In this paper a novel Optimal Type-2 Fuzzy Proportional-Integral-Derivative Controller (OT2FPIDC) is designed for controlling the air supply pressure of Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system. The parameters of input and output membership functions, and PID controller coefficients are optimized simultaneously by random inertia weight Particle Swarm Optimization (RNW-PSO). Simulation results show the superiority of the proposed controller than similar non-optimal fuzzy controller.U radu je predložena nova upravljačka shema optimalnog neizrazitog PID regulatora tipa 2 za upravljanje sustavima za grijajne, ventilaciju i klimatizaciju.

The study site, Armardeh forest, is located in Baneh, Kurdistan Province. The study area covers approximately 17000 ha. In this study, logistic regression and discriminant analysis methods were used and their performances were compared. Two random sampling grids were overlaid on the presence and absence area of Quercus libani type as dependent variables. Physiographic factors including slope, aspect, elevation and distance from drains were extracted for each sampling site and considered as independent variables. The results showed that the area under the ROC curve (0.746) for logistic regression method is higher than the discriminant analysis with 0.502. Furthermore, the overall accuracy of the classification of the logistic regression was higher than discriminate analysis. The results of this study can be used in management and restoration of these forests

International Journal of Exercise Science 15(3): 962-973, 2022. Background: Stabilizing exercises reduce pain intensity, improves shoulder position and scapular function, and provides an appropriate strategy for the improvement of scapular dyskinesia. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of six weeks of stability exercises (stretching-strengthening) on joint proprioception, strength, and range of motion of the glenohumeral joint in female tennis players with scapular dyskinesia. Methods: Thirty-six female elite tennis players with scapular dyskinesia in both experimental and control groups participated in this study. Goniometer, Isokinetic and Biodex devices were used to evaluate the range of motion, internal and external rotation strength in 60° and 180°, and joint proprioception at 45° and 60°, respectively. Also, the lateral scapular slide test (LSST) was used to evaluate the scapulohumeral rhythm. For analyzing dependent variables and determining statistical significance the ANCOVA and an alpha of 5% was used. Results: The results of this study indicated the effect of the stability exercise program on the range of motion of internal (p = 0.016) and external (p = 0.023) rotation of the shoulder. Also, significant differences were observed between the control and training groups for internal rotation strength 60° (p = 0.013), 180° (p = 0.017) and external rotation strength 60° (p = 0.005), 180° (p = 0.045) and strength ratio 60° (p = 0.001) and 180° (p = 0.023). However, there were no significant differences for proprioception. Conclusion: In general, the findings of this study support the effectiveness of exercise therapy as a safe intervention for improving scapular function in tennis players with scapular dyskinesia

Investigation of the effects of gamma radiation on plasma levels of Zn, Cu, Mn and Se in nuclear medicine staff

We assessed possible changes in the levels of some trace elements among nuclear medicine staff. This study was carried out on 30 nuclear medicine staff and 10 individuals as a control group. After the blood samples were collected, serum levels of trace elements were measured using atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). Mean Zn levels in the control group (89.75 ± 17.35 µmol/l) were significantly (p = 0.002) higher than in the exposed group (70.91 ± 14.46 µmol/l). Increased duration of exposure was significantly associated with reduced zinc levels (p = 0.005). Furthermore, the 5-year average dose received was adversely and significantly correlated with zinc concentrations (p = 0.019). No significant difference was observed in the Cu level between control group (93.85 ± 25.33 µmol/l) and staff worker group (85.6 ± 21.66 µmol/l) (p = 0.32). A positive significant correlation was observed between exposure time and reduced Cu levels (p = 0.05). No difference was found in mean Mn and Se levels between both groups according to exposure time. Declined Zn and Cu levels may be considered as one of the possible mechanisms of oxidative damages induced by gammas rays. Therefore, an antioxidant treatment could be recommended for people who work in medical radiation centers
