    msufbdThe new Pb(II), UO2(II), Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II) and Zn(II) complexes were synthesized with the ligand containing the diazenyl group 4-[(dicyanomethyl)diazenyl]benzoic acid (L) which were prepared by the reaction of hydroxybenzaldehyde with 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane. The structure of the ligand and its complexes were determined by using elemental analysis, UV-visible, IR, H-NMR, 13C-NMR, TGA, DTA and magnetic measurements. The Co(II) and Ni(II) complexes are paramagnetic with octahedral structure; the Zn(II) complex is diamagnetic with octahedral structure; the Cu(II) complex is paramagnetic and have square planar structure; UO2(II) and Pb(II) complexes are diamagnetic and have square planar structure. All of the complexes were tested for their antibacterial activities against Escherichia coli ATCC-25922, Enterococcus faecalis ATCC 29212, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 and Salmonella typhimurium CCM 583. The test results were also evaluated. It was found that only Ni(II) and Zn(II) complexes are able to inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus3-Aminopropiltrimetoksisilan ve hidroksibenzaldehitin reaksiyonu sonucu diazenil grubu içeren 4-[(disiyanometil)diazenil]benzoikasit sentezlenerek yeni Pb(II), UO2(II), Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II) ve Zn(II) kompleksleri sentezlendi. Ligand ve komplekslerin yapıları elemental analiz, UV-vis., IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, TGA, DTA ve magnetik ölĂ§ĂŒmler kullanılarak belirlendi. Co(II) ve Ni(II) kompleksler paramagnetik olup oktahedral, Zn(II) kompleksi diamagnetik olup oktahedral, Cu(II) kompleksi paramagnetic olup kare dĂŒzlem, UO2(II) ve Pb(II) kompleksler diamagnetic olup karedĂŒzlem yapıya sahiptirler. TĂŒm komplekslerin antibakteriyel aktiviteleri Escherichia coli ATCC- 25922, Enterococcus faecalis ATCC 29212, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 ve Salmonella typhimurium CCM 583’e karĆŸÄ± testedildi.     Investigation of Fe content in Cu-Al-Ni shape memory alloys

    WOS: 000437404000005Polycrystalline Cu-Al-Ni-Fe-based shape memory alloys with different chemical composition were produced in an arc-melting furnace under an argon atmosphere. Homogenized and aged specimens were prepared for multiple analyses. The temperatures of reversible martensitic transformations, namely A (s), A (f), M (s), M (f), A (max) and Delta H enthalpy values were determined by a DSC device. The phase transition analysis from the room temperature to 850A degrees C was undertaken by DTA. To characterize the lattice structure, an XRD analysis was conducted, the results of which were confirmed by microstructure images obtained from optical microscope observations.FUBAP [FF.14.28]This work was financially supported by FUBAP, Project no: FF.14.28
