    Oblik čestica može utjecati na točnost grafičkog određivanja njihovih površina. Površine čestica pravilna izdužena oblika, mogu imati veće pogreške od dozvoljenih za dvostruka mjerenja, u usporedbi s onima izračunanim iz podataka mjerenja. Do tih pogrešaka može doći zbog oblika čestica, iako sve grafičke kontrole mogu biti u dozvoljenim granicama. Treba naglasiti da se takve pogreške neće otkriti digitalizacijom čestica.The shape of plots can influence the accuracy of graphic determination of their areas. The areas of plots having regular stretched shape can contain larger errors than it is allowed for twofold measurements comparing them with those calculated from the measured data. The errors can be caused by the shape of plots, although all graphic controls can be within permitted limits. It should be pointed out that such errors would not be discovered by plot digitising

    Simulataneous determination of nimesulide and its impurities in pharmaceutical formulations by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography

    A simple, rapid and reproducible reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography method for the analysis of nimesulide and its impurities both in the bulk drug and pharmaceutical formulations is reported. The method is suitable for monitoring the stability of nimesulide. The presence of nimesulide impurities C (2- phenoxyaniline) and D (2- phenoxy4- nitroaniline) was observed. The best separation was achieved using an Agilent Zorbax Extend C-18 column ( 150 x 4.6 mm, particle size 5 mu m) at 40 C and flow rate of 1.0 mLmin(-1). The analytes were monitored at 230 nm. The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile - triethylamine (TEA) - water (45:0.5:54.5 v/v/v), adjusted to pH 5.2 with formic acid. Under these conditions the retention times were of 7.11, 7.98 and 8.66 min for nimesulide, D and C, respectively. The resolution of nimesulide and impurity D was 3.20 and that of impurity D and impurity C 2.40, indicating that the compounds were well separated. Evaluation of linearity, accuracy, precision, selectivity, sensitivity and robustness of the method produced satisfactory results. The developed method was successfully applied to assay nimesulide in different solid pharmaceutical formulations

    U radu se uspoređuju površine katastarskih čestica koje su određene na temelju grafičke izmjere već u XIX. stoljeću, a koje su donedavno bile u službenoj upotrebi, i površine istih čestica određene novom izmjerom. Kako su stari analogni planovi skenirani i vektorizirani, određene su iste površine i iz takvog plana, kako bi se otkrili neki uzroci velikih razlika u površinama. Na temelju provedene analize i utvrđene činjenice da se samo oko 20% katastarskih čestica podudara po obliku i površini, može se tvrditi da je jedino nova izmjera pravo rješenje za obnovu katastarskih planova izrađenih grafičkom izmjerom.In paper there are the areas of cadastral parcels compared that have been determined on the basis of graphic survey as early as the XIX. Century and that have been used officially until recently, and the areas of the same parcels determined on the basis of new survey. Since the old analogous plans have been scanned and vectorized, the same areas have been determined from such plan as well in order to detect the reasons for large differences in areas. On the basis of the analysis carried out and the fact that altogether about 20% of cadastral parcels coincide in shape and area, it can be stated that only the new survey is the real solution for the reconstruction of cadastral plans made by means of graphic survey
