Recent advances in organic synthesis using light-mediated n-heterocyclic carbene catalysis

The combination of photocatalysis with other ground state catalytic systems have attracted much attention recently due to the enormous synthetic potential offered by a dual activation mode. The use of N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) as organocatalysts emerged as an important synthetic tool. Its ability to harness umpolung reactivity by the formation of the Breslow intermediate has been employed in the synthesis of thousands of biologically important compounds. However, the available coupling partners are relatively restricted, and its combination with other catalytic systems might improve its synthetic versatility. Thus, merging photoredox and N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) catalysis has emerged recently as a powerful strategy to develop new transformations and give access to a whole new branch of synthetic possibilities. Die psychopathologische Beurteilung von Kindern und Jugendlichen in vier kinder- und jugendpsychiatrischen Inanspruchnahmestichproben - eine multizentrische Studie

Bei der Kurzfassung des Psychopathologischen Befund-Systems, werden lediglich auf der Ebene der Merkmalsbereiche und nicht auf der Ebene der Einzelmerkmale Beurteilungen abgegeben. Das Instrument ist Bestandteil der Basisdokumentation Kinder- und Jugendpsychiatrie. Auf der Grundlage der Datenerhebung der multizentrischen Studie zum Psychopathologischen Befund-System wurden die Ausprägungen der Beurteilungen der einzelnen psychopathologischen Merkmalsbereiche in den beteiligten Zentren analysiert und miteinander verglichen. Stationär behandelte Patienten zeigen in nahezu allen Merkmalsbereichen stärkere Auffälligkeiten als ambulant behandelte Patienten. Zwischen den Zentren lassen sich eher geringfügige Differenzen nachweisen. Vor- und Nachteile der Anwendung dieser Kurzfassung werden diskutiert. The short form of the Clinical Assessment Scale of Child and Adolescent Psychopathology (CASCAP) assesses psychopathological features only on the level of symptom domains and not on the level of single symptoms. The instrument is part of the basic documentation of child and adolescent psychiatry. Based on the multicenter study sample of CASCAP the ratings of the symptom domains in the different centers were analysed. Inpatients receive higher ratings than outpatients on nearly all symptom domains. Only minor differences could be found between the centres. Kompetenzentwicklung der Zukunft: Forschung - Praxis - Politik

In diesem abschließenden Beitrag, der von einem Autorenkollektiv der beiden Fokusgruppen verfasst wurde, werden aus den Verbundprojekten prospektive Überlegungen zu Arbeit, Kompetenzentwicklung und Innovation extrahiert. Den Projektarchitekturen entsprechend werden Desiderate von Beteiligten aus Wissenschaft und betrieblicher Praxis sowie von arbeitsmarkt-, sozial- und wirtschaftspolitischen Akteuren/-innen perspektivengeleitet zusammengestellt. Sie basieren auf den Erfahrungen und Erkenntnissen, die aus zwei- bis dreijährigen Erprobungslaufzeiten der jeweiligen Projekte gewonnen werden konnten
