Preparasi Kitosan Dari Limbah Udang Windu dan Uji Penurunan Kolesterol pada Kelinci (Oryctolagus cuniculus) secara in vivo
The study was conducted to examined the effects of chitosan  on cholesterol rabbit under hypercholesterolemic condition. From 100 g chitin of shrimp produce 55 g chitosan. Total of twelve male rabbits were used for this research.Those rabbits were divided into three groups; (K-)) negative control group, (K+) positive (Hypercholesterolemic) group, which were high cholesterol diet for 7 weeks, P1 and P2 preventive groups , same with group B and supplemented with 5%, 10% chitosan suspension. The results showed that groups which supplemented of chitosan suspension has shown effects on prevent the level of cholesterol
Uji Aktivitas Ekstrak Kombinasi Rimpang Kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val.) dan Kurma (Phoenix dactylifera L) sebagai Antiinflamasi Secara In Vitro
Inflamasi adalah respon perlindungan normal terhadap cedera jaringan yang disebabkan oleh trauma fisik, bahan kimia berbahaya, atau agen mikrobiologi. Lisosom dapat mensekresi enzim yang dapat menginduksi terjadinya inflamasi. Membran lisosom analog dengan membran sel darah merah manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan potensi antiinflamasi dari ekstrak kombinasi rimpang kunyit (curcuma domestica val) dan kurma (Phoenix dactylifera L) ditinjau dari kemampuannya menstabilkan membran sel darah merah. Dengan metode stabilitas membran eritrosit. Penelitian dimulai dengan pengambilan darah dan dibuat suspensi sel darah merah. Suspensi sel darah merah dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok perlakuan yaitu kontrol negatif, kontrol positif (Natrium diklofenak), dan larutan uji dengan konsentrasi 50, 75, dan 100 ppm, kemudian di diamkan selama 30 menit dan disentrifuge. Supernatan diukur serapan dengan menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang 413 nm. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa konsentrasi 100 ppm memberikan persen inhibisi paling besar yaitu 65,64%. Dari hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi konsentrasi ekstrak, maka daya inflamasinya semakin bai

UV -Visible spectrophotometer. The results showed that the samples of the sappan wood 6% have the highest antioxidant
activity at a wavelength of 513.1 nm
FORMULASI SARI BUAH TOMAT VARIETAS APEL (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill Pyriforme) SEBAGAI KRIM MASKER
An research has been done about formulation of tomato essence (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill) as a Cream Mask by using variation concentration of nonionic emulgator (polysorbat 20 and sorbitan monostearic) that were formula A (concentration 4%), formula B (concentration 3%), and formula C (concentration 2%). There aim of investigation was to determine the Formulation which has an optimum stability. Stability evaluation has done by observation of organoleptic, creaming volume, dispersed globule, viscosity and yield value, and emulsion type determination before and after stress condition at 50C and 350C for 10 cycles. Observation’s result shown that there wasn’t change before and after stress condition of orgenoleptic, creaming volume, emulsion type, rheology type before and after stress condition. Statistic analyse result of parameter viscosity and yield value by means of random black design shown that formula B (concentration 3%) obtained apparent indifferent in dispersed globule, viscosity and yield value between before and after stress condition. The conclusion that cream mask has the most optimal stability is that by formula B (concentration 3%).Key Words : Formulation, Cream Mask, Tomato essenc
ANALISIS KADAR LOGAM BERAT TEMBAGA (Cu) DAN KADMIUM (Cd) PADA IKAN KAKAP (Lates calcalifer) ASAL TAKALAR SECARA SPEKTROFOTOMETRI SERAPAN ATOM
The analysis of Cuprum (Cu) and Cadmium (Cd) content had been done of Kakap fish (Lates calcalifer) in Tope Jawa and Satanga Island. This research aim to analyse and determine the quantity of Cuprum (Cu) and Cadnium (Cd) of Kakap fish (Lates calcalifer) by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). This research was done by dry destruction both types of the metal, then the result of destruction dissolved in acid. Its result then analysed qualitative by specific reaktan and analysed quantitative by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry of wavelength 324,8 nm for the Cuprum and 228,8 nm for the Cadmium. Penentuan Kadar Fenolik Total Ekstrak Etanol Daun Nilam (Pogostemon Cablin Benth.) Dengan Metode Spektrofotometri Uv-vis
One of the plants that is well known in the community and is used as a traditional medicine is patchouli (Pogostemon cablin Benth.). It contains essential oils, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, glycosides, terpenoids and steroids. The alcohol content, such as patchouli alcohol and its derivatives, phenol, and a group of terpenoids in patchouli oil has antibacterial activity. The aim at this research to determine the total phenolic condition the ethanol extract from the patchouli leaves. The extract obtained was analyzed ist content using UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The measurements were done at the maximum wavelength of 662,85 nm. The result showed that the total phenolic in patchouli leave is 327,84 mgGAE /gram of extract
ANALISIS KADAR FLAVONOID DAN FENOLIK TOTAL FRAKSI ETIL ASETAT DAUN KETEPENG CINA (Senna alata (L.) Roxb) DENGAN METODE SPEKTROFOTOMETRI UV-VISIBLE
Analysis of flavonoid and phenolic content of ethyl acetate fraction have done in chinese ketepeng leaves (Senna alata (L.) Roxb) using UV-Visible spectrophotometric method. This research aimed to analyzed of flavonoids and phenolic content of ethyl acetate fraction of chinese ketepeng leaves. Chinese ketepeng leaves were extracted using ethanol 96%, and then were partitioned using a liquid-liquid partition method of ethyl acetate to obtain ethyl acetate fraction. Flavonoid and phenolic content determined using UV-VIS spectrophotometric at 415 nm wavelength for flavonoid and 730 nm for phenolic. This research results showed that the flavonoid content of ethyl acetate fraction of chinese ketepeng leaves is 2,665 mgRE/g and phenolic content of ethyl acetate fraction of chinese ketepeng leaves is 3,729 mgRE/g
