Lingo-cultural interpretation of sacred phytonyms with clear inner form
Linguistics is full of cultural and historic content as language is both the basis and product of culture. Language being a means of communication, helps to get knowledge about the world, culture, mentality of certain people. Approach to the language from the point of view of sacred phytonyms makes it possible to study the character of paralogical thinking and gives a view of a naΓ―ve world picture. Sacred phytonymy deals with names of plants, having healing effect, a well as those which are connected with names of saints (positive characteristic) and evil (negative characteristic).Π―Π·ΡΠΊΠΎΠ·Π½Π°Π½ΠΈΠ΅ ΠΏΡΠΎΠ½ΠΈΠ·Π°Π½ΠΎ ΠΊΡΠ»ΡΡΡΡΠ½ΠΎ-ΠΈΡΡΠΎΡΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΈΠΌ ΡΠΎΠ΄Π΅ΡΠΆΠ°Π½ΠΈΠ΅ΠΌ, ΠΏΠΎΡΠΊΠΎΠ»ΡΠΊΡ ΡΠ·ΡΠΊ β ΠΎΡΠ½ΠΎΠ²Π° ΠΈ ΠΏΡΠΎΠ΄ΡΠΊΡ ΠΊΡΠ»ΡΡΡΡΡ. New Nanomaterials and Luminescent Optical Sensors for Detection of Hydrogen Peroxide
Accurate methods that can continuously detect low concentrations of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) have a huge application potential in biological, pharmaceutical, clinical and environmental analysis. Luminescent probes and nanomaterials are used for fabrication of sensors for H2O2 that can be applied for these purposes. In contrast to previous reviews focusing on the chemical design of molecular probes for H2O2, this mini-review highlights the latest luminescent nanoparticular materials and new luminescent optical sensors for H2O2 in terms of the nanomaterial composition and luminescent receptor used in the sensors. The nanomaterial section is subdivided into schemes based on gold nanoparticles, polymeric nanoparticles with embedded enzymes, probes showing aggregation-induced emission enhancement, quantum dots, lanthanide-based nanoparticles and carbon based nanomaterials, respectively. Moreover, the sensors are ordered according to the type of luminescent receptor used within the sensor membranes. Among them are lanthanide complexes, metal-ligand complexes, oxidic nanoparticles and organic dyes. Further, the optical sensors are confined to those that are capable to monitor the concentration of H2O2 in a sample over time or are reusable. Optical sensors responding to gaseous H2O2 are not covered. All nanomaterials and sensors are characterized with respect to the analytical reaction towards H2O2, limit of detection (LOD), analytical range, electrolyte, pH and response time/incubation time. Applications to real samples are given. Finally, we assess the suitability of the nanomaterials to be used in membrane-based sensors and discuss future trends and perspectives of these sensors in biomedical research
Advancing Teaching Mathematics in Students at Universities of Economics for Sustainable Development
The article is devoted to the advanced nature of education for sustainable development. The research urgency is caused by necessity of formation of strategy of education for sustainable development in Russian higher education. A review of the most important international documents is made (Strategy of European Economic Commission of the UN of education for sustainable development, Global action programme on ESD, Incheon Declaration of βEducation-2030,β Program of sustainable development for the period till 2030, etc.), allowing to concretize the principles of education for sustainable development. Special attention is paid to the principle of advancing training in terms of organization of training in mathematics at the University of Economics. As a means of implementing the principle of advancing teaching of mathematics it is proposed to use the method of mathematical modelling as a promising direction of research and problem solving in the economic sphere of activities in favour of sustainable development. The author noted the importance of the ability to build and use mathematical models to describe and predict real processes, which in turn, demonstrates the possibility of forming a transformative intelligence as readiness for integrated use of intuition, logical thinking and quantitative assessments to develop the skills of creative solutions to life and professional problems in the conditions of variability and uncertainty
Investigation of exchange reactions between alkaline earth metal oxides and some transition metal halides
DTA and the simultaneous recording of electrical conductivity were applied for the investigation of exchange reactions between alkaline earth metal oxides and some lead, copper and nickel halides. Although the possibility of the gaseous phase is not excluded for the majority of the reactions investigated, it is either the appearance of a liquid phase or the polymorphous transformation of CaO that has the decisive effect on the interaction mechanism. Humanization of the learning environment β 2022: Results of the international forum
The results of the International Forum βHumanization of the Learning Environmentβ have been summed up. The Forum was held on March 1-2, 2022. Saratov State University hosted it. The purpose of the Forum was to identify and discuss the role of a young teacher in the transformation of the educational system
The application of simultaneous recording of electrical conductivity and DTA in the study of binary and ternary salt systems
The advantages of the simultaneous recording of electrical conductivity curve and DTA curves in the investigation of salt mixtures is demonstrated on a number of examples. With sufficiently slow recording, at a heating rate of 5-10Β°/min, all the changes occurring in the mixture investigated, and connected with the differing electrical conductivities of the different phases which appear and disappear in the process of heating or cooling, are well reflected on the electrical conductivity curve. Investigation of reactions in solids by DTA
Reactions in mixtures of solid alkali metal sulphates with barium chloride were investigated by DTA. The decisive role of an intermediate liquid was demonstrated. It was established that the application of DTA with simultaneous recording of electrical conductivity in the investigation of the mechanism of interaction of mechanical non-equilibrium mixtures of anhydrous salts leads to data on the transitory existence of a labile eutectic, which to a certain extent affects the course of the reactions of the mixtures of solids. Automated Information Systems as a New Approach to Risk Management of Pharmacotherapy in the Treatment of Epilepsy
Epilepsy is a fairly common disease which challenges social life, therefore the use of information systems and software to support patients with epilepsy is a promising trend in electronic and mobile medicine.Β The aim of the study was to analyse data on the existing information systems, devices, and mobile applications used to support patients with epilepsy and control risks associated with pharmacotherapy, and to assess the prospects for the development of information systems to support patients with epilepsy. The results of an advanced search and systematisation of literature and Internet data suggest a high demand for mobile and e-health. Mobile applications for patients with epilepsy have a large share of e-health tools. The applications help to monitor seizures, record the frequency of taking medications, receive advice on emergency treatment of seizures, adjust the dosage regimen, and, in general, help to reduce the risks of anticonvulsant therapy, increase patient compliance and the competence of the participants in the treatment process. The analysis of the convenience and functionality of the foreign-produced mobile applications: Epilepsy Journal, Seizure Tracker, Helpilepsy, Seizure First Aide, did not reveal any significant differences between them. The following shortcomings of the mobile applications were identified: lack of Russian language support (except Epilepsy Journal), lack of advertisement blocking options in free applications, incomplete use of video recording capabilities and location-based systems. Global trends in the development of mobile medicine suggest the need for Russian-produced software that would address the identified shortcomings of the existing foreign applications and help support patients with epilepsy
