Investigación aplicada como herramienta para la inclusión educativa

Esta publicación reúne diez trabajos académicos y de investigación de maestros comprometidos con la inclusión educativa. En estos TFM, defendidos públicamente y evaluados por un tribunal de especialistas en el sector, los autores realizan diferentes aportaciones al ámbito de la Educación Inclusiva y la atención a la diversidad, desde la perspectiva de la investigación y la aportación científica o desde la perspectiva de la aplicación práctica en el aula tanto de procedimientos, estrategias, unidades didácticas, pautas, y materiales adaptados, que permitirán que aquellas personas que accedan a la lectura de este documento, no solo reflexionen sobre la realidad de la educación inclusiva o el diseño universal del aprendizaje, sino que obtendrán diversos recursos de gran utilidad para poner en práctica en su ejercicio profesional diario con los niños, a los que día a día pretenden aportar lo mejor de sí mismos

Estudio de las propiedades mecánicas de armaduras corroídas cuando se modifica la longitud de superficie corroída

En este trabajo se estudia el efecto de la corrosión sobre el comportamiento mecánico de la armadura cuando se corroen distintas longitudes de barra. Se han ensayado a tracción 72 barras corrugadas de acero B500SD (con altas propiedades de ductilidad) que previamente se han corroído aceleradamente, localizándose la corrosión en tres longitudes de barra diferentes. Los resultados muestran que se producen variaciones significativas en la curva tensión-deformación obtenida en los ensayos de tracción, incluso con grados de corrosión por debajo del 1%. Approach and Development of a University Studies Itinerary Aimed to People with Intellectual Disability: Structure and Results of its Implementation

Con este trabajo se pretende abordar el impacto de la propuesta de formación tanto en el propio estudiante como en la comunidad universitaria. El diseño de la presente investigación presenta un enfoque mixto, centrándose en el trabajo de campo. La recogida de información se realizó a través de la observación directa y, por otro lado, mediante la administración de cuestionarios que valoran el impacto de la formación tanto en los estudiantes como en la comunidad universitaria. Se encontró que esta formación incrementa las posibilidades de encontrar un empleo, así como de mantenerlo en el tiempo gracias a la formación específica y al entrenamiento en habilidades sociales, emocionales y prelaborales básicas. Asimismo, los resultados muestran un nivel de satisfacción alto en docentes y discentes que participaron en la formación. La implementación de estos programas resulta necesaria para abordar la situación académica y laboral de jóvenes con discapacidad intelectual. Asimismo, la implicación y colaboración de la comunidad universitaria supone un factor determinante a la hora de ofrecer una educación de calidad y en igualdad de oportunidadesThis research aims to address the impact of the training proposal on both the student himself and the university community. The design of this research presents a mixed approach, focusing on fieldwork. The collection of information was carried out through direct observation and, on the other hand, by administering questionnaires that assess the impact of training on both the students as in the university community. This training found to increase the chances of finding a job, as well as keeping it in time thanks to specific training and training in basic social, emotional and pre-work skills. The results also show a high level of satisfaction in teachers and speakers who participated in the training. The implementation of these programs is necessary to address the academic and employment situation of young people with intellectual disabilities. Detección de necesidades de formación de docentes en educación inclusiva.

It is imperative to detect the training needs of education professionals on the educational needs of students with a diagnosis of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, thus favouring an early detection that allows the correct development of the person and a rights-based education. To this end, the aim is to design a tool to assess the knowledge and attitudes of teachers, professors, and counsellors to determine, if appropriate, training needs. The Delphi method is applied to a sample of seven experts in the field. In the data analysis, the relative interquartile range (RIR) was applied to determine consensus and the variation of the RIR to determine stability between consecutive rounds. In the third round, consensus was obtained for most of the items, retaining those items where RIR<.05. Between the second and third consecutive rounds, panel stability was achieved, with the RIR variation being less than .05 in more than 80% of the items. In conclusion, the questionnaire shows high content validity and incorporates the most relevant items about FASD that should be known in order to detect a possible case of FASD at an early age.Es imperante detectar las necesidades de formación de profesionales de la educación sobre las necesidades educativas de estudiantes con un diagnóstico de Trastorno del Espectro Alcohólico Fetal favoreciendo así, una detección temprana que permita el correcto desarrollo de la persona y una educación basada en derechos. Para ello, el objetivo es diseñar una herramienta que permita valorar los conocimientos y las actitudes de maestros, profesores y orientadores para determinar, si corresponde, las necesidades de formación. Se aplica el método Delphi a una muestra conformada por siete expertos en la materia. En el análisis de datos, se aplicó el rango intercuartílico relativo (RIR) para determinar el consenso y la variación del RIR para determinar la estabilidad entre rondas consecutivas. En la tercera ronda se obtuvo el consenso en la mayoría de los ítems, conservando aquellos en los que RIR<.05. Entre la segunda y tercera ronda consecutiva se alcanzó la estabilidad del panel, siendo la variación del RIR menor a .05 en más del 80% de los ítems. Como conclusión, el cuestionario muestra una elevada validez de contenido e incorpora los elementos más relevantes sobre el TEAF que se deben conocer para detectar un posible caso de TEAF a una edad temprana

Mixed-signal CNN array chips for image processing

Due to their local connectivity and wide functional capabilities, cellular nonlinear networks (CNN) are excellent candidates for the implementation of image processing algorithms using VLSI analog parallel arrays. However, the design of general purpose, programmable CNN chips with dimensions required for practical applications raises many challenging problems to analog designers. This is basically due to the fact that large silicon area means large development cost, large spatial deviations of design parameters and low production yield. CNN designers must face different issues to keep reasonable enough accuracy level and production yield together with reasonably low development cost in their design of large CNN chips. A constraint-free flight simulator package for airborne wind energy systems

Proceeding of: 7th International Conference "The Science of Making Torque from Wind" (TORQUE 2018), Milano, 20-22 June, 2018.The LAgrangian Kite SimulAtor (LAKSA) is a freely available software for the dynamic analysis of tethered flying vehicles, such as kites and fixed-wing drones, applied to airborne wind energy generation. This software comprises four simulators. The one, two and four-line simulators, which consider flexible but inelastic tethers, are based on minimal coordinate Lagragian formulations and can be used for the analysis of fly and ground generation systems, kite-based traction systems, and kitesurfing applications, respectively. The configuration of the mechanical system in the fourth simulator can be defined by the user, who can select the number of flying vehicles and the properties of the elastic and flexible tethers linking them. In all the software tools, the kites or tethered fixed-wing drones are represented as rigid bodies and the dynamic equations of the tether-bridle-vehicle systems, together with the user-defined and time-dependent control variables, are solved self-consistently. Effects of a Program of Sport Schools on Development of Social and Psychomotor Skills of People with Autistic Spectrum Disorders: A Pilot Project

Individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) present learning difficulties and limited performance of social skills, besides lower motor skills performance in comparison with their peers. Owing to these difficulties, most of children with ASD are at risk of social exclusion or a poor inclusion due to their behavior, mainly playing with other partners, understanding play and leisure as a main performance area for children and their main occupation during childhood (defining occupation from occupational therapy point of view). Therefore, learning rules of a well-known game such as football, together with social skills training can help avoid exclusion and improve social life of people with ASD. Two of the main objectives pursued by this study are: first, to favor football practice among children with different abilities, as well as their future inclusion in the rest of social sports schools performing the activities at the same level as their peers; and, secondly, to facilitate comprehensive development for young people in order to improve their quality of life, moreover, the creation of healthy and sporting habits.It is now presented a pilot project (n=5) in which the actions carried out during the training program are analyzed along with the results achieved after 24 one-hour-session. In general terms, the results obtained are positive with the best scores in psychomotor and social skills at the end of the programs, being conscious of this study’s limitations

Aspectos teóricos e práticos da observação de aves como estratégia para o ensino da biologia

Colombia is one of the most biodiverse countries, has the largest number of bird species in the world. This makes that in the country there is a great interest for this charismatic group of animals, which attract attention for their colors, shapes and songs, in addition they are indicators of the state of ecosystems and play an important ecological role. The Ornithological Group of the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional (UPN-O) has been carrying out interdisciplinary work involving science, pedagogy, art, among other disciplines, to carry the message of care and appreciation of biodiversity with birds as the central focus. For this reason, the UPN-O proposes to develop the workshop "Theoretical and practical aspects of bird watching as a strategy for the teaching of biology" within the framework of the XI Latin American Congress on Biology Teaching and Environmental Education, for participants to develop skills in bird watching, an activity that generates an approach to species recognition and identification, but also allows teaching biology in the context for more teachers, students and the community at large recognize the birds that coexist in their territories so that they can implement actions for their conservation.  Colombia es uno de los países más biodiversos, posee la mayor cantidad de especies de aves del mundo. Esto hace que en el país exista un gran interés por este carismático grupo de animales, que llaman la atención por sus colores, formas y cantos, además son indicadores del estado de los ecosistemas y cumplen un papel ecológico importante. El Grupo de Ornitología de la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional (UPN-O) ha venido realizando un trabajo interdisciplinar que involucra ciencia, pedagogía, arte, entre otras disciplinas, con el fin de llevar el mensaje de cuidado y valoración de la biodiversidad teniendo como eje central a las aves. Por tal razón, el UPN-O propone desarrollar el taller “Aspectos teóricos y prácticos de la observación de aves como estrategia para la enseñanza de la biología” en el marco del XI Congreso Latinoamericano de Enseñanza de la Biología y la Educación Ambiental, para que los participantes (público abierto) puedan desarrollar habilidades en el avistamiento de aves, actividad que genera un acercamiento al reconocimiento e identificación de las especies, pero que también posibilita la enseñanza de la biología en contexto para que más maestros, estudiantes y la comunidad en general reconozcan las aves que co-habitan en sus territorios y así puedan implementar acciones para su conservación.  A Colômbia é um dos países mais biodiversos, possui a maior quantidade de espécies de aves do mundo.
