Attributes Calculating for Prediction of Effects of Mutation on Protein Function

Tato bakalářská práce se pohybuje v oblasti bioinformatiky a zabývá se problematikou získávání atributů proteinů užitečných pro předpověď vlivu mutace na jejich funkci. Práce má především za cíl vytvořit uživatelsky přívětivou aplikaci, která pomocí specializovaných algoritmů jako je FoldX umožní snadno získat atributy mutací ze sekvence a struktury proteinů. Vyvinutá aplikace poskytuje standardizované rozhraní, které umožňuje rozšiřovat sadu výpočetních metod a získat tak rozmanité sady atributů z různých zdrojů. Tyto sady pak mohou být vstupem predikčních metod a mohou tak přispět ke zlepšení predikce škodlivosti mutace.This bachelor thesis deals with the bioinformatics techniques for the acquisition of attributes useful for prediction of mutation effects on the protein function. The work primarily aims to develop a user-friendly application for calculation of attributes of mutations from the protein sequence and structure. The developed application serves for integration of specialized tools such as FoldX. The standardized interface enables to implement additional computational tools and collect a diverse set of attributes from different sources. These attribute sets can then serve as an input for different prediction methods and help to improve predictions of mutation effects.

Methodology of the Speed Optimalization of the Source Code

Tato práce popisuje metodiku psaní programů s cílem dosáhnout vyšších rychlostí provedení kódu tohoto programu. Popisuje obecné implementační triky a postupy při psaní programu pro libovolnou architekturu. Dále popisuje zvolenou architekturu a s ní spojené možnosti optimalizace programů. Součástí práce je pokus o praktické využití těchto metodik na volně šířitelném softwaru.This thesis desribe methodology of writing computer programs to achieve higher speed of program execution. It describe general implementation tricks and ways of writing programs for arbitary computer architecture. Below this thesis descibe selected architecture and optimalization doable on it. Part of this thesis is test of this methodology on some opensource software.

Arc welding of stainless steels for demanding working conditions

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá obloukovým svařováním korozivzdorných ocelí. Pomocí svařovací technologie u státního podniku DIAMO jsou spojovány trubky, příruby a plechy k vedení roztoku síranu sodného, který je získáván jako doprovodný produkt při výrobě uranu. Vlivem chemické reakce dochází ke koroznímu napadání a praskání svaru již v krátké době. Na základě informací o materiálech, použitých přídavných materiálech a svařovacích technologií jsem zhodnotil použité materiály s ohledem na náchylnost ke korozi a vzniku horkých trhlin. Pomocí zkoušek a výpočtů jsem posoudil náchylnost k mezikrystalové korozi u austenitických korozivzdorných ocelí. Pro větší spektrum materiálů byla teoreticky řešena i austeniticko-feritická korozivzdorná ocel. Po výpočtech a zhodnocení zkoušky jsem provedl diskuzi a doporučení pro praxi.Bachelor thesis introduced deals with Arc welding of stainless steel. With welding technology, used by company DIAMO, the connected pipes, flanges and plates are for guiding the Sodium Sulphate solution, which is obtained as by-product in production of Uranium. Corrosive attack and weld cracking occurs in the short period of time due to the chemical reaction. Based on information about materials, used additional materials and welding technology used I have evaluated materials with susceptibility to the corrosion and the formation of hot cracks. Using tests and calculations I have examined the susceptibility of austenitic stainless steel to intergranular corrosion. Austenitic-ferritic stainless steel was also used as a theoretical solution for larger spectrum of materials. After calculations and evaluations of the trial tests I have conducted discussion and recommendations for use in practice.

Analysis of Consumer Loyalty in the Video Streaming Platforms Market

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku věrnosti na trhu video streamovacích platforem a využívá teorii spotřebitelských hodnot k analýze této problematiky. Práce se zabývá vztahem mezi jednotlivými spotřebitelskými hodnotami a prodloužením předplatného, kde mediátorem tohoto vztahu je spokojenost zákazníka. Dalším cílem této práce bylo identifikovat nejdůležitější faktory pro uživatele video streamovacích platforem. Pro dosažení těchto výzkumných cílů byly použity metody kvantitativního výzkumu, přičemž data byla získávána dotazníkovým šetřením metodou CAWI. Výsledky bakalářské práce ukazují, že existuje pozitivní korelace mezi některými spotřebitelskými hodnotami a prodloužením předplatného. Byly identifikovány faktory, jako velikost knihovny nebo cena předplatného, které spotřebitelé považují za nejdůležitější. Tyto výsledky mají praktický význam pro poskytovatele video streamovacích platforem, kteří mohou využít informací z této práce ke zlepšení svých marketingových strategií a zvýšit věrnost svých zákazníků.Bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of loyalty in the video streaming platforms market and uses the theory of consumption values to analyze this issue. The thesis examines the relationship between individual consumption values and subscription renewal, where the mediator of this relationship is customer satisfaction. Another goal of this thesis was to identify the most important factors for users of video streaming platforms. Quantitative research methods were used to achieve these research goals, while data were obtained by questionnaire survey using the CAWI method. The results of the bachelor's thesis show that there is a positive correlation between some consumer values and subscription renewal. Factors such as library size or price of subscription that consumers consider most important have been identified. These results have practical implications for video streaming platform providers, who can use the information from this work to improve their marketing strategies and increase the loyalty of their customers.116 - Katedra marketingu a obchoduvýborn

Import 02/09/2009Tato práce popisuje postup při změně dodavatele elektřiny. Popisovaný proces je sestaven tak, aby změna vedla k dosažení co nejnižších nákladů na nákup této komodity. První části mapují současný stav liberalizovaného trhu s elektřinou, veškerou legislativu, a objasňují základní pojmy k problematice. Další kapitoly jsou koncipovány jako postupné kroky vedoucí k danému cíli, tedy ke konečné změně dodavatele a to tak aby, bylo dosaženo nejlepšího možného ekonomického výsledku. Jednotlivé kroky jsou doplněny ilustračními příklady z praxe, které dokazují efektivnost procesu. V závěru práce hodnotí nejen výsledky, ale také přínosy a nevýhody které souvisí se změnou dodavatele elektřiny.The thesis describes a procedure to follow when one wishes to change for another provider of electricity. The procedure described is set up in order the change would result in as lowest cost for purchase of the commodity as possible. First chapters map out the existing state of the liberalized market with electricity, all legislative and they explain basic definitions concerning the issue. Following chapters are drafted as progressive steps leading to a given aim, i.e. the final change of the provider in such way so that the best economical result is reached. Each step is accompanied with illustrative examples coming out of practice which prove the effectiveness of the process. Obsahem této diplomové práce je návrh a statistické testy dvou různých hardwarových generátorů náhodných čísel. Obsahuje také přehled používaných zdrojů entropie, algoritmů používaných pro korekci odchylky od normálního rozložení a popis používaných statistických testů.The content of this thesis is the design and statistical tests of two di erent hardware random number generators. It also includes an overview of the sources of entropy, algorithms used to correct deviations from the normal distribution and the description of statistical tests.

Simulator of BDI Agents and Surrounding Environment With Obstacles

Tato práce popisuje implementaci simulátoru multiagentního systému. Vysvětluje základní pojmy agentních a multiagentních systémů. Implementace simulátoru je řešena jako samostatný objekt, umožňující připojovat různé modely prostředí a agenty, kteří v tomto prostředí provádejí akce. V poslední části práce je provedeno vyhodnocení několika různých typů spolupráce agentů.This term project desribes simulator of multiagent system implementation. It explains basic concepts of agent and multiagent systems. Simulator is implemented as a separated object, which allows to join various models of environment and agents acting in this environment. Evaluation of several types of agent cooperation behavior is in last section of this project.

Didactic analysis of the topic of civic and political participation

The diploma thesis deals with the concept of civic and political participation in elementary and secondary school. Introductory part of the thesis defines terms of civic and political participation, there are also findings about civic attitudes of young Czechs based on international comparative researches. The focus of the thesis is to analyze the representation of the theme of participation at different levels of the Czech education system and to compare the concept of the theme in curriculum documents of selected states. This is followed by an analysis of the approach to the topic of participation by authors of approved Czech textbooks. The analyzes show that the theme of participation is insufficiently embedded in the Czech national curriculum and these deficiencies are reflected in the approach to the topic in school educational programs and textbooks. In the light of these findings, a didactic analysis of the topic of participation is carried out. The diploma thesis sets down the theoretical minimum for a given topic. The last part presents proposals of didactic procedures in teaching focused on topics of civic and political participation. Additionally, the thesis recommends projects of non-profit institutions and other initiatives that focus on selected aspects of the topic of participation.Diplomová práce se věnuje pojetí tématu občanská a politická participace na základní a střední škole. V úvodní části práce jsou pojmy občanská a politická participace vymezeny, jsou zde také prezentována zjištění o občanských postojích mladých Čechů na základě mezinárodních srovnávacích šetření. Těžištěm práce je analýza zastoupení tématu participace na různých úrovních kurikula českého vzdělávacího systému a srovnání pojetí tématu v kurikulárních dokumentech vybraných států. Následně je analyzován přístup k tématu participace u autorů schválených českých učebnic. Z analýz vyplývá, že téma participace je v českém národním kurikulu nedostatečně zakotveno a tyto nedostatky se odráží v přístupu k tématu ve školních vzdělávacích programech i učebnicích. V návaznosti na tato zjištění je provedena didaktická analýza tématu participace. Práce ke stanovenému obsahu učiva nabízí teoretické minimum. V poslední části jsou prezentovány návrhy didaktických postupů ve výuce zaměřené na témata občanské a politické participace.
