    Hunting For Metamorphic JavaScript Malware

    Get PDF
Internet plays a major role in the propagation of malware. A recent trend is the infection of machines through web pages, often due to malicious code inserted in JavaScript. From the malware writer’s perspective, one potential advantage of JavaScript is that powerful code obfuscation techniques can be applied to evade de- tection. In this research, we analyze metamorphic JavaScript malware. We compare the effectiveness of several static detection strategies and we quantify the degree of morphing required to defeat each of these techniques

Pregnancy with cardiac disease: a retrospective five year study in a teaching hospital

Background: Prevalence of heart disease in pregnancy is found to vary between 0.3%-3.5%. Heart disease is one of the 3 major indirect causes of maternal mortality in India. Methods: This is a retrospective study conducted in department of OBG, Mandya Institute of Medical Science, India.   Mandya for a period of five years from January 2011 to December 2015.All cases of cardiac disease during pregnancy admitted during this period will be included in the study. All case records will be obtained from medical record section and carefully analysed to find out the incidence, various types of cardiac diseases, its relation with respect to duration of pregnancy and its outcome in relation to mode of delivery, birth weight, maternal and perinatal morbidity. Results: Cardiac disease was more commonly present among Primigravida (53.8%) which correlates with the study conducted Mahesh et al (52.7%). Rheumatic heart disease (RHD) was the commonest cardiac lesion, which was also found to be the major form of heart disease in various studies. Mitral stenosis (38.6%) is the most common RHD .65.3% (34 cases) was delivered by vaginal route and 34.6% (18 cases) were delivered by LSCS.Conclusions: Thus good antenatal care including more frequent antenatal check-up, educating the patient regarding the various complications and taking the physician help during antepartum or intrapartum or postpartum period will definitely reduce the maternal complications associated with it

    Startup Culture Analysis: Crowdfunding Reimagined

For generations, startup founders have had to dawdle around angel investors & so called investing sharks to raise founding capital for their big idea. For most times, the startup founders have had to compromise a heavy percentage of company ownership in return for equity funding. Their only option around this has been to raise capital through crowdfunding. However, the complexity revolving around crowdfunding is as tedious as the company plan itself. We tackle this with a reimagined lens of crowdfunding. We introduce a new way for the upcoming startups to gather founding capital by introducing the concept of stake trading. For the first time in financial history, our platform allows investors to TRADE their STAKE prior to the startup going public, just like trading stocks. In preliminary stage, we plan on listing one startup each week, meaning a one-week window to invest into the company, and you could endlessly trade its stake in the coming future. By introducing this concept we will analyze the growth in the number of startups in the Treasure Valley

Background: exclusive breast feeding practice is major pillar in preventing infant mortality. This study was undertaken to know the knowledge and attitude of antenatal mothers towards breast feeding. Methods: this is a cross sectional study in our hospital in which 264 antenatal mothers were included after verbal consent. Antenatal mothers were explained about the study, their knowledge and attitude regarding breast feeding is assessed by questionnaire. Study will be analysed by appropriate statistical analysis. Results: In total of 264 antenatal mothers, most of them were between 20-25 years, majority in third trimester. Among them 68.2% knows breast feeding should be initiated within first hour of delivery, 90.2% is for no prelacteal feeds and 95.8% wants to feed colostrum. Only 42.4% wants to continue breastfeeding for two years. About 62.9% of antenatal mothers wants to supplement the child with food after six months.81.8% knows breast feeding is not only helpful to the baby but also it prevents breast cancer in mother later in life. 21.2% wants to feed complimentary feeds as early as 3 months. Conclusions: our study on knowledge  of  breast feeding among antenatal mothers shown most of  them are against prelacteal feeds and wants to feed colostrums, but initiation of breast feeding within first hour of birth and weaning after six months and continuation of breast milk up to two years is lagging. Multiple educational sessions, visual aids, pamphlets, electronic media, counseling during antenatal period and in early post natal period is necessary to inculcate appropriate knowledge on breast feeding

A five year study of maternal mortality in Mandya district, Karnataka, India

Background: Maternal mortality is a quality health care of that area. We planned a study on maternal mortality ratio (MMR) to understand the causes leading to maternal mortality in Mandya district, Karnataka, India after the introduction of national rural health scheme in past five years. Methods: It is a retrospective analysis of case records. We collected records of MMR occurred from Jan 2011 to Dec 2015 over a period of five years from district health office. Results: MMR from Jan 2011 to Dec 2015 is 38.25/lakh live births the same was 106.9 (in 2001-05) and 95.89 (2006-10). MMR commonly seen between 20-29years and most of them died within 24 hours of admission. Post-partum haemorrage (PPH), eclampsia and amniotic embolism are still the leading causes, anaemia plays a major role (10% direct and 37.5% indirect cause) of maternal mortality. Conclusions: Introduction of NRHM certainly helped to reduce MMR in our district. MMR by Anaemia, PPH and eclampsia are largely preventable on early recognition and aggressive treatment by skilled birth attendants.

The scaling of Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor (MOSFET) are commonly used in high speed integrated circuits, yield smaller and faster more functions at lower cost. Various problems exist with scaling of MOSFET devices i.e. short channel effects (SCE), drain induced barrier lowering, velocity saturation which limits the performance of MOSFETs. Scaling limitations of MOSFET devices leads to lower ON to OFF current ratio limited by 60mV/dec sub threshold slope.A new type of device called “Tunnel FET” is used to overcome these difficulties. TFET can beat 60mV/dec sub-threshold swing of MOSFETs. In Tunnel FET the carrier are generated by band-to-band tunneling and OFF current is low. Tunnel FET have energy barrier in OFF state, which avoids application where leakage is concern of interest. In this Project sub-threshold swing and low OFF current is simulated and its power is analyzed.Basically in VLSI circuit like design of IC we have to simulate all the parameters of the devices & circuit regarding of that IC or any devices like FET, MOSFET, CMOS etc. In device simulation we are most widely use software named as “HSPICE”. We are doing analysis of full bit adder. We are going to compare different characteristics
