Estudi de cas a EINA Centre Universitari de Disseny i Art de Barcelona que es formalitza en la construcció d'un sistema de diagnosi que identifiqui el nivell d'ajustament entre les competències acadèmiques impartides en el centre universitari i les competències professionals requerides en l'àmbit professional del disseny gràfic. Vol ser una eina que ajudi a conèixer les demandes de l'àmbit professional del sector, així com a actualitzar les competències del Grau de Disseny.Case study EINA Centre Universitari de Disseny i Art, that is formalized on the construction of a system of diagnosis that identifies the level of adjustment between the implemented academic competences of the University and the required professional competences, in demand within the graphic design sector. The research is intended as an efficient tool for clarification on the professional sector's specifications and a guide to the updating of the competences taught in the degree in design

The Brazilian sectoral innovation system in the field of Tissue Engineering and Bioprinting: actors, challenges and perspectives

The objective of this work is to map the main actors within the Brazilian innovation system framework in the field of tissue engineering and bioprinting, and analyze the main conditioners related to entrepreneurship and innovation. While keeping as a backdrop, the history of 3D Biotechnology Solutions startup, its challenges and projects. Tissue engineering is a subcategory of regenerative medicine with the purpose of repairing or substituting, partially or completely, tissues or organs that have been affected by some disease or lesion. The conventional methods used for the production of these biomaterials via tissue engineering do not have the capacity to mimic the reality of native structures in the nano, micro and macro scales, while guaranteeing the reproducibility andscalability ofthematerials. Technologies such as 3D bioprinting or additive manufacturing could change the way that many diseases are treated in the medium term by replacing the damaged tissues with custom bio-similar constructs. Mapping and reflections based on the innovation systems framework contribute to organize stimulus policies, stimulate interaction between actors, identify gaps and technological demands and periodically organize the analysis and expansion of this system in Brazil

The intelligent stethoscope. Wireless signal communication

Projecte final de carrera fet en col.laboració amb Linköping UniversityEnglish: In this thesis we want to record a heart or lungs auscultation and send it to a hospital located anywhere in the world. To do so, we will use an electronic stethoscope, a custom made Bluetooth device and a mobile phone. We create a mobile phone program using J2ME language, which will handle the connection with the Bluetooth device, will set it up, record the signal, process it and send it through e-mail. Finally, we validate the received signal to make sure the whole process is successful

La societat catalana al voltant de la guerra de successió: Arenys de Mar entre els segles XVII i XVIII

Treballs Finals de Grau en Història, Facultat de Geografia i Història, Universitat de Barcelona, Curs: 2016-2017 Tutor: Jaume Dantí i Riu[cat] Arenys de Mar cap a finals del segle XVII fins ben entrat al segle XVIII va experimentar canvis en l’entorn social, comercial i econòmic dins d'un marc creixent, essent testimoni de les greus conseqüències dels últims anys de la Guerra de Successió (1700-1715). Un aspecte rellevant del període és la fabricació del retaule major de la Parròquia de la vila que es va dur a terme entre els anys 1706 fins al 1712 coincidint amb el conflicte internacional. La realització del retaule ens serveix de clau per conèixer la societat arenyenca de l’època -vinculada amb la resta de la societat catalana-, quins procediments varen seguir i quines dificultats van experimentar per obtenir finalment la tan esperada i prestigiosa obra arquitectònica.[eng] Arenys de Mar at the end of the seventeenth century and until the eighteenth century experimented changes in the social, trade and economic environment within a growing frame, being witness to the serious consequences of the last years of the War of Succession (1700 - 1715). One relevant aspect of the period is the manufacture of the main altarpiece of the village parish which was carried out between 1706 to 1712 coinciding with the international conflict. The realization of the altarpiece serves us as a key to know the citizens of Arenys of the time -linked with the rest of Catalan society-, to know the procedures that were followed and the difficulties experienced to finally get the long-awaited and prestigious architectural work

L'Ús i el rol del català a la comunitat gitana del nucli antic de Tarragona: pràctiques i actituds lingüístiques d'un grup d'adolescents

L'article analitza les actituds, els usos i els rols atribuïts a les llengües per part d'un grup d'adolescents pertanyents a la comunitat gitana del nucli antic de Tarragona. Els membres d'aquesta comunitat són majoritàriament catalanoparlants i la parla dels més vells es caracteritza pels trets marcadament propis del tarragoní i per les influències caló en el lèxic. Les noves generacions de gitanos catalans de Tarragona han crescut en un entorn sociolingüístic que presenta diferències respecte al de generacions anteriors i aquesta circumstància ha tingut conseqüències en l'ús de les llengües per part del col·lectiu: pèrdua progressiva dels trets tarragonins i caló a favor de la varietat estàndard del català, hibridació lingüística català-castellà i atribució de rols diferents a una llengua i a l'altra. En l'article s'apunten algunes de les possibles causes que han portat al nou marc sociolingüístic en què es desenvolupen aquests adolescents gitanos.This paper analyses the attitudes, uses and roles assigned to Catalan and Spanish by a group of teenagers belonging to the Gypsy community of Tarragona’s Old Town. The members of this community are mainly Catalan speakers and the speech of the oldest members is characterised by the features specific to the Tarragonan subdialect of Catalan and by influences of the language of Catalan gypsies (Caló) on their vocabulary. The new generations of Catalan gypsies of Tarragona have grown up in a sociolinguistic environment marked by differences with respect to previous generations and this has affected this group’s use of languages, including a progressive loss of Tarragonan subdialect and Caló features in favour of standard Catalan, a Catalan-Spanish linguistic hybridisation, and the assignment of different roles to each of theselanguages. Some possible causes of the new sociolinguistic framework in which these Gypsy teenagers live are postulated
