Islamic Currency Swap: Can Be the Best Way to Hedge Indonesia Hajj Fund?

The operational costs of Hajj in foreign currencies will always face the risk of changes in exchange rates. Hajj operational costs will continue to grow in line with the increasing number of pilgrims. But at present, the government (BPKH) does not have a currency hedging policy to reduce the risk of fluctuating currency values. Hajj operational costs are saved in rupiah, dollar and riyal currencies. As a result, deposits of pilgrims will continue to be overshadowed by the reduction in value due to the depreciation of the rupiah against the dollar and riyals. Hedging policy is a necessity in the management of Hajj funds. This study will use an Islamic currency swap simulation analysis. According to the MUI DSN No 96 in 2015, a swap is a contract that starts a spot transaction followed by a forward agreement by setting a forward exchange rate. Then it is settled by spot transactions using the agreed forward exchange rate. The results of the study show that the dollar and riyal in 2018 are in a state of high volatility, so hedging is needed to reduce cash outflows. Based on analysis, Islamic currency swap can be the best hedging to the operational costs of Hajj in USD is with tenors 30 days, 180 days, 360 days. while the operational costs of Hajj are in Saudi Arabia Riyal currency, efficient in overnight tenors, 30 days, 90 days and 180 days

Banyak instansi khususnya sekolah masih menganggap manajemen aset secara fisik hanyalah sekedar instrumen pengelolaan daftar aset. Realita di lapangan menunjukan banyak kasus yang sebenarnya dimulai dari salah kelola dan salah urus masalah aset; sehingga berdampak kerugian yang tidak sedikit. Manajemen aset adalah serangkaian kegiatan yang terdiri dari indentifikasi aset apa yang dibutuhkan; memperoleh aset; menyediakan logistic dan sistem pendukung pemeliharaan dari asset dan penghapusan atau pembaharuan asset sehingga lebih efektif dan efisien. Prototipe adalah pengembangan yang cepat dan pengujian terhadap model kerja prototipe dari aplikasi baru melalui proses interaksi dan berulang-ulang yang biasa digunakan ahli sistem informasi dan ahli bisnis. Prototipe disebut juga desain aplikasi cepat (rapid application design atau RAD) karena menyederhanakan dan mempercepat desain sistem. Dengan adanya sistem manajemen aset yang baru; modern; sistematis; valid dan real time dapat memudah pekerjaan mengelola aset sekolah dengan baik dan benar; dan dapat meminimalisir kerugian yang terjadi akibat kesalahan dalam pengelolaan Aset di sekolah

The Use of Picture Book in Teaching Reading for Junior High School Students

The research was aimed at discovering the use of picture book in helping junior high school students learn reading narrative, and the students\u27 responses to the use of picture book in teaching reading for junior high school students. The picture book in this research was Dr. Seuss\u27s "The Lorax" book and the students in this research were second grade junior high school students. The qualitative method was delivered in order to collect the data with observation and questionnaire as the instruments of the research. The use of “The Lorax” book as the tool of picture book was believed to be helpful in students\u27 learning reading activity for junior high school by facilitating teacher and students to carry out all of the steps in reading narrative activities proposed by some experts. The result displayed that picture book has important roles in helping students learn reading narrative with more than 50% responses were positive

Perhitungan Subsidi Pupuk 2004 Berdasarkan Alternatif Perhitungan Subsidi Atas Biaya Distribusi

Economic crisis was decreasing farmer income. At the end, its would be difficult for thefertilizer producers to stabilized production for domestic supply. For stabilizing fertilizerproduction and price, it is necessary to government to subsidized fertilizer. This objective of thisassessment was calculated the fertilizer subsidy through the distribution cost subsidy calculationmethod for 2004 compare to government fertilizer subsidy budget for 2004, Rap. 1.3 trillion. Theresult showed in 2004 the government had to budgeted about Rp. 1.64 trillion for fertilizersubsidy. In the other calculation using 2004 distribution cost and fee for distributor, the fertilizersubsidy increased to Rp. 1.875 trillion. This calculation bigger than the government fertilizersubsidy budget for 2004. It is necessary to reallocate the government budget for fertilizer subsidyand stabilized exchange rate for stabilizing fertilizer production and price at farmer level

ANALISA DAN PEMETAAN JALUR EVAKUASI TSUNAMI DI KOTA BANDA ACEH BERBASIS SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS

Pada tanggal 26 Desember 2004 terjadi gempa dan tsunami di Kota Banda Aceh yang mengakibatkan kerusakan infrastruktur pada wilayah pesisir pantai. Kemudian Rabu 11 April 2012 terjadi gempa yang berkekuatan 8.5 Skala Richter (SR), sehingga warga mengalami kepanikan dan kemacetan saat melakukan evakuasi tsunami. Untuk itu, perlu dilakukan analisa dan pemetaan jalur evakuasi bencana tsunami di Kota Banda Aceh, berdasarkan pemotongan median jalan yang baru pada 10 lokasi di Kota Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dan analisa data spasial dengan cara mengumpulkan citra satelit dan pengolahan citra berbasis sistem informasi geografi. Kemudian dilakukan analisa perbandingan jalur evakuasi bencana tsunami sebelum dan sesudah pemotongan median jalan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jarak tempuh jalur evakuasi tsunami sebelum pemotongan median jalan lebih lama, sedangkan jarak tempuh jalur evakuasi tsunami setelah pemotongan median jalan lebih cepat.
