Sapi jantan unggul yang diliarkan oleh masyarakat di kawasan agropolitan Desa Catur di sebut dengan wadak. Wadak sangat dihormati dan disakralkan masyarakat, karena wadak sebelum diliarkan diupacarai khusus yang disebut upacara pengeleb. Â Tujuan dari implementasi IbWini, adalah untuk memperkenalkan sejarah wadak, mengetahui upaya masyarakat dalam mempertahankan sapi jantan unggul dan mengetahui nilai-nilai kearifan lokal wadakdikawasan agropolitan Desa Catur. Metode yang digunakan, yaituteknik survey, dokumentasi dan work shop. Karya utama dari kegiatan ini adalah;buku sakuisinya tentang sapi jantan unggul yang diliarkan oleh masyarakat di kawasan agropolitan Desa Catur. Experimental Detection of Entanglement with Polarized Photons

We report on the first experimental realization of the entanglement witness for polarization entangled photons. It represents a recently discovered significant quantum information protocol which is based on few local measurements. The present demonstration has been applied to the so-called Werner states, a family of ''mixed'' quantum states that include both entangled and non entangled states. Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Teams Games Tournaments (Tgt) Dilengkapi Kartu Destinasi Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Dan Prestasi Belajar Pada Materi Minyak Bumi Siswa Kelas X 5 SMA Negeri Gondangrejo Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) dilengkapi kartu destinasi dapat meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas X 5 pada materi minyak bumi SMA Negeri Gondangrejo tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Metode penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas X 5. Data penelitian yang diambil berupa prestasi aspek kognitif, afektif, dan minat belajar siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, kajian dokumen, tes siklus I dan siklus II, serta angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) dilengkapi kartu destinasi dapat meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas X 5 pada materi minyak bumi SMA Negeri Gondangrejo tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Pada siklus I persentase minat belajar siswa adalah 67,54% meningkat menjadi 74,59% pada siklus II. Persentase ketuntasan belajar kognitif siswa pada siklus I adalah 52,17% meningkat menjadi 82,61% pada siklus II. Sedangkan persentase capaian afektif pada siklus I adalah 73,32% meningkat menjadi 78,37% pada siklus II

A Deep Multicolor Survey. VI. Near-Infrared Observations, Selection Effects, and Number Counts

I present near-infrared J (1.25um), H (1.65um), and K (2.2um) imaging observations of 185 square arcminutes in 21 high galactic latitude fields. These observations reach limiting magnitudes of J ~ 21 mag, H ~ 20 mag and K ~ 18.5 mag. The detection efficiency, photometric accuracy and selection biases as a function of integrated object brightness, size, and profile shape are quantified in detail. I evaluate several popular methods for measuring the integrated light of faint galaxies and show that only aperture magnitudes provide an unbiased measure of the integrated light that is independent of apparent magnitude. These J, H, and K counts and near-infrared colors are in best agreement with passive galaxy formation models with at most a small amount of merging (for Omega_M = 0.3, Omega_Lambda = 0.7).Comment: AJ Accepted (Feb 2001). 28 pages, 7 embedded ps figures, AASTEX5. Human Milk's Hidden Gift: Implications of the Milk Microbiome for Preterm Infants' Health

Breastfeeding is considered the gold standard for infants' nutrition, as mother's own milk (MOM) provides nutritional and bioactive factors functional to optimal development. Early life microbiome is one of the main contributors to short and long-term infant health status, with the gut microbiota (GM) being the most studied ecosystem. Some human milk (HM) bioactive factors, such as HM prebiotic carbohydrates that select for beneficial bacteria, and the specific human milk microbiota (HMM) are emerging as early mediators in the relationship between the development of GM in early life and clinical outcomes. The beneficial role of HM becomes even more crucial for preterm infants, who are exposed to significant risks of severe infection in early life as well as to adverse short and long-term outcomes. When MOM is unavailable or insufficient, donor human milk (DHM) constitutes the optimal nutritional choice. However, little is known about the specific effect of DHM on preterm GM and its potential functional implication on HMM. The purpose of this narrative review is to summarize recent findings on HMM origin and composition and discuss the role of HMM on infant health and development, with a specific focus on preterm infants
