Solar energy emplacement developer

A preliminary design was developed for a Lunar Power System (LPS) composed of photovoltaic arrays and microwave reflectors fabricated from lunar materials. The LPS will collect solar energy on the surface of the Moon, transform it into microwave energy, and beam it back to Earth where it will be converted into usable energy. The Solar Energy Emplacement Developer (SEED) proposed will use a similar sort of solar energy collection and dispersement to power the systems that will construct the LPS

Multiple Team Membership: A Theoretical Model of its Effects on Productivity and Learning for Individuals, Teams, and Organizations

While organizations strive to manage the time and attention of workers effectively, the practice of asking workers to contribute to multiple teams simultaneously can result in the opposite. We present a model of the effects of multiple team membership (MTM) on learning and productivity via the mediating processes of individual context switching, team temporal misalignment, and intra-organizational connectivity. These effects are curvilinear, with learning and productivity peaking at moderate levels of these mediating processes

TECHNIQUES FOR VISUALIZATION OF DEVICE INTERNAL PACKET PROCESSING AND NETWORK EVENTS

The techniques presented herein provide an easy to understand animation representing how traffic is entering, being processed, and exiting a device. In certain examples, events are represented by flying icons that enter an interface of a device. As they are processed by different features their tails get longer and gain segments that represent what feature acted on them. Any packet drops may be shown, for example, by the icons falling down from the device onto a floor that represents the drop reason and piling up to show the scale of the drops
