Which everyday practices allowed women to sustain and fulfill individuality and agency under dictatorial rule? This book adds to a rich scholarship on the history of late Francoism and the transition to democracy in Modern Spain through the lens of oral history and life writing. Aurora Morcillo tells the stories of anonymous individuals from both student and working class backgrounds - crucial sites of active resistance against the dictatorship at the time - and provides an interdisciplinary feminist analysis of the inevitable modernization of Spain in the 1960s and 1970s. This study uncovers a Deleuzian rendition of historical unfolding/becoming rather than simply being a collection of oral histories: a historical narration which proposes to be a creative historical ontology

Atmospheric degradation of an intumescent paint coating

[EN] The influence exerted by temperature on the resistant capacity of structural steel is well known. A highly efficient and increasingly widely used protection system for steel consists of the application of intumescent paints, which in the case of fire retard its destructive action. Their effectiveness is based on the property that when they come into contact with flames they react by swelling to form an insulating layer, referred to as intumescence, which impedes the propagation of heat. Though in general these paints do not require continuous maintenance, their service behaviour depends on the exposure conditions to which they are exposed. This paper studies the behaviour of an acrylated rubber type intumescent system exposed to two outdoor atmospheres. The same system is also studied with the protection of a topcoat paint layer. The coating’s capacity to intumesce has been measured before and after its exposure to the corresponding atmospheres by means of fire resistance tests applied at laboratory scale. The evolution of the coating’s behaviour with exposure time has been studied by means of thermal analysis (TG/DTA) and infrared spectroscopy (FTIR).Los autores agradecen a ECSC (Contract No. 7210-PR/191) la financiación de este Proyecto. International audienceA search is reported for charge-parity D0^0\to KS0^0_\mathrm{S}KS0^0_\mathrm{S}CPCP violation in D0^0\to KS0^0_\mathrm{S}KS0^0_\mathrm{S} decays, using data collected in proton-proton collisions at s\sqrt{s} = 13 TeV recorded by the CMS experiment in 2018. The analysis uses a dedicated data set that corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 41.6 fb1^{-1}, which consists of about 10 billion events containing a pair of ẖadrons, nearly all of which decay to charm hadrons. The flavor of the neutral D meson is determined by the pion charge in the reconstructed decays D+^{*+}\to D0π+^0\pi^+ and D^{*-}\to D0π^0\pi^-. The D0^0\to KS0^0_\mathrm{S}KS0^0_\mathrm{S}CPCP asymmetry in D0^0\to KS0^0_\mathrm{S}KS0^0_\mathrm{S} is measured to be ACPA_{CP}( KS0^0_\mathrm{S}KS0^0_\mathrm{S}) = (6.2 ±\pm 3.0 ±\pm 0.2 ±\pm 0.8)%, where the three uncertainties represent the statistical uncertainty, the systematic uncertainty, and the uncertainty in the measurement of the D0^0 \to KS0^0_\mathrm{S}KS0^0_\mathrm{S} CPCP asymmetry in the D0^0 \to KS0π+π^0_\mathrm{S}\pi^+\pi^- decay. This is the first D0^0 \to KS0^0_\mathrm{S}KS0^0_\mathrm{S} CPCP asymmetry measurement by CMS in the charm sector as well as the first to utilize a fully hadronic final state
