Dust Grain Orbital Behavior Around Ceres

Many asteroids show indications they have undergone impacts with meteoroid particles having radii between 0.01 m and 1 m. During such impacts, small dust grains will be ejected at the impact site. The possibility of these dust grains (with radii greater than 2.2x10-6 m) forming a halo around a spherical asteroid (such as Ceres) is investigated using standard numerical integration techniques. The orbital elements, positions, and velocities are determined for particles with varying radii taking into account both the influence of gravity, radiation pressure, and the interplanetary magnetic field (for charged particles). Under the influence of these forces it is found that dust grains (under the appropriate conditions) can be injected into orbits with lifetimes in excess of one year. The lifetime of the orbits is shown to be highly dependent on the location of the ejection point as well as the angle between the surface normal and the ejection path. It is also shown that only particles ejected within 10 degrees relative to the surface tangential survive more than a few hours and that the longest-lived particles originate along a line perpendicular to the Ceres-Sun line.Comment: 8 pages, Presented at COSPAR '0

Analisis Tingkat Keterampilan Teknik Dasar Bermain Sepakbola Pada Siswa Sekolah Sepakbola (SSB) Assyabaab Surabaya KU-12 Tahun

ABSTRAK Sepakbola merupakan suatu aktivitas olahraga  dilapangan terbuka, dan juga merupakan wadah dalam suatu proses pembinaan guna melahirkan pemain-pemain dengan kualitas dan kemampuan skill teknik dasar bermain sepakbola dengan baik. Pada penelitian ini terdapat suatu rumusan masalah mengenai bagaimana hasil dari Tingkat Keterampilan Teknik Dasar bermain sepakbola pada siswa SSB Assyabaab Surabaya KU-12 Tahun yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui Tingkat Keterampilan Teknik Dasar bermain sepakbola pada pemainnya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan cara mengumpulkan data dari tes yang perlakukan terhadap pemain SSB Assyabaab Surabaya KU-12 Tahun dengan jumlah 17 siswa dengan melakukan pengamatan, setelah itu menghitung hasil tes dengan cara mengambil nilai pada waktu dan skor yang terbaik setelah itu dimasukkan ke dalam skala pengembangan hasil penilaian rangkaian tes hasil belajar, setelah itu menghitung prosentase dari hasil tes terhadap masing-masing norma penilaian. Hasil penilaian rangkaian tes hasil belajar, terdapat 2 pemain dengan kategori penilaian sangat Baik (11,8 %), 2 pemain kategori penilaian Baik (11,8 %), 7 pemain dengan kategori penilaian Sedang (41,2 %), 4 pemain dengan kategori penilaian Kurang (23,4 %), 2 pemain dengan kategori penilaian Sangat Kurang (11,8 %). Dilihat dari hasil perhitungan nilai keseluruhan terhadap 17 pemain SSB Assyabaab Surabaya KU-12 tahun ini rata-rata nilai hasilnya tergolong dalam penilaian kategori Sedang dan juga masih banyak hasil penilaian kategori Kurang, karena terdapat kelemahan pada beberapa item tes seperti passing, shooting, dan juggling, sehingga nilai yang didapat menjadi rendah. Maka dari itu hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatih harus memperhatikan dan melakukan evaluasi dalam setiap proses latihan dengan baik dan benar. FAKTOR FAKTOR YANG MEMBERIKAN IMPLIKASI TERHADAP KETERIKATAN PEKERJA

Purpose- This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture, communication, and religiosity on work engagement mediated by work motivation at the Bureau of Personnel and Organization, Main Secretariat of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency. Design/methodology/approach- The population in this study was 143 Civil Servants (PNS). Samples were taken by a population of 143 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews, while the analytical tool used is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS version 22. Findings- The results of this study indicate that organizational culture, communication, and religiosity do not have a significant positive effect on work motivation and work engagement. Work motivation is not proven as a mediator of cultural, communication, and religiosity relations to work attachment. Implications- To improve the organizational culture of personnel and organization bureaus can be done through enhancing activities that support the re-culture of the organization in the routine activities of the Personnel and Organizations Bureau. Kuiper Binary Object Formation

It has been observed that binary Kuiper Belt Objects (KBOs) exist contrary to theoretical expectations. Their creation presents problems to most current models. However, the inclusion of a third body (for example, one of the outer planets) may provide the conditions necessary for the formation of these objects. The presence of a third massive body not only helps to clear the primordial Kuiper Belt but can also result in long lived binary Kuiper belt objects. The gravitational interaction between the KBOs and the third body causes one of four effects; scattering into the Oort cloud, collisions with the growing protoplanets, formation of binary pairs, or creation of a single Kuiper belt object. Additionally, the initial location of the progenitors of the Kuiper belt objects also has a significant effect on binary formation
