In connection with the World Cup in 2018 in the Russian Federation, including the qualifying matches of the World Championship in Yekaterinburg, the Government of the Sverdlovsk Regiondecided to place a training ground on the territory of the "Park-stadium Khimmash". For this purpose, a sports field reconstruction project was created and implemented. The article is devoted to the assessment of negative consequences for plantings of the "Park-stadium Khimmash" in Yekaterinburg as a result of the construction, which led to the destruction of 388 trees, 95 of them are pine trees. The park historically originated on the site of a natural pine plantation. Cutting down so many trees led to further disintegration of the stand. According to the project, the replacement of felled large park trees of pine and birch by willow and apple trees is recommended, which led to the destruction of natural landscapes that have survived in the urban environment. At the same time, not only the aesthetic perception is worsened, but the ecological criteria of the industrial area of the city are also reduced. First of all, the oxygen-producing possibilities of the plantation decreased, which is reflected in the economic assessment of the consequences. © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd. All rights reserved

Consider in this article, interesting in our opinion, the results of the study and the proposals of scientists in terms of determining the value of land and forest resources using the assessment options for these purposes. When conducting research on the chosen topic, we completely agreed with the opinion of many Russian scientists, said about the need to assess the value of forest lands and forest resources, which is carried out for different purposes. The most relevant for our country are: determination of fees for the use of forest resources; setting fees for obtaining the right to lease or concession of forest fund plots; determination of the effectiveness of forest land use projects and the effectiveness of forest management systems; assessment of environmental damage and the effectiveness of environmental projects, etc. In this article we have shown only part of the proposals, in our opinion, of important assessment factors and their calculations for determining the value of the forest resource in a certain territory of the country's forest fund. They presented for your consideration a brief algorithm for the integrated assessment of forest resources and sites, compiled from research and analysis of various scientific Russian schools. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2020

The purpose of this study is to present our vision of assessing the recreational potential of the territory (RPT) for its effective management. We suggest using this territory assessment method, which consists of two main stages: assessment of the recreational component of the natural environment and assessment of the necessary amount of investment to use the recreational biodiversity of the territories. The article analyzes the approaches and presents the results of a comprehensive assessment of the recreational potential of the forest lands of the Sverdlovsk region. Created a map ranking the Sverdlovsk region according to the results of research with application for developing a comprehensive assessment of RPT on the methods, developed on the basis of the theory of "games with nature": the method of structured comparison of RPT on the Hurwitz criterion, aspiring to the maximum and to identify the factors dominating the impact from the application of the Wald criterion. Based on the conducted research on the analysis of the influence of forests on the formation of recreational characteristics, the authors obtained weighted average generalized coefficients of recreational attractiveness of forests of different types in the forest management areas of the Sverdlovsk region and identified 10 forest-cadastre areas in the Sverdlovsk region. This paper also presents a developed and tested method for a comprehensive assessment of the recreational potential of forest lands in the territory of the Sverdlovsk region in order to attract investment. Preliminary investment volumes for the development of the Sverdlovsk region's RPT (based on the cost of forest biodiversity) are presented. We consider the proposed territory ranking to be a necessary indicator for effective management of the subject's territories. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences. In this article, we will consider the interesting, in our opinion, presented data of practitioners and scientists in terms of the study of more cost-effective disposal of forest plots provided for linear objects on the lands of the forest fund of Russia. In our opinion, today it is quite relevant to resolve issues around the payment for the use of forest plots for linear objects for our country: granting the right to lease or establish an easement for the considered plots, as well as conducting forecast financial calculations of these options for the provision of land for 2020. In this article, we only showed forward-looking calculations on the example of the Ural Federal District, which has almost 10% of the country's forest land (almost 60% of the district's area), for conclusions about the damage to the budget due to lost revenue due to the choice of the form of granting forest plots, a more complete study of the economic mechanism of land management of the country is necessary, such a task the authors have not yet set themselves. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2021

In this article, we will consider the interesting, in our opinion, presented data of practitioners and scientists in terms of studying the formation and composition of urban soils, which is the most objective and stable indicator of man-made pollution, it clearly reflects the spread of pollutants and their actual distribution in the components of the urban environment. In this article, we have only shown the results of the analysis of the soils of g.For the period of the last 10 years, it is possible that for conclusions about the impact of the existing situation of the city territory on the entire environment, a more complete study of not only the chemical composition of soils, but also the impact of the economic mechanism of land management on the state of the city is necessary, the authors have not yet set themselves such a task. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd
