On Job Training (OJT) (organisation) assessment rubric is widely considered instrumental in assessing Diploma in Construction Technology students with required competencies to function effectively in the work environment. OJT remains predominantly process-focused with little attention to the criteria in OJT (organisation) assessment rubric. The aim of this study is to develop constructs and elements for OJT (organisation) assessment rubric. The research design for this study is a survey that was carried out qualitatively through document analysis to identify the constructs and elements in the OJT (organisation) assessment rubric. From meta data analysis, 110 elements are identified to be the constructs and elements in OJT (organisation) assessment rubric. After the expert validation process using questionnaire form as an instrument, only 75 elements are valid to be included in the OJT (organisation) assessment rubric while 35 elements discarded. The majority of experts agreed that four elements are suitable to be constructs of soft skills, 5 items are suitable to be constructs of technical skills while remaining 66 elements divided into technical skills and soft skills. Based on the 66 elements, 45 elements are technical skills and 21 elements in soft skills. Therefore, it is suggested to conduct a pilot study for the reliability of constructs and elements of developed OJT (organisation) assessment rubric of Diploma in Construction Technology

This investigation looked to set up the social and natural factors that impact Sustainable Entrepreneurship in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs). It likewise endeavored to distinguish whether the segment foundation of the business person impacts the Sustainable Entrepreneurship in SMEs of the Malaysian nourishment industry. This paper tries to investigate the writing on long haul and manageable development for SMEs and the upgraded information on this territory will be a direction to the approach producers, supporting offices, consultants, business visionaries and academicians to genuinely build up a widely inclusive model for feasible development of SMEs. This paper proposes an incorporated reasonable development model for SMEs with five components of the Sustainable Entrepreneurship variables that are leadership, network, employee management, customer orientation and marketing strategy. A blended technique approach, utilizing the utilization of surveys and meetings from an example size of around 120 members and 10 proprietor supervisors of SMEs in the nourishment industry, was utilized to gather information. Moreover, out of the five recognized elements, as indicated by the members' recognition, the most significant components towards supportable execution of SMEs in the nourishment industry are social variables, including customer direction. This exploration paper reasons that thinking about the social and natural parts of supportability and utilizing experienced staff would significantly add to the quest for Sustainable Entrepreneurship in SMEs of the nourishment industry

Enhanced Antenna Design for Rectenna Application in the 2.45 GHz ISM Band

In this paper a two layers microstrip antenna design at 2.45 GHz ISM band with Harmonic rejection filter embedded on the ground plane is presented. The two roger substrates with relative permittivity of 2.2 are separated by an air gap which enhances the antenna gain. The design is simulated using Computer Simulation Technology (CST) Studio Suite 2015. Different aperture couplings slots such as rectangular and triangular aperture coupling slots are studied and compared. It is found that the antenna with triangular aperture coupling slot enhances the antenna performance by suppressing 2nd and 3rd harmonics at 5 GHz and 8 GHz, respectively, increasing the antenna gain and providing a better circular polarization behavior. The simulated antenna design achieves a gain of 9 dB, return loss of -23.6dB, axial ratio of 1.27dB and axial-ratio bandwidth of 40.8% (2 ~ 3 GHz). The proposed antenna shows an enhancement in the antenna performance which makes it a suitable candidate for rectifying antenna or rectenna application as it can increase the total conversion efficiency resulting in a high output DC voltage used to power low power electronic and electrical devices such as wireless sensor

Content validity for innovation level of UTM undergraduate students: a qualitative approach

Innovation has become one of the vital aspects of a nationā€™s human capital development. Most countries including Malaysia are now putting their best effort to increase their innovation capability in order to be more competitive in various aspects, especially in economy and technology. As one of Malaysian leading universities in engineering and technology, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) emphasizes on innovation to all its students by establishing the Centre for Student Innovation (CSI). Itsā€™ objectives are to foster and enhance the innovation ability amongst UTM undergraduates. A question rising from this is, ā€˜to what extent this objective has been achieved?ā€™ Therefore, it is very important for the UTM-CSI to ensure the effectiveness of their innovative programs that involved undergraduate students. Hence, the aims of this study are to develop and propose an instrument to facilitate UTM-CSI in assessing the level of innovation among UTM undergraduate students. A quantitative approach has been undertaken which includes document analysis from literature review, integration models and theories related to innovation and proposed human capital, and culture and leadership as constructs to develop the instrument in measuring the level of studentsā€™ innovation. This article will report on the analysis of content validity and reliability using the Fleissā€™ Kappa Index where the inter-rater agreement on constructs studied is analyzed. The finding shows that the constructs and sub constructs indicated a high degree of agreement values that determine the validity and reliability of the development of instrument

The focal point of the examination included investigating the achievement factors among women entrepreneurs in the province of Malaysia. This paper explored to what degree a few factors, entrepreneurship education management, customer orientation and marketing orientation can clarify its commitment towards turning out to be effective women entrepreneurship visionary. Women entrepreneurs have been progressively mainstreamed into advancement forms, and by assuming an assortment of jobs at the family, network and society levels, they have had the option to add to national improvement and thriving. Reflecting dynamically expanded political will, progressive Malaysian advancement plans have put a more prominent accentuation on mainstreaming women entrepreneurs in national improvement through certifiable multi-sectoral approaches and projects. Gender orientation as an advancement center was first referenced in the Third Malaysia Plan (1976ā€“1980), which supported the dynamic interest of women entrepreneurs being developed and their commitment to the economy. The job of Women entrepreneurs in neediness destruction was given acknowledgment under the Fifth Malaysia Plan when social projects to elevate the state of women were supplanted by monetary projects. The results show that the regression analysis on entrepreneurship education management, customer orientation and market strategy affect the sustainability of SMEs. Numerous studies have been undertaken to evaluate the effects of various elements on women's entrepreneurial success, but our study looked into several entrepreneurship education management, customer orientation and market strategy factors towards women's entrepreneurship sustainability that have largely gone unexplored, particularly in Malaysia. The current study further adds to the previous literature by providing empirical evidence
