A precarização do trabalho docente: um estudo sobre a situação dos professores/as de sociologia das escolas estaduais de Joinville.

Através da revisão da literatura produzida em torno das questões relacionadas ao sistema educacional brasileiro, precarização do trabalho docente, ensino de sociologia nas escolas de ensino médio brasileiras, de questões históricas, políticas e econômicas da cidade de Joinville, bem como de dados disponibilizados pela Gerência de Educação, buscamos identificar alguns problemas significativos enfrentados pelos docentes de sociologia que trabalham nas escolas estaduais de Joinville. Finalmente apontamos alguns caminhos que possam contribuir na construção de um sistema educacional mais crítico, reflexivo e de qualidade que valorize o trabalho docente.This article examines the precariousness of teaching in public state schools in Joinville. Focusing on the sociology teachers. Through of the review of literature produced on issues related to the Brazilian educational system, the situation and the precariousness of teaching sociology in high schools in Brazil, the historical issues, and economic policies in Joinville, as well as available data by the Education Department, identify what are the biggest problems faced by sociology teachers who work in state schools in Joinville. Finally we point out some ways that can contribute to building an educational system more critical, and reflective quality that enhances the teaching profession

“The interviews were transcribed”, but how? Reflections on management research

Purpose – In qualitative research, it is recurrent to conduct data collection through interviews, which must be first transcribed for the data to be analyzed. Although there is a relationship between the stages of the interview and the data analysis, the link between them (i.e. the transcription) seems to be a neglected methodological procedure. This occurs because, in papers, it is generally reported that “the interviews were transcribed”, without any details about the transcriptions conduction. From this methodological gap, this paper aims to discuss the relevance of detailing the methodological procedures adopted in the transcription in research reports in the management field. Design/methodology/approach – This paper takes the form of a methodological essay. Findings – The discussion focuses on the concepts of naturalized and denaturalized transcription, the relevance of adopting transcription norms and the need for reflexivity in conducting transcriptions – elements that must be explained in research reports to improve the methodological quality. Practical implications – This paper explores methodological details that management students and researchers can adopt when performing transcriptions. Consequently, journal editors and reviewers will have more subsidies on the methodological quality employed in researches, which contributes to a better evaluation process. Originality/value – This study demonstrates the relevance of a neglected methodological technique – transcription, which needs to be detailed in research reports, to contribute to the increase of methodological accuracy and to provide essential information to readers, allowing them to evaluate the rigor of the research. Thus, it is proposed that transcription should be considered a quality criterion in qualitative research

Estudos culturais e estudos descoloniais: diálogos e rupturas na construção de uma pesquisa de recepção

This article discusses the possibilitie of building a reception research with use of articulation between cultural studies and decolonial studies. Based on the fact that reception studies are intrinsically related to cultural studies, and that the latter has received criticism by decolonial authors, this study proposes the creation of a reception research inspired by decolonial studies.Este artigo discute a possibilidade de construção de uma pesquisa de recepção por meio da articulação entre os estudos culturais e os estudos descoloniais. A partir da constatação de que os estudos de recepção estão intrinsecamente relacionados aos estudos culturais e que esta última tradição de estudos tem recebido críticas por autores descoloniais, propõe-se a construção de uma pesquisa de recepção inspirada nos estudos descoloniais

Pappus-Guldin theorems applied the study of solid modeling with GeoGebra software

In this work, we use Geogebra software to simulate the shape of objects (solids) in three dimensions from their photo and real dimensions using spline interpolation. With the reconstructed object, we analyze its volume and surface area using the Pappus-Guldin Theorems (PGT), the theorems that use mathematical analysis ideas to describe the volume and surface area by the sectional area and by the contour curve of the object. In the simulations, we tested the verification of the modeling for known solids (sphere and torus) and then analyzed some objects used in the industry, such as the packaging of products, pet bottles, yogurt containers, coffee powder packaging, aluminum soda cans, and the packaging of chocolate powder. We also analyzed some objects created by rotating bodies, such as the shape of a jar and an aluminum barrel, and also shapes found in nature, such as the shape of a pear and an egg. Modeling allows us to better understand the packaging used in the industry to minimize manufacturing costs and maximize its utility. Formação continuada de professores de educação física na perspectiva da inclusão

Procura responder ao objetivo de compreender as implicações de uma ação de formação continuada na prática pedagógica dos professores de Educação Física no processo de inclusão. A partir do projeto de extensão intitulado Formação Continuada de Professores de Educação Física para a Educação Inclusiva, foi criado um grupo de estudo, que denominamos Grupo Operativo de Formação (GOF). A ação de formação continuada contou com uma única turma, no período de fevereiro a junho de 2011, em um encontro presencial semanal, totalizando 20 encontros, com uma carga horária final de 120h. Participaram da ação de formação sete professores no início das atividades e se firmaram com quatro professores até o final do processo. A pesquisa se baseou nos pressupostos da pesquisa-ação crítico-colaborativa, utilizando como instrumentos e procedimentos de coleta de dados: a narrativa, o diário de campo e a entrevista. Da análise dos dados foram identificadas quatro categorias norteadoras das discussões: a) a formação dos professores em discussão; b) práticas pedagógicas inclusivas: refletindo o papel docente na Educação Física; c) prática político-pedagógica e a legitimação da Educação Física; d) percepção dos professores sobre o processo de formação experimentado no GOF. Os professores registraram considerações significativas que sustentam mudanças incrementais em sua atividade docente e transformação na concepção e atitude em relação às práticas de inclusão. Os resultados apontaram, por um lado, a dificuldade revelada por alguns professores de Educação Física em compreender o que é a inclusão de alunos com deficiência nas aulas, como realizar a intervenção, como organizar ambientes de aprendizagem em que todos os alunos possam aprender no mesmo espaço-tempo. E por outro lado, põem em evidência a importância desse tipo de ação de formação, em que, na companhia de seus colegas de trabalho, permita maior troca de experiência, estimula a prática reflexiva e, colabora para que o professor encontre respostas às suas reais necessidades.We try to answer which the implications of an action of continued formation to/in pedagogical practice of the professors of physical education in the inclusion process. To form the professors participants group was organized a extension project entitled for “Continued Formation of Professors of Physical Education for the Inclusive Education”, with the objective to originate the Operative Group of Formation (GOF). The action of formation continued has only a class, in the period of february until june in 2011, in a weekly reunion, with 20 meetings, and totalfinal hours of 120. The formation meeting had counted at the beginning with seven professors on the activities and it firmed with four professors until the end of the process. We adopt as main methodological way, the use of some elements of theory of the research-action pointing with respect to perspective of the critical research-action. We use as instruments and procedures of collection of data the resources technician: narrative, daily of field and interview. We analyze four categories - the formation of the professors in quarrel; practical pedagogical inclusive: reflecting the teaching paper in the physical education; practical politic-pedagogical and the confirmation of the physical education; perception of the professors on the process of formation tried in the GOF - that they had guided the quarrel in the present study. To the end of the process we evidence that this action of formation, when articulated with the professors, it estimates better answers to the real necessities of them. We undertake an action of continued formation of professors of physical education where the referring demands and necessities to the inclusive education had been heard and argued, having for base the reflexive practical, in which the participants, collectively and collaboravely, could produce a different one to look at, a direction differentiated on its reality, generating incremental changes, valuing its to know/to make

Recrutamento e seleção: estudo de caso em uma autarquia Federal no Distrito Federal

A sociedade capitalista e globalizada resulta em mudanças na economia, nas pessoas, na tecnologia e, consequentemente, nas organizações. A gestão de pessoas passa a exercer um papel estratégico na formulação de diferencial para que as empresas possam gerir da melhor maneira o capital humano. Este artigo aborda a temática de recrutamento e seleção de talentos como estratégia das empresas que, juntamente com os demais subsistemas do departamento de Recursos Humanos, auxilia no levantamento das competências necessárias para os cargos e funções disponíveis. Assim, o objetivo geral do artigo foi analisar o processo de recrutamento e seleção de uma autarquia federal localizada no DF, indicando as possibilidades de melhoria com vistas a ampliar os resultados operacionais envolvidos. O estudo foi uma pesquisa com caráter descritivo. O resultado caracterizou o processo de recrutamento e seleção adotado em uma autarquia federal. Por fim, o trabalho abordou fatores que colaboram com este processo e foi destacado o aspecto da utilização de novas práticas, como a indicação, recrutamento online e as dinâmicas de grupo, concluindo como uma maior praticidade no processo seletivo bem como economia, agilidade e maior conhecimento dos candidatos classificados
