Experts’ Selection for Neutrosophic Delphi Method. A Case Study of Hotel Activity
This investigation aims to model experts’ selection for neutrosophic Delphi method. The phase of selecting experts is essential to obtain adequate results in Delphi method, thus this phase deserves a major attention. The proposed method considers the complexity of the subject, according to experts’ criteria to fix the number of experts necessary to apply the neutrosophic Delphi method. Single-valued triangular neutrosophic numbers are used to measure experts’ self-evaluations and the weights of expertise criteria. Neutrosophy allows us to include indeterminacy, which is typical in any decision-making problem, as well as the calculation based on linguistic terms. Hotel activity serves as a case study for illustrating the applicability of the method in a real life situation
Classification of filiform Lie algebras up to dimension 7 over finite fields
This paper tries to develop a recent research which consists in using
Discrete Mathematics as a tool in the study of the problem of the
classification of Lie algebras in general, dealing in this case with filiform
Lie algebras up to dimension 7 over finite fields. The idea lies in the
representation of each Lie algebra by a certain type of graphs. Then, some properties on Graph Theory make easier to classify the algebras. As main results, we find out that there exist, up to isomorphism, six, five and five 6-dimensional filiform Lie algebras and fifteen, eleven and fifteen 7-dimensional ones, respectively, over Z/pZ, for p = 2, 3, 5. In any case, the main interest of the paper is not the computations itself but both to provide new strategies to find out properties of Lie algebras and to exemplify a suitable technique to be used in classifications for larger dimensions
Computation of isotopisms of algebras over finite fields by means of graph invariants
In this paper we define a pair of faithful functors that map isomorphic and
isotopic finite-dimensional algebras over finite fields to isomorphic graphs.
These functors reduce the cost of computation that is usually required
to determine whether two algebras are isomorphic. In order to illustrate
their efficiency, we determine explicitly the classification of two- and threedimensional partial quasigroup rings
The imprints of bars on the vertical stellar population gradients of galactic bulges
This is the second paper of a series aimed to study the stellar kinematics
and population properties of bulges in highly-inclined barred galaxies. In this
work, we carry out a detailed analysis of the stellar age, metallicity and
[Mg/Fe] of 28 highly-inclined () disc galaxies, from S0 to S(B)c,
observed with the SAURON integral-field spectrograph. The sample is divided
into two clean samples of barred and unbarred galaxies, on the basis of the
correlation between the stellar velocity and h profiles, as well as the
level of cylindrical rotation within the bulge region. We find that while the
mean stellar age, metallicity and [Mg/Fe] in the bulges of barred and unbarred
galaxies are not statistically distinct, the [Mg/Fe] gradients along the minor
axis (away from the disc) of barred galaxies are significantly different than
those without bars. For barred galaxies, stars that are vertically further away
from the midplane are in general more [Mg/Fe]--enhanced and thus the vertical
gradients in [Mg/Fe] for barred galaxies are mostly positive, while for
unbarred bulges the [Mg/Fe] profiles are typically negative or flat. This
result, together with the old populations observed in the barred sample,
indicates that bars are long-lasting structures, and therefore are not easily
destroyed. The marked [Mg/Fe] differences with the bulges of unbarred galaxies
indicate that different formation/evolution scenarios are required to explain
their build-up, and emphasizes the role of bars in redistributing stellar
material in the bulge dominated regions.Comment: 22 pages, 7 main body figures +8 appendix figures, 2 tables. Accepted

Counselor-Perceived Teacher Actions Needed to Carry out Educational and Vocational Guidance in Secondary Schools in Spain
After analyzing the scientific literature referring to guiding actions developed in secondary education, there is an appreciable lack of research on process efficiency performed by teachers. This study explores the practice of tutoring, which in Spain is coordinated by counselors but the responsibility of teachers. An ad hoc semistructured questionnaire was designed, validated and applied within the framework of a collaboration agreement between professional institutions of counselors and researchers. The questionnaire was answered by 102 counselors who are heads of guidance departments because the insight of counseling experts was desired. The quantitative and qualitative data analyses indicated correlations between the profile of the counselors and the performance of tutoring, described the content and predominant intervention models and identified needs for improvement. A much more intensive and direct intervention by counselors is necessary in a system in which teachers are not trained enough and time dedicated to tutorial action is deficient. Notably, counselors coordinate and supervise tutoring, but they feel overwhelmed by the lack of concrete norms and their workload
Key soft skills in the orientation process and level of employability
We understand soft skills as an integrated set of knowledge, skills and values that facilitate the effective, affective and efficient development of a skill or activity. The objective of this study was to identify the soft skills that are most often used in the orientation process and those that improve employability, according to Spanish counselors. A qualitative methodology was used. The participants (n = 57) were orientation professionals. A total of 273 interviews were conducted over five years. The results and conclusions show that communication and decision-making are the most important competencies in the orientation process and at the level of employability, followed by intrapersonal skills, skills in interpersonal relationships, teamwork, problem solving, adaptation to new situations, creativity and leadership
