The kalimalang highway is a connecting road between the city of Jakarta and Bekasi, the high mobility of passenger vehicles and goods is a problem of congestion that must be minimized. The volume of vehicles on the Kalimalang highway has increased quite high each year, but this has not been matched by growth in capacity. Therefore the government plants to build the Becakayu toll road to reduce congestion. This study aims to determine bottlenecks that occur due to the construction of an off-ramp on the Becakayu toll road, especially in section 2A, which is located on Jl. Veteran, while the location under review is the intersections affected by the construction of the off-ramp including the intersection of four signaling BCP, intersection of four signaling Veteran and Sarbini unsigned intersection, Data analysis in this study uses the MKJI 1997 method.  From this method displays the behavior of traffic, for signal intersections will display signal time, capacity, vehicle stopped ratio, queue length, and average delay and for unsignalized intersections will display capacity, average delay and queue opportunity. From the results of this study it was found that the signaled intersection had an average value of DS > 1, so for the service level at the intersection is the current forced / jammed with low speed. Where the largest queue length occurred 1876.7 m, an average delay of 210.30 SMP/ sec, and vehicles stopped at an average of 7378 SMP/hour. And for unsignalized intersections having an average DS <0.45, the service level at the intersection is a stable flow with operating speed starting to be limited by traffic conditions, this intersection has the greatest queue probability (QP%) 8.48-20.35 in the Saturday time period - afternoon and intersection delay 9.5 SMP / sec

The development of public transport in Jakarta, Indonesia, in the last two decades is quite significant. However, the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic has changed people's travel habits. People have concerns about the spread of the virus on public transport. In order to become the primary choice to return to the New Normal, it is necessary to adjust the conditions of public transport. This paper aims to determine the considerations of passengers in determining the choice of using public transport. The research method used is qualitative by collecting data using a questionnaire and analysis using stated preference. The analysis shows that the passenger restriction and tariff discount significantly affect the probability of using public transport in the new-normal era with an R2 of 0.934. The sensitivity test shows that the stricter the passenger restriction and the discount rate, the higher the probability of using public transport

Purpose: This study aims to determine the performance of the road before and after the provision of motorcycle lanes. It also aims to determine the lane effect on vehicle speed and alternative solutions. Design/methodology/approach: In this study, MKJI 1997 and Vissim Software were used as the research methods. Findings: The results of the existing road performance showing that the vehicle speed, DS, and level of service were 38.66 km/h, 0.84, and D, respectively. This indicated that the provision of motorcycle lanes was effective in improving road performance, due to the level of service for the LV and HV lanes increasing from D to B, with a speed increasing from 36.99 km/h to 40.25 km/h. The results showed that the level of service for the motorcycle lane increased from D to C and the vehicle speed was 49.92 km/h. While the level of service for LV and HV lanes being consistent with B and the vehicle speed was 40,04 km/h. Research limitations/implications: The level of service for the motorcycle lanes decreased from D to F with the speed decreased from 46.13 km/h to 41.23 km/h, subsequently indicating that the alternative solution was to widen the motorcycle lane. Practical implications: Margonda Road is one of the congestion points in Depok City. Margonda Road connecting Depok and Jakarta. The composition of motorcycles on Margonda Road reach more than 80% of the traffic flow. This conditions has an impact on decrease the road performance. In this study, the provision of motorcycle lanes will be carried out using the Vissim Software simulation, where the application of lanes is considered to be the solution to this problem. Originality/value: This paper is original Paper type: a Research Pape

The Kodim intersection is one of the intersections at Jalan Raya Sawangan. Identifying vehicle traffic, performance, and potential remedies at the Kodim intersection and Jalan Raya Sawangan was the goal of this study. The information gathered from the survey results, the research technique employs a strategy from the PKJI (Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia) and a simulation utilizing the PTV Vissim program. Based on the results of data analysis and processing, the busiest traffic flow at the Kodim intersection occurred on Weekday at 17.30–18.30 WIB with a degree of saturation value of 1,391 and the LoS value is F. Analysis of the road section also obtained the largest volume of vehicles on Weekday at 17.15–18.15 WIB, the degree of saturation value is 1.49, so the Los value is F. By carrying out several repair solutions, the best service level value is obtained for the repair solution by making a flyover. The solution of making a flyover produces a degree of saturation value of 0.382, so that the Level of Service (Los) value of the intersection is obtained at level B. The resulting degree of saturation value is below 0.85, as required in the PKJI 2014

Bekasi Regency is a regency in West Java Province with a population of ± 3,899,00 Million People (Based on Statistics Indonesia, 2020). Diponegoro Highway – Setia Mekar Street Bekasi Regency is access to the main road to the city border, besides that access to residential locations, schools, and many companies which makes vehicle traffic especially during rush hour more congested by the activities on the side of the road such as slow vehicle, the ups and downs of passengers, so vehicles that stop causing long vehicle queues. From the results of the analysis, the results of signalized intersection can be obtained on the Diponegoro Highway Setia Mekar Street Bekasi Regency. It is known that the greatest Degree of Saturation is in the Northen approach which is 1,12 with a average intersection delay is 99,21 seconds/smp. Furthermore, Alternative solutions is carried out by changing side obstacles from 0,94 to 0,95 and recycling time intersection, resulting in a decrease in the average intersection delay and improvement of indoporlen intersection service

Purpose: Transportation is one of the important things in supporting community activities outside the home. Currently, people are faced with the new normal era so they have to adapt to new things due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. This study wants to know about the behavior of the community in the selection of public transportation in the corridor Blok M – Bundaran Hotel Indonesia in the new normal era.  Design/methodology/approach: Data were obtained from the results of a questionnaire survey of users of the Blok M – Bundaran Hotel Indonesia public transport corridor using stated preference methods and used influence attributes in the form of travel costs, travel time, and waiting time. The survey results were collected and then linear regression analysis was performed and modeling was performed using the binomial logit model. Data analysis was carried out from questionnaire data distributed to 100 respondents. Findings: The survey results were collected and then linear regression analysis was performed and modeling was performed using the binomial logit model. Data analysis was carried out from questionnaire data distributed to 100 respondents. The results of linear regression analysis using the SPSS program obtained a mode selection model, namely (UMRT-UTJ) = -2.331 + 0.000X1 + 0.040X2 + 0.820X3, where X1 is the travel cost variable, X2 is the travel time variable and X3 is the waiting time variable. The conclusion obtained from the results of this study is that the MRT is the most preferred mode of public transportation compared to Transjakarta in this new normal era. Research limitations/implications: Although most of the enterprises surveyed have an idea how to respond to calamities and mitigate disastrous situations, this research argues that a solid policy framework might be drawn through the local government units concerned to institutionalized this effort. Practical implications: The convenience factor is the main factor for public transport users to choose the MRT, while the travel cost factor is the main factor for public transport users to choose Transjakarta. Originality/value: This paper is an original work. Paper type: Research pape

The unsignalized intersection which is located in Cileungsi District, precisely on Jalan Cileungsi Setu and Jalan Raya Narogong, is a commercial area with dense economic activity and densely populated settlements. As a result of the dense activity, congestion occurs due to the large number of vehicles passing the road, especially during peak hours, namely the morning and evening. Seeing this problem, an analysis is needed that aims to determine the volume, performance of roads, and unmarked intersections as measured by capacity, degree of saturation, and level of service. In analyzing this study using the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) 1997 method which will determine the performance of roads and intersections without signs. The data needed in this research are primary data in the form of geometric road data, traffic volume, vehicle speed data, and side friction. As well as secondary data in the form of location maps, land use, and population data. From the results of data analysis and processing, the busiest traffic flow at the intersection occurred on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 17.30 - 18.30 WIB, the saturation degree value was 1.17 with LOS F. By doing an alternative solution, the saturation degree value was 0.68 and LOS B with placing signs are prohibited from stopping around intersections, and prohibiting the flow of traffic turning right either from the main road D to the Minor C road or from the Minor C road to the main road B. On Jalan Raya Narogong, the degree of saturation is 0.74 LOS C service, this shows that the road sections do not exceed the figure required by MKJI 1997, namely ≤ 0.75
