Raoultella ornithinolytica is one of the three species of Raoultella. The present case report describes a two-year-old child who had complaints of discomfort and fever, and Raoultella ornithinolytica in his urinary culture. Grade-2 hydronephrosis and a 7.5-mm urinary stone were detected in the patient’s left ureter. The stone was expelled upon consultation with pediatric urology department. The patient was treated according to culture antibiotic sensitivity report and continued to be followed-up.Raoultella ornithinolytica je jedna od vrsta bakterije Raoultella.

Realization of a single-chip, SiGe:C-based power amplifier for multi-band WiMAX applications

A fully-integrated Multi-Band PA using 0.25 μm SiGe:C process with an output power of above 25 dBm is presented. The behaviour of the amplifier has been optimized for multi-band operation covering, 2.4 GHz, 3.6 GHz and 5.4 GHz (UWB-WiMAX) frequency bands for higher 1-dB compression point and efficiency. Multi-band operation is achieved using multi-stage topology. Parasitic components of active devices are also used as matching components, in turn decreasing the number of matching component. Measurement results of the PA provided the following performance parameters: 1-dB compression point of 20.5 dBm, gain value of 23 dB and efficiency value of %7 operation for the 2.4 GHz band; 1-dB compression point of 25.5 dBm, gain value of 31.5 dB and efficiency value of %17.5 for the 3.6 GHz band; 1-dB compression point of 22.4 dBm, gain value of 24.4 dB and efficiency value of %9.5 for the 5.4 GHz band. Measurement results show that using multi-stage topologies and implementing each parasitic as part of the matching network component has provided a wider-band operation with higher output power levels, above 25 dBm, with SiGe:C process

Industrial Society is based on mass production and mass distribution of standardized goods and services. The objective of companies is to reduce the unit cost by producing and distributing the same goods in large quantities cheaper than their competitors. Mass production and mass distribution requires an economic model based on centralization; mechanistical, rigid/hierarchical organizational structures; and traditional education. Companies act on the basis of the logic of “produce, store, and sell”. Information Society on the other hand is an indication of a more complex and richer social structure. The objective of companies is to produce mass customized and personalized goods and services for their customers. The customer can buy a personalized good or service with the best price from anywhere in the world. Called “The Age of Terrific Deal” by Robert B. Reich, Information Society requires an economic model based on personalization; dynamic and flat organizational structures; and customer focused education. Companies must act on the basis of the logic of “sell, produce, and deliver”. This paper discusses the major changes that take place during the transition from Industrial Society to Information Society along with basic dynamics of the Information Society

This paper evaluates the seminar on electronic librarianship organized by the Department of Librarianship of Hacettepe University from September 4-8, 2000. A total of 29 librarians coming from public, private and industry libraries participated in 17 sessions and 11 practica on various aspects of electronic librarianship. Majority of participants (81%) graded the seminar as "very good". This paper provides descriptive data about the questionnaire that was filled out by the participants after the seminar

In this study, it was aimed to develop an achievement test taking into account the subject acquisitions of the sound and properties unit in the sixth-grade science course. In the test development phase, firstly, literature review for the study was conducted. Then, 30 multiple choice questions in align with the subject acquisition in the 2018 science curriculum. This 30-question test was presented to opinion of three academicians and a science teacher for the validity of the test. Necessary adjustments were made in line with the opinions of the experts.  Subsequently, the draft test, modified according to the experts’ feedback, was applied to a total of 300 seventh-grade students. After the analysis, the number of questions in the test was reduced to 27. As a result of item analysis, mean difficulty index value of the test was 0.41, and item discrimination indexwas 0.49. The reliability analysis for the developed test was found 0.92 by calculating the KR-20 reliability coefficient value. By considering, the validity and reliability analysis results, it was concluded that the final version of the developed test, grounded in Bloom’s Taxonomy, is a valid and reliable test with different difficulty levels

New developments in technology have changed the habits of people and people can find the things of real life in virtual worlds. Interacting in online platforms and sharing options of social media have made the life of students more easy while Social Media Addiction becomes a problem among young people, causing to mental and physical problems in long run by  using in an excessive manner.  The aim of this study is to determine the usage purposes and addiction level of social media among university students according to age, gender, usage years and daily usage. For that aim, 665 students were surveyed in an online platform at Bingöl University in 2019. Descriptive statistics,  Kruskal Wallis Test, One-Way ANOVA test, Factor Analysis and Correlation Analysis statistical methods are used to analyze data by SPSS 20 software.  Instagram, youtube and facebook were found to be three mostly used social media networks respectively.  Maintaining communication with existing friends, listening music and sharing things are main usage purposes for females while males prefer social media for following a group, playing games and meeting new people.   According to gender, there are significant differences just for conflict factor that males spend more time on social media than doing their daily responsibilities and activities supported with high correlation between gender and conflict factor that males are more addictive. Moreover, younger university students have higher conflict addiction and as students use social media more in years and higher daily hours, they become more addictive in general. Students spend daily most of their social media time for communicating with existing friends and chatting. Daily usage has the strongest correlation with occupation factor. Furthermore, the strongest correlation is seen between relapse and conflict factors and the most effective factor on Social Media Addiction Scale (SMAS) is conflict factor
