this approach is demonstrated by measuring the Franck-Condon modulation of the weak photoassociation transitions into the low vibrational levels of the outer well of the 0g- state that correlates to the 6s+6p3/2 asymptote. The measurements are compared to theoretical predictions. In a magneto-optical trap these transitions have previously only been observed indirectly through ionization of ground state molecules

    Quadratic solitons as nonlocal solitons

    We show that quadratic solitons are equivalent to solitons of a nonlocal Kerr medium. This provides new physical insight into the properties of quadratic solitons, often believed to be equivalent to solitons of an effective saturable Kerr medium.     The astrometric Gaia-FUN-SSO observation campaign of 99 942 Apophis

    Astrometric observations performed by the Gaia Follow-Up Network for Solar System Objects (Gaia-FUN-SSO) play a key role in ensuring that moving objects first detected by ESA's Gaia mission remain recoverable after their discovery. An observation campaign on the potentially hazardous asteroid (99 942) Apophis was conducted during the asteroid's latest period of visibility, from 12/21/2012 to 5/2/2013, to test the coordination and evaluate the overall performance of the Gaia-FUN-SSO . The 2732 high quality astrometric observations acquired during the Gaia-FUN-SSO campaign were reduced with the Platform for Reduction of Astronomical Images Automatically (PRAIA), using the USNO CCD Astrograph Catalogue 4 (UCAC4) as a reference. The astrometric reduction process and the precision of the newly obtained measurements are discussed. We compare the residuals of astrometric observations that we obtained using this reduction process to data sets that were individually reduced by observers and accepted by the Minor Planet Center. We obtained 2103 previously unpublished astrometric positions and provide these to the scientific community. Using these data we show that our reduction of this astrometric campaign with a reliable stellar catalog substantially improves the quality of the astrometric results. We present evidence that the new data will help to reduce the orbit uncertainty of Apophis during its close approach in 2029. We show that uncertainties due to geolocations of observing stations, as well as rounding of astrometric data can introduce an unnecessary degradation in the quality of the resulting astrometric positions. Finally, we discuss the impact of our campaign reduction on the recovery process of newly discovered asteroids.Comment: Accepted for publication in A&

    Fermionic coherent states for pseudo-Hermitian two-level systems

    We introduce creation and annihilation operators of pseudo-Hermitian fermions for two-level systems described by pseudo-Hermitian Hamiltonian with real eigenvalues. This allows the generalization of the fermionic coherent states approach to such systems. Pseudo-fermionic coherent states are constructed as eigenstates of two pseudo-fermion annihilation operators. These coherent states form a bi-normal and bi-overcomplete system, and their evolution governed by the pseudo-Hermitian Hamiltonian is temporally stable.     Formation of ultracold RbCs molecules by photoassociation

    The formation of ultracold metastable RbCs molecules is observed in a double species magneto-optical trap through photoassociation below the ^85Rb(5S_1/2)+^133Cs(6P_3/2) dissociation limit followed by spontaneous emission. The molecules are detected by resonance enhanced two-photon ionization. Using accurate quantum chemistry calculations of the potential energy curves and transition dipole moment, we interpret the observed photoassociation process as occurring at short internuclear distance, in contrast with most previous cold atom photoassociation studies. The vibrational levels excited by photoassociation belong to the 5th 0^+ or the 4th 0^- electronic states correlated to the Rb(5P_1/2,3/2)+Cs(6S_1/2) dissociation limit. The computed vibrational distribution of the produced molecules shows that they are stabilized in deeply bound vibrational states of the lowest triplet state. We also predict that a noticeable fraction of molecules is produced in the lowest level of the electronic ground state

    Formation of ultracold dipolar molecules in the lowest vibrational levels by photoassociation

    We recently reported the formation of ultracold LiCs molecules in the rovibrational ground state X1Sigma+,v''=0,J''=0 [J. Deiglmayr et al., PRL 101, 133004 (2008)]. Here we discuss details of the experimental setup and present a thorough analysis of the photoassociation step including the photoassociation line shape. We predict the distribution of produced ground state molecules using accurate potential nergy curves combined with an ab-initio dipole transition moment and compare this prediction with experimental ionization spectra. Additionally we improve the value of the dissociation energy for the X1Sigma+ state by high resolution spectroscopy of the vibrational ground state.Comment: Submitted to Faraday Discussions 142: Cold and Ultracold Molecules 18 pages, 8 figure
