Unramified Brauer groups of finite and infinite groups

The Bogomolov multiplier is a group theoretical invariant isomorphic to the unramified Brauer group of a given quotient space. We derive a homological version of the Bogomolov multiplier, prove a Hopf-type formula, find a five term exact sequence corresponding to this invariant, and describe the role of the Bogomolov multiplier in the theory of central extensions. A new description of the Bogomolov multiplier of a nilpotent group of class two is obtained. We define the Bogomolov multiplier within K-theory and show that proving its triviality is equivalent to solving a long-standing problem posed by Bass. An algorithm for computing the Bogomolov multiplier is developed.Comment: to appear in Amer. J. Mat

Males of Ichthyofilaria argentinensis Incorvaia, 1999 and I. bergensis (Wülker, 1930) (Dracunculoidea: Guyanemidae): New morphological aspects and emendation of the generic diagnosis

The adult male of dracunculoid nematode Ichthyofilaria argentinensis Incorvaia, 1999 (Guyanemidae) is described for the first time based on specimens found in the swimbladder of its type host, Merluccius hubbsi Marini (Merlucciidae), caught off the coast of Buenos Aires, Argentina (western Atlantic Ocean). In addition, the males of Ichthyofilaria bergensis (Wülker, 1930) Køie, 1993 are redescribed from specimens collected from the body cavity and visceral surface of Molva macrophthalma (Rafinesque) (Lotidae) caught in the western Mediterranean Sea, off the coast of Sardinia. Light and scanning electron microscopy examinations revealed some new morphological features for the genus, such as a pair of deirids located near the end of muscular oesophagus, the body wall conspicuously twisted immediately anterior to the cloaca, the presence of a copulatory plate, one pair of adcloacal papillae and a pair of phasmids situated on the posterior half of the tail. On the basis of this material, the generic diagnosis of Ichthyofilaria is modified to include some of these newly observed features, as well as to indicate the absence of spicules. The diagnosis of Guyanemidae is extended to include that a copulatory plate and/or two spicules may be present as characteristics for this family.Fil: Cantatore, Delfina María Paula. Modifications of thick-target model: re-acceleration of electron beams by static and stochastic electric fields

We study two modifications of the collisional thick-target model (CTTM) based on the global and local re-acceleration of non-thermal electrons by static and stochastic electric fields during their transport from the coronal acceleration site to the thick-target region in the chromosphere. We concentrate on a comparison of the non-thermal electron distribution functions, chromospheric energy deposits, and HXR spectra obtained for both considered modifications with the CTTM itself. The results were obtained using a relativistic test-particle approach. We simulated the transport of non-thermal electrons with a power-law spectrum including the influence of scattering, energy losses, magnetic mirroring, and also the effects of the electric fields corresponding to both modifications of the CTTM. We show that both modifications of the CTTM change the outcome of the chromospheric bombardment in several aspects. The modifications lead to an increase in chromospheric energy deposit, change of its spatial distribution, and a substantial increase in the corresponding HXR spectrum intensity.Comment: 15 pages, 14 figures, 3 tables, to be published in Astronomy and Astrophysic

Z 1S vede schodiště do zahrady. 2NP je navrženo pro odpočinek, jsou ložnice s koupelnami a přístup na terasu. This bachelor´s thesis is a project of semidetached house for two generations of family. House is situated on periphery of Moravany. The building consists of two flats, between them is garage for two cars. Smaller flat is single-storey building, second one is storey and with cellar. Flats are connected conservatory, from here is entrance to garden. Struktural system is Porotherm. Semidetached house is roofed with flat roof, part of this is extensive green roof. Main entrances are in ground floor. Ground floor serves to staying during day. Here are kitchen, and living room. In smaller flat is also bedroom and bathroom. In bigger flat is cast-in-place reinforced concrete staircase. In cellar there are storages, workshop, laundry, utility room and workshop. From cellar is external staircase to garden. Second floor is designed for rest, here are bedrooms with bathrooms and entrance to terrace.
