Generalized -conformal change and special Finsler spaces
In this paper, we investigate the change of Finslr metrics which we refer to as a
generalized -conformal change. Under this change, we study some special
Finsler spaces, namely, quasi C-reducible, semi C-reducible, C-reducible,
-like, -like and -like Finsler spaces. We also obtain the
transformation of the T-tensor under this change and study some interesting
special cases. We then impose a certain condition on the generalized
-conformal change, which we call the b-condition, and investigate the
geometric consequences of such condition. Finally, we give the conditions under
which a generalized -conformal change is projective and generalize some

Spontaneous Collapse of Supersymmetry
It is shown that, if generators of supersymmetry transformations
(supercharges) can be defined in a spatially homogeneous physical state, then
this state describes the vacuum. Thus, supersymmetry is broken in any thermal
state and it is impossible to proceed from it by ``symmetrization'' to states
on which an action of supercharges can be defined. So, unlike the familiar
spontaneous breakdown of bosonic symmetries, there is a complete collapse of
supersymmetry in thermal states. It is also shown that spatially homogeneous

Removal of Large Wharton’s Duct Salivary Stones Using a CO2 Laser: A Report of Two Cases
Introduction: Salivary stones inside the Wharton’s duct adjacent to the mylohyoid muscle are often removed by a little incision of the mouth floor under local anesthesia. However, in the case of relatively large salivary stones, a large incision is required, which is commonly accompanied by hemorrhage and the need for surgical hemostasis, resulting in prolonged surgery. Furthermore, troublesome sequelae such as ranula and lingual nerve paralysis can occur after surgical procedures.Methods: Two patients who had relatively large salivary stones (>1 cm diameter) in the Wharton’s duct was underwent incision of the mouth floor soft tissues with a CO2 laser.Results: In both patients, the stone was removed in a few minutes without causing abnormal bleeding, nerve injury, or sublingual gland disorders and was completely healed.Conclusion: We report the usefulness and safety of the CO2 laser in two patients with relatively large salivary stones, who underwent successful surgical removal.

A case of lung abscess successfully treated by transbronchial drainage using a guide sheath
A 51-year-old man was diagnosed with colon cancer in September 2011, and a solitary pulmonary nodule was detected by computed tomography (CT) scan. We performed a transbronchial biopsy with endobronchial ultrasonography using a guide sheath (GS) and diagnosed lung metastasis of colon cancer. The patient experienced remittent fever after the biopsy in spite of intravenous antibiotic therapies. Moreover, his CT scan showed a large lung abscess at the biopsy site. We performed transbronchial drainage using a GS as salvage therapy. The bloody pus was successfully aspirated, and chest X-ray following the procedure showed dramatic shrinkage of the abscess
A Case of Gastric Polip
We examine patients seeking for spa treatment about erythrocyte sedimentation rate, Takata's reaction, blood picture, gastric juice, urinalysis and so on on their admittion and then repeat these tests once weekly to investigate the reaction of bathing in radioactive hot spring. A 65-year-old patient showed achylia gastrica every time in the test, but he complained no gastric symptom. On x-ray examination we found gastric polyp and verified this on operation
A Theoretical Light-Curve Model for the 1999 Outburst of U Scorpii
A theoretical light curve for the 1999 outburst of U Scorpii is presented in
order to obtain various physical parameters of the recurrent nova. Our U Sco
model consists of a very massive white dwarf (WD) with an accretion disk and a
lobe-filling, slightly evolved, main-sequence star (MS). The model includes a
reflection effect by the companion and the accretion disk together with a
shadowing effect on the companion by the accretion disk. The early visual light
curve (t ~ 1-15 days after maximum) is well reproduced by a thermonuclear
runaway model on a very massive WD close to the Chandrasekhar limit (M_{WD}=
1.37 \pm 0.01 M_\odot), in which optically thick winds blowing from the WD play
a key role in determining the nova duration. The duration of the strong wind
phase (t~0-17 days) is very consistent with the BeppoSAX supersoft X-ray
detection at t~19-20 days because supersoft X-rays are self-absorbed by the
massive wind. The envelope mass at the peak is estimated to be ~3x10^{-6}
M_\odot, which is indicating an average mass accretion rate ~2.5x10^{-7}
M_\odot yr^{-1} during the quiescent phase between 1987 and 1999. These
quantities are exactly the same as those predicted in a new progenitor model of
