A Tablet Screen Cast Receiver for Classroom with Low End Android Devices

Salah satu aktivitas menggunakan tablet adalah presentasi. Saat ini, kebanyakan aktivitas presentasi dilakukan menggunakan adapter VGA untuk bisa tersambung dengan LCD Proyektor. Konfigurasi ini memungkin presentasi berbasis kabel. Dan ini adalah hal yang menyulitkan penggunaannya untuk perangkat tablet yang memiliki sifat mobilitas tinggi. Beruntung, sudah ada banyak vendor yang menyediakan sistem presentasi yang bersahabat dengan membuatnya menjadi nirkabel. Tapi sistem tersebut hanya mendukung perangkat tablet high end. Pada makalah ini, kami mengajukan sebuah penerima tablet screen cast untuk perangkat tablet android low end. Yang memiliki potensi untuk diimplementasikan di kelas. Dari eksperimen, kami memperoleh hasil 9 FPS dengan delay sebesar 2 detik

Evaluation of a suitable material for soft actuator through experiments and FE Simulations

Soft actuators are generally built to achieve extension, contraction, curling, or bending motions needed for robotic or medical applications. It is prepared with a cylindrical tube, braided with fibers that restrict the radial motion and produce the extension, contraction, or bending. The actuation is achieved through the input of compressed air with a different pressure. The stiffness of the materials controls the magnitude of the actuation. In the present study, Silastic-P1 silicone RTV and multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) with reinforced silicone are considered for the evaluation. The dumbbell samples are prepared from both materials as per ASTM D412-06a (ISO 37) standard and their corresponding tensile strength, elongation at break, and tensile modulus are measured. The Ogden nonlinear material constants of respective materials are estimated and used further in the finite element analysis of extension, contraction, and bending soft actuators. It is observed that silicone RTV is better in high strain and fast response, whereas, silicone/MWCNT is better at achieving high actuation

This study aimed to analyze the movements and actors in the resistance movement of gold mining in the Pace village Subdistrict Silo, Jember regency. This research was using the Qualitative method include in-depth interviews and field in research studies,In addition collecting documents related to this research. This research had resulted, in finding the relationships between actors prone to be a trigger of conflict and led to the refusal movement made by the village community of Pace. Conflict of individuals who had an influence that made this conflict had became a mass conflict involving the community at large. Meantime, besides individual behalf, the state also had behalf for mining through PT Antam. The presence of the state in gold mining in the Pace village had become new chapter to the people who reject gold mining in the Pace village

Family Support and Glucose Control Related to Microvascular Complications Symptoms

Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease whose prevalence continues to increase. WHO predicts that diabetes will be 7 major diseases that will cause the death in 2030. Many people with diabetes are not aware of it so that they get complications. The increasing number of people with diabetes mellitus who develop complications because of the bad controlling of blood sugar levels and the lack of support from family. The Complications were observed in this study is microvascular complications. This study aims to analyze between family support and control blood sugar levels with the incidence of microvascular complications in the patients with symptoms of diabetes mellitus in the Community Health Center Jagir Surabaya.This research uses analytic observational study sample of patients with diabetes mellitus who had diabetes mellitus ≥ 5 years as many as 34 samples. The Sampling was done by the simple random sampling, while the data analysis was done by the Chi Square test.The results showed that there was no relationship between family support with symptoms of microvascular complications (p=0.069), but there is a relationship between the control of blood sugar levels with symptoms of microvascular complications (p=0.002).The Microvascular symptoms that are often experienced by people with diabetes mellitus in the Community Health Center Jagir is symptomatic neuropathy complications . The proportion of patients with diabetes mellitus who received family support at 55.9%, while the patients with diabetes mellitus who control the blood sugar levels well totaling 17 respondents. It is expected that people with diabetes mellitus to control eating diet and regular exercise

Sistem Kendali Lampu Jarak Jauh Berbasis Web

IoT (Internet of Things) merupakan suatu konsep yang bertujuan untuk memperluas manfaat dari konektivitas internet yang tersambung secara terus menerus. IoT (Internet of Things) bisa dimanfaatkan pada gedung untuk mengendalikan peralatan elektronik seperti lampu ruangan yang dapat dioperasikan dari jarak jauh melalui jaringan komputer. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membangun sebuah perangkat kendali jarak jauh yang memanfaatkan TCP/IP untuk melakukan proses kendali dalam jaringan lokal melalui web server yang di koneksikan ke dalam perangkat kendali jarak jauh. Pada system kontrol dan monitoring lampu ini, bekerja berdasarkan pusat pengontrolan yang dalam system ini adalah website. Jika lampu pada ruang kelas hidup maka didalam website akan menunjukkan kata ON dengan latar belakang berwarna hijau dan jika lampu pada ruang kelas mati maka didalam website akan menunjukan kata OFF dengan latar belakang berwarna merah. Hasil uji coba yang dilakukan terhadap semua fitur menunjukkan hasil sesuai harapan
