Eclipsing high-mass binaries I. Light curves and system parameters for CPD-518946, PISMIS24-1 and HD319702
We present first results of a comprehensive photometric O-star survey
performed with a robotic twin refractor at the Universit\"atssternwarte Bochum
located near Cerro Armazones in Chile. For three high-mass stars, namely
Pismis24-1, CPD-518946 and HD319702, we determined the period through the
Lafler-Kinman algorithm and model the light curves within the framework of the
Roche geometry. For Pismis24-1, a previously known eclipsing binary, we provide
first light curves and determined a photometric period of 2.36 days together
with an orbital inclination of 61.8 degrees. The best-fitting model solution to
the light curves suggest a detached configuration. With a primary temperature
of T1 = 42520K we obtain the temperature of the secondary component as T2 =
41500K. CPD-518946 is another known eclipsing binary for which we present a
revised photometric period of 1.96 days with an orbital inclination of 58.4
degrees. The system has likely a semi-detached configuration and a mass ratio q
= M1/M2 = 2.8. If we adopt a primary temperature of T1 = 34550K we obtain T2 =
21500K for the secondary component. HD319702 is a newly discovered eclipsing
binary member of the young open cluster NGC6334. The system shows well-defined
eclipses favouring a detached configuration with a period of 2.0 days and an
orbital inclination of 67.5 degrees. Combining our photometric result with the
primary spectral type O8 III(f) (T1 = 34000K) we derive a temperature of T2 =

Determination of the Properties of Composite Materials Thanks to Digital Image Correlation Measurements
AbstractDesigning composite structures for civil aircrafts necessitates a better understanding of the damage and failure mechanisms occurring in these components through experimental test campaigns and associated numerical simulations. These experimental tests have been performed at Onera using different classical measurement techniques (LVDT sensor, strain gauges…) and digital image correlation (DIC). The additional information provided by DIC allows (i) to validate the boundary conditions of the tests, (ii) to cross-check the measurements with other techniques, (iii) to improve the understanding of the physical mechanisms and (iv) to validate the predictions of the finite element simulations

Simulador de Técnicas de Depuração Extra-Renal/Hemofiltração: Uso da Simulação para Treino no Manuseamento deste Dispositivo
Introdução: A simulação possibilita o ensino e treino de técnicas de suporte de vida complexas sem riscos para o doente. Até ao momento, as únicas opções de treino no manuseamento de terapêuticas de depuração extra-renal contínua (TDEC) eram a aprendizagem directa em doentes submetidos a esta técnica ou mediante observação dos efeitos da manipulação do circuito não conectado ao doente. Por este motivo foi elaborado um simulador de TDEC, usado em cursos de simulação realizados para treino de equipas de cuidados intensivos pediátricos (UCIP).
Objectivos: Analisar a performance e utilidade de um novo simulador que possibilita o controlo externo do dispositivo de TDEC, simulando "in situ" cenários que mimetizam condições de doentes tratados com TDEC.
Métodos: Foi criado um dispositivo que, uma vez conectado ao aparelho de TDEC, permite o controlo em tempo real de todas as pressões de hemofiltração, de acordo com as condições clínicas e acções dos participantes. Foram simulados diversos cenários e complicações possíveis em doentes submetidos a estas técnicas e avaliada a performance deste dispositivo "in vitro". A satisfação dos participantes foi avaliada mediante a aplicação de um inquérito.
Resultados: Foram realizados 4 cursos de TDEC de Maio de 2009 a Março de 2012. Incluídos 60 participantes, todos com experiência clínica prévia em UCIP. Realizados 32 cenários, abrangendo complicações relacionados com o cateter, coagulação dos filtros e ajuste inadequado dos parâmetros de hemofiltração. Nos cenários simulados, o dispositivo simulador permitiu, em tempo real, mudanças simples e rápidas nas pressões do monitor de TDEC e em resposta às atitudes tomadas pelos participantes para a sua resolução. Não foram registadas intercorrências relacionadas com disfunção do dispositivo.
Os participantes consideraram-no muito útil como ferramenta de aprendizagem activa, permitindo uma gestão realista das condições clínicas simuladas, com potencial impacto sobre a sua futura prática diária. Os instrutores consideraram-no fácil de manusear e realista.
Conclusões: Este simulador permite uma simulação mais fidedigna dos cenários de TDEC, resolvendo o problema da interferência do instrutor no cenário simulado. Este poderia melhorar as capacidades dos simuladores de alta fidelidade disponíveis e utilizar-se como uma ferramenta docente na formação de profissionais de saúde
The broad-line region and dust torus size of the Seyfert 1 galaxy PGC50427
We present the results of a three years monitoring campaigns of the type-1 active galactic nucleus (AGN) PGC50427. Through the use of
Photometric Reverberation Mapping with broad and narrow band filters, we
determine the size of the broad-line emitting region by measuring the time
delay between the variability of the continuum and the H emission line.
The H emission line responds to blue continuum variations with an
average rest frame lag of days. Using single epoch spectroscopy
we determined a broad-line H velocity width of 1020 km s and in
combination with the rest frame lag and adoption a geometric scaling factor , we calculate a black hole mass of . Using the flux variation gradient method, we separate the host
galaxy contribution from that of the AGN to calculate the rest frame 5100\AA~
luminosity at the time of our monitoring campaign. The rest frame lag and the
host-subtracted luminosity permit us to derive the position of PGC50427 in the
BLR size -- AGN luminosity diagram, which is remarkably close to the
theoretically expected relation of . The simultaneous
optical and NIR ( and ) observations allow us to determine the size
of the dust torus through the use of dust reverberation mapping method. We find
that the hot dust emission () lags the optical variations with an
average rest frame lag of days. The dust reverberation radius
and the nuclear NIR luminosity permit us to derive the position of PGC50427 on
the known diagram. The simultaneus observations for the
broad-line region and dust thermal emission demonstrate that the innermost dust
torus is located outside the BLR in PGC50427, supporting the unified scheme for

Quantifying the Re-identification Risk of Event Logs for Process Mining
Event logs recorded during the execution of business processes constitute a
valuable source of information. Applying process mining techniques to them,
event logs may reveal the actual process execution and enable reasoning on
quantitative or qualitative process properties. However, event logs often
contain sensitive information that could be related to individual process
stakeholders through background information and cross-correlation. We therefore
argue that, when publishing event logs, the risk of such re-identification
attacks must be considered. In this paper, we show how to quantify the
re-identification risk with measures for the individual uniqueness in event
logs. We also report on a large-scale study that explored the individual
uniqueness in a collection of publicly available event logs. Our results
suggest that potentially up to all of the cases in an event log may be
re-identified, which highlights the importance of privacy-preserving techniques

The identity of Zachaenus roseus Cope, 1890 (Anura: species inquirenda)
Zachaenus roseus Cope, 1890, has puzzled systematists working in southern South America. A single individual, the holotype, has ever been collected and this specimen is in extremely poor preservation condition. Herein, the precise location of the type locality of Z. roseus is determined based on a historical review of the literature. Furthermore, following a careful comparison with all species that inhabit the southern austral forest, and that could potentially correspond to Zachaenus roseus, we conclude that this taxon is placed in the synonym of Eupsophus calcaratus (Günther, 1881).Fil: Lavilla, Esteban Orlando.
