    Measurement of tensor analyzing powers in deuteron photodisintegration

    New accurate measurement of tensor analyzing powers T20, T21 and T22 in deuteron photodisintegration has been performed. Wide-aperture non-magnetic detectors allowed to cover broad kinematic ranges in a single setup: photon energy = 25 to 600 MeV, proton emission angle in CM = 24 to 48 deg. and 70 to 102 deg. New data provide a significant improvement of a few existing measurements. The angular dependency of the tensor asymmetries in deuteron photodisintegration is extracted for the first time.Comment: 4 pages, 5 figures, submitted to Phys. Rev. Let

    Influence of the composition on the thermoelectric and electro-physical properties of Ge-Sb-Te thin films for phase change memory application

    Influence of the composition variation along the quasi-binary line GeTe-Sb2Te3 on the thermoelectric and electro-physical properties of thin films was investigated. GST amorphous thin films have high Seebeck coefficients, which drops nearly on the order of magnitude after the crystallization. Temperature dependences of the resistivities were studied, and it was determined that crystallization temperature increases with moving along the quasi-binary line GeTe-Sb2Te3 from GeSb4Te7 to GeSb2Te4, and then to Ge2Sb2Te5, while the phase transition temperature range decreases.     Introduction. The effectiveness of the professional activity of civil servants depends on many factors. At the internal level, we are talking about competencies and professionally (psychologically) important qualities of a person. A significant role in this is played by personality qualities that affect the performance, psychological health of a specialist. In this series, the properties of the emotional-volitional sphere of the individual are particularly distinguished, since the profession of a civil servant is part of the "man – man" system, which is characterized by the phenomenon of emotional burnout.Purpose setting. Hence, the study of internal predictors of emotional burnout of civil servants is quite an urgent problem.Methods and methodology of the study. The methodological basis of the study was the provisions on the biosocial essence of a person, his development and self-development, professional growth, as well as stress resistance. The study was based on the axiological and activity approaches. Theoretical and methodological analysis of literary sources, generalization, analysis, comparison, and systematization of the obtained empirical and theoretical data were used as the leading research methods. A testing method was used to collect empirical data. As specific methods, the method for determining the personal anxiety of C. D. Spielberger in the adaptation of Y. L. Khanin, the questionnaire for the study of emotional burnout of K. Maslach, S. Jackson in the adaptation of N. E. Vodopyanova, the method of studying the vitality of S. Maddi in the adaptation of D. A. Leontiev were used. Results. The article provides data on the relationship of personal anxiety, resilience and susceptibility of civil servants to emotional burnout.Conclusion. Conclusions are drawn about the need for preventive measures to prevent unfavorable emotional states in civil servants and to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of their professional activities.Введение. Эффективность профессиональной деятельности государственных служащих зависит от многих факторов. На внутреннем уровне речь идет о компетенциях и профессионально (психологически) важных качествах личности. Значительную роль при этом играют качества личности, влияющие на работоспособность, психологическое здоровье специалиста. В этом ряду особенно выделяются свойства эмоционально-волевой сферы личности, так как профессия государственного служащего входит в систему «человек – человек», которой свойственен феномен эмоционального выгорания.Постановка задачи. Отсюда изучение внутренних предикторов эмоционального выгорания государственных служащих является насущной проблемой.Методика и методология исследования. Методологическую основу исследования составили положения о биосоциальной сущности человека, его развитии и саморазвитии, профессиональном росте, а также о стрессоустойчивости. В основу исследования положены аксиологический и деятельностный подходы. В качестве ведущих методов исследования использованы теоретико-методологический анализ литературных источников, обобщение, анализ, сравнение, и систематизация полученных эмпирических и теоретических данных. Для сбора эмпирических данных применен метод тестирования. В качестве конкретных методик использовались методика для определения личностной тревожности Ч. Д. Спилбергера в адаптации Ю. Л. Ханина, опросник изучения эмоционального выгорания К. Маслач, С. Джексона в адаптации Н. Е. Водопьяновой, методика изучения жизнестойкости С. Мадди в адаптации Д. А. Леонтьева.Результаты. В статье приводятся данные о взаимосвязи личностной тревожности, жизнестойкости и подверженности государственных служащих эмоциональному выгоранию.Выводы. Делаются выводы о необходимости осуществления профилактических мероприятий с целью предупреждения неблагоприятных эмоциональных состояний у государственных служащих и обеспечения эффективности и результативности их профессиональной деятельности

    RELEVANCE. The increasing availability of invasive methods for assessing the coronary vessels contributes to the growth in the diagnosis of myocardial damage in intact coronary arteries. One of the least studied diseases that mimic the course of myocardial infarction is Takotsubo syndrome, which quite often remains undiagnosed in real clinical practice. The medical and economic significance of this disease is determined by the high risk of developing life-threatening complications and the need to provide emergency specialized medical care.AIM OF STUDY. The paper presents an analytical review of scientific medical literature from the perspective of illustrating modern concepts of the most common risk factors, etiopathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of Takotsubo syndrome. A clinical observation of a patient with verified secondary Takotsubo syndrome against a malignant neoplasm of the kidney is also presented.CONCLUSIONS. For a detailed understanding of the potential mechanisms for the development of Takotsubo syndrome, determining the most informative methods for its diagnosis, developing effective strategies for providing medical care and criteria for long-term prognosis, further large-scale studies are needed. Raising the level of awareness of doctors about Takotsubo syndrome, in turn, will allow timely detection of this disease, which will improve the prognosis for patients and minimize the economic costs of treatment. The exclusion of the possibility of overdiagnosis will also help determine the true prevalence of this disease.АКТУАЛЬНОСТЬ. Возрастающая доступность инвазивных методик оценки коронарного русла способствует увеличению случаев диагностики повреждений миокарда при интактных коронарных артериях. Одним из наименее изученных заболеваний, имитирующих течение инфаркта миокарда, является синдром Такоцубо (СТ), который в реальной клинической практике довольно часто остается недиагностированным. Медико-экономическое значение данного заболевания определяется высоким риском развития жизнеугрожающих осложнений и необходимостью оказания экстренной специализированной медицинской помощи.ЦЕЛЬ ИССЛЕДОВАНИЯ. В работе представлен аналитический обзор научной медицинской литературы с позиций иллюстрации современных представлений о наиболее распространенных факторах риска, этиопатогенезе, диагностике и лечении СТ. Также приведено клиническое наблюдение пациентки с верифицированным вторичным СТ на фоне злокачественного новообразования почки.ВЫВОДЫ. Для детального понимания потенциальных механизмов развития СТ, определения наиболее информативных методов его диагностики, разработки эффективных стратегий оказания медицинской помощи и критериев отдаленного прогноза необходимы дальнейшие масштабные исследования. Повышение уровня информированности врачей о СТ, в свою очередь, позволит своевременно выявлять данное заболевание, что улучшит прогноз для пациентов и позволит минимизировать экономические затраты на лечение. Исключение возможности гипердиагностики также будет способствовать определению истинной распространенности данного заболевания

    Molecular modeling of a tandem two pore domain potassium channel reveals a putative binding Site for general anesthetics

    [Image: see text] Anesthetics are thought to mediate a portion of their activity via binding to and modulation of potassium channels. In particular, tandem pore potassium channels (K2P) are transmembrane ion channels whose current is modulated by the presence of general anesthetics and whose genetic absence has been shown to confer a level of anesthetic resistance. While the exact molecular structure of all K2P forms remains unknown, significant progress has been made toward understanding their structure and interactions with anesthetics via the methods of molecular modeling, coupled with the recently released higher resolution structures of homologous potassium channels to act as templates. Such models reveal the convergence of amino acid regions that are known to modulate anesthetic activity onto a common three- dimensional cavity that forms a putative anesthetic binding site. The model successfully predicts additional important residues that are also involved in the putative binding site as validated by the results of suggested experimental mutations. Such a model can now be used to further predict other amino acid residues that may be intimately involved in the target-based structure–activity relationships that are necessary for anesthetic binding

    Results of Epizootiological Monitoring of Natural Foci for Bacterial Vector-Borne Infections in Caucasian Mineral Waters Region of the Stavropol Territory in 2018–2020

    The aim of the study was to assess the epizootiological situation on bacterial vector-borne infections in Caucasian Mineral Waters area of the Stavropol Territory over the period of 2018–2020.Materials and methods. 3494 specimens of ticks (473 pools), 257 specimens of small mammals, 9 regurgitates of birds of prey and mammals, 7 excreta samples of small mammals, and 2 water samples were tested. Laboratory research of the field material was carried out using molecular-genetic, serological, biological methods. Statistical analysis of laboratory results was conducted using Microsoft Excel 2010. The data were mapped using QGIS 2.18 software.Results and discussion. The study revealed that the 44.8 % of collected ticks were positive for tick-borne borreliosis, 21.5 % – for tick-borne rickettsiosis, 10.3% – for human granulocytic anaplasmosis, 2.7 % – for Q fever, 0.84 % – for tularemia. There has been an increase in the percentage of positives for tick-borne borreliosis agent samples (more than three times) and a decrease in this indicator for human granulocytic anaplasmosis (1.5 times) as compared with 2010–2012. Investigation of tick infection with the agents of Q fever and tick-borne rickettsioses has not been previously conducted in the region. During the period under review, 19 pools of ticks had mixed infection, which indicates that there are combined foci of bacterial natural-focal infections with vector-borne transmission in the recreation zone of the Stavropol Territory. This necessitates preventive measures and systematical epizootiological surveys in the Caucasian Mineral Waters region
