    A Study Of Green Human Resources Management (GHRM) Practices in The Strategic Management

    The recent increase in environmental problems has made it necessary for organizations to create environmental strategies. “Green culture” becomes even more important, especially if the raw materials used, the production process and the product itself can harm the environment. As environmental awareness, sustainability and environmental responsibilities become more and more important, organizations include environmental elements in their strategies. The effective and efficient carry out of environmental strategies in the organization is possible with the support of managers and the participation of employees. Green human resources management (GHRM) takes an active role in the environmental and sustainability goals of organizations and the HR department turns into a key strategic unit. It’s important for the whole organization that human resources management and practices gain a “green” dimension. This study aims to reveal the relation between strategic management and GHRM and its practices. The research was designed with qualitative features. In-depth interviews were used in the research. The results of the study have revealed that green human resources practices are carried out even if green human resources are not directly involved in the strategic management process. In addition, it has revealed which green human resources practices are used in the organizations

    The Identification of The City on The Legibility and Wayfinding Concepts: A Case of Trabzon

    The concept of wayfinding includes understanding the space and finding direction within the space. But as cities and architectural spaces grow and become more complex, visitors and locals of the space can find it difficult to find direction. For these reasons, for visitors who speak different languages, along with these elements, there is a need for well-designed information and direction-finding graphics and landmarks that have a universal quality. The aim of the study is to explain the concepts of wayfinding and way-finding, defined as “direction-finding” in the literature and to create awareness. Furthermore, to analyze the concept of wayfinding and the direction designs that aim to transform the cities that have become complex into more understandable spaces, through the city of Trabzon and to examine the problems of the city in this context and to make suggestions. In this study, Trabzon will be evaluated with the concepts of legibility and directability and the direction and information designs over the focal point, regions, edges, nodes, roads with which Kevin Lynch has defined the imageable, readable city.     İşkoliklik ve İşten Ayrılma Niyeti Arasındaki İlişkide İş Yaşam Dengesinin Aracılık Rolü The Mediation Role of Work Life Balance on the Relationship Between Workaholism and Turnover Intention

    Bu çalışmada işkolikliğin iş yaşam dengesi ve işten ayrılma niyeti üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesi ve işkolikliğin işten ayrılma niyeti üzerindeki etkisinde iş yaşam dengesinin aracı rolünün ortaya çıkarılması amaçlanmıştır. Kolayda örnekleme yöntemiyle ulaşılabilen 217 katılımcı üzerinde gerçekleştirilen araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak online anket formu kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde SPSS 21 ve AMOS 21 istatistik programlarından yararlanılmıştır. Hipotezlerin test edilmesinde yapısal eşitlik modelleri kullanılırken, aracı etkinin incelenmesinde doğrudan ve dolaylı etkilere yer verilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarında aşırı çalışmanın, işin aile yaşamına etkisi ve ailenin iş yaşamına etkisi üzerinde pozitif yönde etkisi olduğu, işin aile yaşamına etkisi üzerindeki etkinin ise daha fazla olduğu belirlenmiştir. Zorunlu (kompulsif) çalışmanın ise işin aile yaşamına etkisi ve ailenin iş yaşamına etkisi üzerinde negatif yönde etkisi olduğu belirlenirken, aile yaşamına etkinin daha fazla olduğu tespit edilmiştir. İşin aile yaşamına etkisinin işten ayrılma niyeti üzerinde pozitif yönde etkisi olduğu belirlenirken, ailenin iş yaşamına etkisinin işten ayrılma niyeti üzerinde pozitif yönde ve daha düşük düzeyde etkisi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Aşırı çalışmanın işten ayrılma niyeti üzerindeki etkisinin işin aile yaşamına etkisi ve ailenin iş yaşamına etkisi aracılığıyla tam aracı olarak gerçekleştiği belirlenirken, Zorunlu (kompulsif) çalışmanın işten ayrılma niyeti üzerindeki etkisinde işin aile yaşamına etkisi ve ailenin iş yaşamına etkisinin kısmi aracı role sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. In this study, it is aimed to examine the effect of workaholism on work life balance and turnover intention and to reveal the mediating role of work life balance in the effect of workaholism on the turnover intention. An online questionnaire was used as the data collection tool in the research carried out on 217 participants, which can be accessed through convenience sampling method. SPSS 21 and AMOS 21 statistical programs were used to analyze the data. While the structural equation models are used to test hypotheses, direct and indirect effects are included to examine mediatory roles. In the results of the analysis, it was determined that the excessive working had a positive effect on the work family conflict and the family work conflict and the effect on the work family conflict was more. In addition, it was found that the compulsive working had a negative effect on the work family conflict and the family work conflict and the effect on the family work conflict were found to be more. While the work family conflict has a positive effect on the turnover intention, it has been concluded that family work conflict has a positive and lower effect on the turnover intention. While the effect of excessive working on the turnover intention is determined as a fully mediator role through the work family conflict and family work conflict, the effect of compulsive working on the turnover intention have been found as a partial mediator role through the work family conflict and family work conflic

    Design Approaches to Museum Open Spaces with User Evaluations

    The concept of the museum today should be considered as a social communication platform, and museums should be designed by taking into account the interaction and harmony of their open and closed spaces with the immediate surroundings. This study emphasizes the importance of museums for the city and discusses design approaches to museum open spaces with examples of their effective use and an evaluation of the opinions of their users. In order to shed light on today's museum exterior design approaches, evaluations of the design setup of the museum open spaces were carried out on the basis of literature research and spatial experiences of the museum examples visited. In addition, using the content analysis method, by creating statements about usage, satisfaction level, and expectations, a questionnaire was planned and designed to be applied to a volunteer user group. According to the examples given and the survey data, museum open space designs were carried out. Four groups of factors - planning and design, social, functional and perceptual-having the greatest impact on visitor satisfaction were identified. The examples given include a discussion of museum open space facilities, along with commentary from the literature. For the evaluation of the users, a survey was conducted with 74 people. The survey asked about their satisfaction levels and their expectations in terms of museums and open spaces.  Since there was not chance to conduct face to face survey in pandemic conditions, the study was conducted that questioned the general qualifications. In addition to reaching the users visiting the museum were limited. When we look at the literature, multi-dimensional research has been carried out on museum architecture and design. However, no comprehensive study has been carried out on museum open spaces. Consequently, this study focused on the interaction between museum open spaces and visitors

    İşyeri Tehlike Sınıflarına Göre Çalışanların Güvenlik İklimi Algılarının İncelenmesi

    Çalışmanın amacı işyeri tehlike sınıflarına göre güvenlik iklimi algısının istatistiksel olarak anlamlı şekildefarklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını ortaya koymaktır. Farklı tehlike sınıflarını temsilen seçilen üç işyerinden toplam 223katılımcıya ulaşılarak anket yoluyla elde edilen veriler analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, işyeri tehlike sınıflarınagöre güvenlik iklimi algısı anlamlı olarak farklılaşmaktadır. Az tehlikeli sınıfa ait olan işyerindeki katılımcılarınbulundukları işyerini daha güvenli algıladıkları; tehlike sınıfı arttıkça (çok tehlikeli sınıf) çalışanların işyerlerini daha azgüvenli algıladıkları tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca güvenlik iklimi algısı; cinsiyet, statü, yaş ve eğitim durumuna göre anlamlıolarak farklılaşmaktadır. Kadınların erkeklere oranla; yöneticilerin ise çalışanlara oranla güvenlik iklimi algıları dahayüksek bulunmuştur. Eğitim değişkeninde; ortaöğretim ve ön lisans mezunlarının güvenlik iklimi algıları daha yüksekolarak ortaya konulmuştur. Son olarak yaş değişkeninde; 30 yaş altı çalışanlarda güvenlik iklimi algısı en fazlabulunmuştur
