ОБГРУНТУВАННЯ ВИКОРИСТАННЯ ФІТОБІОТИКІВ ДЛЯ КОРЕКЦІЇ ЗАХИСНИХ ФУНКЦІЙ ОРГАНІЗМУ СВИНЕЙ

The substitution of antibiotics by natural substances of plant origin is a step to decrease the number of gastro–intestinal disorders and to improve the performances of the growth and development of different kinds of animals. The positive influence of the above preparations can be explained by the potential of the substances to support useful microflora of gastro–intestinal tract that protects the animal from pathogenic bacteria and alleviates the course of stress periods. The review of the publications of the Ukrainian and foreign scientists on the use of feeds additives in the animal husbandry that contain phytobiotics and antioxidants has been given in the article. It has been found out that natural stimulators of growth (NSG) are the perspective of the substitution of antibiotic stimulators of growth (ASG) on modern animal breeding farms. Such products as organic acids, immunomodulators, probiotics, prebiotics, synbiotics, ferments or phytobiotics have proved their efficacy in providing feeds safety, supporting the health of gastro–intestinal tract and in the improvement of growth performances in different kinds of animals. Different natural stimulators of growth, combined in the balanced mixture, have a positive effect and help to resist the invasion of pathogenic agents and unfavorable conditions of maintenance.  Замена антибиотиков естественными веществами растительного происхождения является эффективным шагом для снижения количества желудочно–кишечных расстройств и улучшения показателей роста и развития различных видов животных. Благотворное влияние этих препаратов объясняется потенциалом данных веществ в поддержке полезной микрофлоры желудочно–кишечного тракта, которая защищает животное от патогенных бактерий и смягчает течение стрессовых периодов.В статье приведен анализ первоисточников зарубежных и отечественных ученых по применению в животноводстве кормовых добавок, содержащих фитобиотики и антиоксиданты.Установлено, что природные стимуляторы роста (ПСР) – это многообещающая концепция замены антибиотических стимуляторов роста (АСР) в современных животноводческих хозяйствах. Такие продукты как органические кислоты, иммуномодуляторы, пробиотики, пребиотики, синбиотики, ферменты или фитобиотики показали свою эффективность в обеспечении безопасности кормов, поддержании здоровья желудочно–кишечного тракта и улучшения показателей роста у различных видов животных.Различные ПСР, объединенные в сбалансированную смесь, имеют эффективное действие, противостоят вторжению патогенных организмов и неблагоприятным условиям содержания.Заміна антибіотиків природніми речовинами рослинного походження є ефективним кроком у зниженні кількості шлунково–кишкових розладів і покращенні показників зростання і розвитку різних видів тварин. Сприятливий вплив цих препаратів пояснюється потенціалом даних речовин у підтримці корисної мікрофлори шлунково–кишкового тракту, яка захищає тварину від патогенних бактерій і пом'якшує перебіг стресових періодів. У статті наведено аналіз першоджерел зарубіжних і вітчизняних науковців щодо застосування у тваринництві кормових добавок, які вміщують фітобіотики та антиоксиданти. Встановлено, що природні стимулятори росту (ПСР) – це багатообіцяюча концепція заміни антибіотичних стимуляторів росту (АСР) в сучасних тваринницьких господарствах. Такі продукти, як органічні кислоти, імуномодулятори, пробіотики, пребіотики, синбіотики, ферменти або фітобіотики показали свою ефективність у забезпеченні безпеки кормів, підтримці здоров'я шлунково–кишкового тракту і поліпшення показників зростання у різних видів тварин. Різні ПСР, об'єднані в збалансовану суміш, мають ефективну дію, протистоять вторгненню патогенних організмів і несприятливим умовам утримання. &nbsp

Intrinsic Moment of Inertia of Membranes as bounds for the mass gap of Yang-Mills Theories

We obtain the precise condition on the potentials of Yang-Mills theories in 0+1 dimensions and D0 brane quantum mechanics ensuring the discretness of the spectrum. It is given in terms of a moment of inertia of the membrane. From it we obtain a bound for the mass gap of any D+1 Yang-Mills theory in the slow-mode regime. In particular we analyze the physical case D=3. The quantum mechanical behavior of the theories, concerning its spectrum, is determined by harmonic oscillators with frequencies given by the inertial tensor of the membrane. We find a class of quantum mechanic potential polynomials of any degree, with classical instabilities that at quantum level have purely discrete spectrum.Comment: 12pages, Latex, minor changes, more explanatory comment

Підвищення стійкості організму свиней до окисного стресу засобами рослинного походження

Pig breeding in Ukraine is a priority and perspective branch of agriculture to solve the problem of providing the population with the food products of high quality (meat, fat). Meat production is one of the most complicated industries in the field of agriculture. The problem of providing the population with meat is almost impossible to solve without the intensive development of the industry since pigs are different from other farm animals by the premature and high output of slaughter products. The article presents the data of the research on the state of the antioxidant system of pigs when using Macleay and the additives of raw buckwheat «buckwheat green» as the source of quercetin to the feeds. As a result of the experiment it has been found out that the addition of Macleay to the feeds of pigs at the dose of 72 and 210 mg/10 kg of feeds as well as «green buckwheat» at the rate of 1.25 and 6.25 g/kg of body weight in all groups led to the increase in the weight gain of piglets on average by 10–40%  and it stimulated the processes of antioxidant protection in the experimental piglets that was characterized by the inhibition of the processes of peroxidation of lipids (POL) (the decrease in the concentration of its primary and secondary TBA-active products– dien conjugates (DC) and malonic dialdehyde (MDA)) and also at first the increase and then the decrease to the normal physiological activity of antioxidant enzymes (catalase and superoxide dismutase (SOD)) and the restoration of the pool of endogenous total antioxidant activity (AOA).Свинарство в Україні – пріоритетна і перспективна галузь сільського господарства у вирішенні проблеми забезпечення населення якісними продуктами харчування (м'ясо, сало). Виробництво м’яса є одним з із складних у сфері агропромислового комплексу. Це питання неможливо вирішувати без інтенсивного розвитку галузі, оскільки свині відрізняються скоростиглістю і високим виходом продуктів забою. У науковій статті наведені дані щодо дослідження стану антиоксидантної системи свиней за застосування маклеї серцевидної та додавання до корму добавки необробленого зерна гречки «зелена гречка» як джерела кверцетину. Проведеними дослідами встановлено, що додавання свиням до корму маклеї серцевидної у дозі 72 і 210 мг/10 кг корму, а також «зеленої гречки» з розрахунку 1,25 і 6,25 г/кг маси тіла в усіх групах призводило до підвищення приросту маси поросят у середньому на 10–40% та стимулювало процеси антиоксидантного захисту у організмі дослідних поросят, що характеризувалось інгібіцією процесів перекисного окиснення ліпідів (ПОЛ) (зниження концентрації первинних і вторинних його ТБК-активних продуктів – дієнових кон’югатів (ДК) і малонового діальдегіду (МДА)), а також, спочатку підвищенням, а потім зниженням до фізіологічних величин активності антиоксидантних ферментів (каталази і супероксиддисмутази (СОД)) та відновленням пулу ендогенної загальної антиоксидантної активності (АОА)

Coherent frequentism

By representing the range of fair betting odds according to a pair of confidence set estimators, dual probability measures on parameter space called frequentist posteriors secure the coherence of subjective inference without any prior distribution. The closure of the set of expected losses corresponding to the dual frequentist posteriors constrains decisions without arbitrarily forcing optimization under all circumstances. This decision theory reduces to those that maximize expected utility when the pair of frequentist posteriors is induced by an exact or approximate confidence set estimator or when an automatic reduction rule is applied to the pair. In such cases, the resulting frequentist posterior is coherent in the sense that, as a probability distribution of the parameter of interest, it satisfies the axioms of the decision-theoretic and logic-theoretic systems typically cited in support of the Bayesian posterior. Unlike the p-value, the confidence level of an interval hypothesis derived from such a measure is suitable as an estimator of the indicator of hypothesis truth since it converges in sample-space probability to 1 if the hypothesis is true or to 0 otherwise under general conditions.Comment: The confidence-measure theory of inference and decision is explicitly extended to vector parameters of interest. Delocalization and Diffusion Profile for Random Band Matrices

We consider Hermitian and symmetric random band matrices $H = (h_{xy})$ in $d \geq 1$ dimensions. The matrix entries $h_{xy}$, indexed by x,y \in (\bZ/L\bZ)^d, are independent, centred random variables with variances s_{xy} = \E |h_{xy}|^2. We assume that $s_{xy}$ is negligible if $|x-y|$ exceeds the band width $W$. In one dimension we prove that the eigenvectors of $H$ are delocalized if $W\gg L^{4/5}$. We also show that the magnitude of the matrix entries \abs{G_{xy}}^2 of the resolvent $G=G(z)=(H-z)^{-1}$ is self-averaging and we compute \E \abs{G_{xy}}^2. We show that, as $L\to\infty$ and $W\gg L^{4/5}$, the behaviour of \E |G_{xy}|^2 is governed by a diffusion operator whose diffusion constant we compute. Second order analysis of geometric functionals of Boolean models

This paper presents asymptotic covariance formulae and central limit theorems for geometric functionals, including volume, surface area, and all Minkowski functionals and translation invariant Minkowski tensors as prominent examples, of stationary Boolean models. Special focus is put on the anisotropic case. In the (anisotropic) example of aligned rectangles, we provide explicit analytic formulae and compare them with simulation results. Disturbances in a VLF radio signal prior the M =4.7 offshore Anzio (central Italy) earthquake on 22 August 2005

Abstract. On 22 August 2005 an earthquake with magnitude M=4.7 occurred in the Anzio (central Italy) offshore area. From 2002, a VLF-LF radio receiver is into operation in Bari (southern Italy). The intensity and the phase of the signals transmitted by GB (f=16 kHz, United Kingdom), FR (f=20.9 kHz, France), GE (f=23.4 kHz, Germany), IC (f=37.5 kHz, Island) and IT (f=54 kHz, Sicily, Italy) has been monitored with a 5 s sampling rate. The previous epicenter is near enough to some of the radio paths and the data collected were studied in order to reveal possible seismic effects. The raw analysis revealed a clear drop in the intensity of the FR radio signal on 19 August. Then the wavelet analysis was applied to the intensity and the phase data of the different radio signals. In the mentioned day an increase in the band 60–120 min was revealed in the spectra of the FR signal. Then the principal component analysis was applied and again the 19 August stood up as an anomalous day for the FR radio signal. The path of this signal, among the paths of the five radio signals collected by the Bari receiver, is the nearest to the mentioned epicentre and the anomaly revealed on 19 August appears as a precursor of the earthquake. This result confirms the possible precursor revealed by other researchers in the air Rn content in a site located 5 miles far from the epicenter
