    Evaluation of Polutan Ceramic Craftsmen Empowerment Program As The Competitive Superiority Improvement Medium in Minahasa

    This study aims to evaluate empowerment program of Pulutan ceramic craftsmen in Minahasa District. This research was using the evaluation method of CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). The technique of data collection are participant observation, interviews, documentation and focus group discussions,  then analyzed with qualitative technique from Miles and Huberman. The results showed that empowerment program in the form of training, support facilities and infrastructure is relevance with  the needs of craftsmen. The program could increase the income of craftsmen for 4 years (2006 to 2009) but have not been able to encourage either the creation of jobs for the community or to encourage business growth.The implementation of program that supporting by  the availability and adequacy  of human resources, facilities and infrastructure,  financing, allocation of time,  materials and training methods has been able to increase the capacity of craftsmen, but have not been able to make the  craftsman’s self-reliance and  no implications for increasing the knowledge and skills of other craftsmen in Pulutan community. The study recommends to the Department of Industry and Trade in Minahasa district to continue and improve the empowerment program strategy based on entrepreneurial attitude and build up the craftsman’s work group   as a primemover to another craftsmen at Pulutan societies.     Pengembangan Sumber Daya Pendidik Melalui Peningkatan Kualitas Pendidikan Profesi Guru Prajabatan di Indonesia

    This study aims to examine the development of educator resources through improving the quality of pre-service teacher professional education in Indonesia. Literature review based on in-depth analysis of relevant sources. The results of data analysis in the field found that 3.3 million teachers, of which 1.5 million teachers were professionally certified (45%), the rest were not certified (55%), indicating that there were more teachers who were not professionally certified. research shows. In addition, Indonesia is still lacking on a national scale, around 1.4 million teachers. Of course, it is necessary to increase the number of teachers and their professionalism. This can be done with an alternative PPG Pre-service program policy. The results of the discussion in this study revealed that there was indeed an increase in the ability of post-PPG teachers compared to teachers who did not take PPG. However, this implementation needs to be carried out on an ongoing assessment and evaluation so that it runs optimally

    The Mediating Role of Absorptive Capacities on the Relationship of Human Capital and Social Capital on Innovation Capabilities (Study on Woman Entrepreuner in North Sulawesi, Indonesia)

    Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between human capital and social capital on innovation capabilities mediated by absorptive capacities. The study was conducted on business in North Sulawesi Province, Indonesia managed by women entrepreneurs.   Theoretical framework:  The human capital, social capital and absorptive capacities are expected to be the causal relationship model to influence the business innovation ability of women entrepreneurs.   Design/Methodology/Approach:  The quantitative survey method was chosen to test the causal relationship established. This research was conducted in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. The 187 data collected were tested using PLS-SEM with the SmartPLS 3.29 application.   Findings:  The results of this study indicate that absorptive capacities significantly directly influence innovation capabilities. Absorptive capacities also mediate the relationship between human capital and innovation capabilities of business managed by women entrepreneurs in North Sulawesi.   Research, practical & social implications: The study found the ability of business innovation managed by women entrepreneurs could develop if being supported by absorptive capacities. Absorptive capacities could become a significant mediating construct in the relationship between human capital and innovation capability due to the success of knowledge, abilities and skills to generate an innovation.   Originality/Value:  The causal relationship between human capital, social capital and absorptive capacities as mediating variables is not widely discussed in the entrepreneurship literature, especially for women entrepreneurs.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik, pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dan pengaruh secara bersama kompetensi profesional guru dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan subyek penelitian SMP se-Kecamatan Waelata Kabupaten Buru Provinsi Maluku tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif untuk menguji teori-teori tertentu dengan cara meneliti hubungan antar variabel. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Se Kecamatan Waelata yang terdiri atas 3 sekolah yakni SMP Negeri 7 Buru, SMP Negeri 10 Buru, dan SMP Negeri 16 Buru. Jumlah populasi seluruh SMP sebesar 146 dan sampel sebanyak 107 peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terdapat pengaruh yang positif atau siginifikan kompetensi profesional guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA dan besarnya sumbangan kompetensi profesional guru adalah 55%. Kemudian, terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan siginifikan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA dan besarnya motivasi belajar siswa adalah 57,1%. Selanjutnya, terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi professional guru dan motivasi belajar siswa dengan besarnya sumbangan variabel kompetensi professional guru dan motivasi belajar siswa adalah sebesar 57,9%, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.     Rene Descartes says, "cogito ergo sum (I think then I exist)". Man is always thinking about himself and his life. This is self-consciousness. Awareness about improving teaching capacity shows that nothing is permanent in human life but is constantly changing. Therefore, online learning is a thought process that varies from conventionality to professionalism. This change is called awareness of the identity of someone who becomes an educator according to the professional standards of a teacher in teaching and learning activities at school. Online learning forces teachers to increase capacity, especially in learning methods and media use. So far, teachers in Papua have always used conventional learning methods, namely face-to-face in class between teacher and student or lecturer with a student. The learning process, discussion, question-and-answer, and guidance are all controlled by a teacher. However, teachers must improve their professional capacity in teaching, such as no longer patronizing students, but dialogue with students. This change can be meaningful for the world of education in the Land of Papua, especially for young teaching staff, because they are a generation that grew up in this era of change. Meanwhile, elderly teachers are forced to run to adjust to the new way. Even if they seem deodorant, they must be ready to participate in change. What about elementary-level teachers, such as elementary and junior high schools, especially in rural areas? Of course, it will be fascinating because online learning is not only needed to improve quality, but it also takes the ability to operationalize this new way in learning design, it must also be equipped with IT pedagogy, because IT pedagogy itself has not been a raw material for teachers so far. &nbsp

    Pengaruh Metode Pemberian Tugas dan Motivasi Belajar terhadap Hasil Belajar Bahasa inggris di kelas 7 SMP Negeri 6 Bitung

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis pengaruh metode pemberian tugas dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMP Negeri 6 Bitung, Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas 7 khususnya dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris yang dilaksanakan selama 3 (tiga) bulan. Tahapan penelitian yang dilalui meliputi: (1) prasurvei, (2) uji coba instrumen, (3) pengumpulan data, (4) analisis data dan (5) penulisan laporan penelitian dalam bentuk tesis. Populasi seluruh murid di SMP Negeri 6 Bitung yang berjumlah 520 siswa dengan jumlah sampel siswa kelas 7 yang berjumlah 180 peserta didik. Penelitian ini akan menganalisis pengaruh satu variabel terhadap variabel yang lain. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan mempertimbangkan (1) pengumpulan data penelitian dari sampel yang berasal dari suatu populasi yang telah ditentukan (2) data berkaitan dengan suatu pendapat, persepsi, atau suatu hal yang dikumpulkan secara serentak dalam waktu relatif singkat dan (3) data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan bermacam metode, sesuai dengan kebutuhan penelitian. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa metode pemberian tugas berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Dengan kata lain, apabila guru senantiasa memberikan tugas kepada siswa maka akan memberikan memiliki kontribusi yang positif erhadap hasil belajar. Kesimpulan lainnya yaitu motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap terhadap hasil belajar. Apabila guru senantiasa memberikan motivasi dan semangat belajar kepada siswa dalam proses belajar, maka akan meningkatkan hasil belajar. Terakhir, ditemukan bahwa metode pemberian tugas yang disertai dengan pemberian motivasi pada para siswa bersama-sama akan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di Kelas 7 SMP Negeri 6 Bitung.
