The article presents data on new locations of 65 aphyllophoroid fungal species in the Lapland State Nature Bio- sphere Reserve, 17 of which were new findings for the reserve. Four species (Gloeocystidiellum convolvens, Piloderma byssinum, Pseudotomentella vepallidospora, Scytinostromella heterogenea) are new records for Murmansk Region.

The article discusses the results of the study of the management decision-making styles of secondary school principals, which was held in 2014 in eight regions of the Russian Federation (one region of each federal district) basing on the methodology of A. Rowe. The objective of the study was to assess the Russian principals’ reform potential, which in the present conditions, according to the authors, is based on the ability to build a partnership with teachers in decision-making and to preserve the ability to solve problems in a situation of uncertainty, which was so characteristic of the era of change. Based on the findings of the research on the management decision-making styles, comparison of the two reforms in the recent history of Russian education was made: the financial reform that includes certain financial freedom for schools willing to switch to a form of the autonomous institution, and the substantial reform that offers schools to claim to a lyceum and gymnasium status with wider opportunities to organize the educational process. The comparison reveals that the substantial reform has attracted a greater number of principals-reformers than the financial one, which characterizes a formal and directive side of the latterВ настоящей статье обсуждаются результаты исследования стилей принятия управленческих решений директоров общеобразовательных школ, которое было проведено в 2014 г.

Effect of the Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stromal Cells Cytokine-Producing Activity on the Hematopoietic Ste

Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is used to treat hemoblastoses and some other diseases. Depending on the diagnosis, autologous cells of the patient or allogeneic cells obtained from a healthy related or unrelated donor are used. A sufficient count of harvested hematopoietic progenitor cells is necessary for successful transplantation. Currently, stimulation of their egress from the bone marrow into the peripheral blood by a granulocyte colony-stimulating factor, followed by collection by leukapheresis, is widely used for their preparation. Hematopoietic stem cells leave the bone marrow niche formed by the stromal microenvironment when their holding bonds are interrupted. Mesenchymal stromal cells regulate the release of hematopoietic precursors by producing various cytokines and other biologically active substances. Therefore, the study of the functional properties of bone marrow mesenchymal cells can help in solving the problem of “poor” mobilizations that occur in patients with multiple myeloma. The aim of the study was to estimate the effectiveness of mobilization of hematopoietic stem cells depending on the cytokine-producing ability of mesenchymal stromal cells in the bone marrow of donors and patients with multiple myeloma. The yields of hematopoietic progenitors were studied in 10 donors (median age 27 years) and 18 patients with multiple myeloma (median age 57 years). In donors, the release of hematopoietic stem cells into the peripheral blood was stimulated by subcutaneous administration of G-CSF at a dose of 10 μg/kg/day. Patients with multiple myeloma received vinorelbine at a dose of 35 mg/m2 of body surface, followed by administration of G-CSF (10 μg/kg/day subcutaneously). A culture of mesenchymal stromal cells was obtained from bone marrow taken prior to mobilization and the content of interleukins IL-1β, IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, TNF-α and IFN-γ in supernatants was studied by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay using kits of reagents produced by Vector-Best (Novosibirsk).Patients with multiple myeloma were characterized by high secretion of the pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-2 (4.70 pg/ml vs 3.55 pg/ml in healthy individuals, p=0.003) and low IFN-γ (0.41 pg/ml vs 2.14 pg/ml in healthy, p<0.001), but no relationship was found between these cytokines and the hematopoietic stem cells yield. The present study showed that in patients with ineffective harvesting of hematopoietic precursors, secretion of IL-8 by stromal cells was low (308.08 pg/ml vs 561.29 pg/ml in healthy individuals, p=0.04).The obtained results are consistent with the literature data on the important role of IL-8 in the mobilization of hematopoietic stem cells, which allows to consider IL-8 as an informative marker for predicting the insufficient yields of hematopoietic precursors

Cocksfoot is one of the earliest, highly nutritious valuable forage crops, which is widely used in agricultural production. It is relevant in developing varieties adapted to the environmental stress factors that have productive longevity, increased seed and fodder productivity. The paper presents the results of wild cocksfoot accessions conducted on Ekaterininskaya RS in 2017-2019. No accessions of cocksfoot were identified that consistently exceeded the standard grade for all three years of study. Accessions collected in the North Caucasus and Tajikistan and introduced from the Mediterranean region performed well in the first year of life, but by the third year of the life, they significantly reduced all characteristics. The accessions of cocksfoot from the Central Region of the European part of the RF and from the mountainous regions of the Southern Urals are of the greatest interest for breeding in the Central Chernozem zone

University faculty motivation to students’ distant evaluation

During the period of remote learning in Russia, caused by measures to combat coronavirus infection in 2020, many university professors realized that dissatisfaction with the quality of their teaching activities, the teaching methods and the conditions in education was carried out, significantly reduced their motivation to teaching activity. The analysis of scientific literature showed that there is a lack of research on the motivation of university faculty, which is explained by the public attitude towards the initially high motivation of professors and the lack of methodological tools for conducting research. We used the following research methods: competence-based and system-activity approaches, as well as several theories of motivation developed by Russian and foreign scientists. Realizing that faculty motivation is one of the main factors that can ensure high quality education through the introduction of advanced teaching technologies, the article presents the results of an empirical study that made it possible to determine four main groups of negative factors that affect faculty motivation to carry out distant evaluation of the students. The recommendations are formulated for the university faculty, educational and methodological departments and administration of universities, which can contribute to the growth or maintenance of the faculty motivation both in “face-to-face” and distant educational process
