慶應義塾大学理工学部システムデザイン工学科金沢大学理工研究域電子情報学系This paper deals with robust control of magnetically suspended steel plates by using a switching control based on Generalized Internal Model Control (GIMC) structure. First, we derive a mathematical model for the magnetically suspended steel plate. The system is a multi-input and multioutput unstable mechatronic system. Then we design a robust controller which achieves both of high performance and high robustness for the magnetically suspended steel plates. GIMC structure is constructed with a general outer feedback loop and an inner loop. The outer-loop controller is a nominal high performance controller and it can be used for the nominal plant. On the other hand, the inner-loop controller is designed via the parameterization of a set of stabilizable controllers. Finally, several experimental results show that the GIMC structure based switching controller has both of high performance for the nominal plant and the high robustness for the perturbed plants compared with a μ controller. ©2006 IEEE

金沢大学大学院自然科学研究科知能情報・数理金沢大学工学部This paper deals with a high performance and robust control scheme based on Generalized Internal Model Control(GIMC) Structure. We apply the GIMC structure to the unstable magnetic suspension system and construct a high performance and robust control system. GIMC structure can switch two controllers which have high performance and high robustness respectively. The two controllers using in GIMC structure are designed via ℋ∞ mixed sensitivity problem. The experimental results show the effectiveness of GIMC structure. © 2006 IEEE

Adhesion Properties of Sprayed Coatings on Substrate Blasted by Multiangle Blasting

Adhesion properties on the substrate blasted by multi-angle blasting with white alumina grit were examined. The low carbon steel substrates were blasted at two blasting angles (high and low angles) in a multi-angle blasting process. The sprayed coating of zinc alloy was evaluated by an adhesion test. The surface roughness levels after the multi-angle blasting were lower than those in the case of normal blasting. The multi-angle blasting was an effective blasting process toobtain improved adhesive properties. The low blasting angle may have contributed for removing contamination from the substrate surface. The high blasting angle may havecontributed for an effective surface roughness to enhance the adhesive properties.International Thermal Spray Conference and Exposition, May 21-24, 2012, Houston, Texas, US

Evaluation of Sprayed Coatings by Electrical Method

A method for evaluating the adhesion of metallic thermally sprayed coatings by measuring the electrical resistance of the coating sprayed on a metal substrate was carried out. The thermal sprayed coatings were made of zinc alloy on carbonsteel substrates, The electrical resistance levels between the substrates and coatings were evaluated. The electrical resistance increases with increasing measurement time. The larger the rate of increase of the electrical resistance, the lower the adhesive strength. There is a possibility to evaluate qualitatively the adhesion properties.International Thermal Spray Conference and Exposition, May 21-24, 2012, Houston, Texas, US

This development was aimed at creating learning device for low level mathematics to increase the students\u27 participation and achievement through discussion learning model in Class A of the second semester of the Elementary School Teacher Education Department of Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto of the academic year 2008/2009. The 49 subject takers was divided into 15 groups of 3 to 4 people. The procedure of developing the device used classroom action research. The action consisted of two cycles and took three months. Each cycle was done depending on the obtained improvement, design and the factor to be developed. The instrument which was used to get the data of participation and students\u27 response towards the lecture and the learning device was questioner, while he instrument to get data on students learning achievement were essay quiz, mid term test, and the end term test. The result was the device for learning low level mathematics, early-class learning material, students work, and increased learning participation. The learning achievement was still low which was due to their low ability in solving mathematical problem. Key words: Discussion learning model, participation, and mathematics learning achievement
