The development of (static and dynamics)programs with constant and linear elements has shown good behaviour. It seems so natural to combine both advantages so that the results will not be affected by local distortions. This paper will be dedicated to presenting the reserch of mixed elements and the way to solve the over-determination that appears in some cases. Although all the study has been done with the potential theory, its application to elastic problems is straightforward

Level and diffusion of technology in the Andalusian industry (1980–1995)

The degree of economic development of any region is usually related to different factors. One of the most important is the technological level associated to the productive sectors. The technological level must be measured, not only by the appearance of new products and production processes (generation), but also by the possibility of including these products and processes inside the firm (adoption/diffusion). This idea means that both, generation and diffusion of technology occupy a central position in the production system of any region, and especially in some places where the SME´s are a relevant majority. One of the main targets of technological policy is the development of the technological level of the firms and by extent of the region as a whole. So it is relevant to design and study the evolution of an indicator that measures this objective. There are several ways to study the technological level of a region or of a specific economic sector. In this paper, we will follow the methodology of Input-Output Analysis that make possible a more detailed study. In this paper we are interested in investigating the relationship between the industries at the regional level of Andalusia and compared with the country as a whole. The period of analysis is 1980-1995. Our first target is to specify the input side in the innovation process by means of variables such as R&D spends, industrial employment in the R&D activities, human capital, etc., both as a whole and as share of GPD. The second step is related to the analysis of output data, characterised mainly by technological indexes (Saez, 1992) and de evolution of potentially innovative industrial sectors, which include sectors that use mainly high technological inputs and spread technology among the whole economy. Removal of emerging pollutants in conventional and microalgae based biotechnology urban wastewater treatment plants

Wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) reduce portion of the input of pharmaceuticals in aquatic systems, but there is no data available about the elimination of emerging contaminants with microalgae technology. The aim of this work was to determine the average mass flows and concentrations of pharmaceuticals in influents and effluents from two sewages treatment plants using conventional and microalgae based biotechnologies and to compare the removal of pharmaceuticals using both depuration technologies. Only between 20 to 60% of five pharmaceuticals groups is reduce in both WWTP using conventional technologies consisting of a pretreatment, primary settling and secondary treatment by aerobic biological reactor. Using microalgae based biotechnologies efficiency of removal pharmaceuticals is higher than conventional technologies and it increase by using DAF (Dissolve Air Flotation) technology to separate algae biomass

Evolución histórica del inventario de molinos hidráulicos de Alcalá de Guadaíra

Comunicación presentada a las II Jornadas Andaluzas de Patrimonio Industrial y de la Obra Pública, celebradas en Cádiz, 25-27 Octubre, 2012Posiblemente sea Alcalá de Guadaíra la primera población andaluza en número de molinos de agua. Entre los siglos XV y XVIII, la antigua Alcalá de los Panaderos llegó a contar con 40 molinos, en el siglo XIX se citan 33 y en la actualidad quedan 24. Nombres como Cerrajas, Pelay orrea, Realajeo Piealegre, Arrabal, Algarrobo, la Tapada, las Eras, San Juan,Benaharosa, Aceña Trapera, San José, Rincón, Hundido o San Pedro son una pequeña muestra de la serie de interesantes artefactos que aún puedan visitarse en sus inmediaciones, bien en el mismo río Guadaíra bien en sus afluentes de Marchenilla y Gandul

Cambio tecnológico y desarrollo regional: la política tecnológica en Andalucía (1980-1992)

La política tecnológica es considerada en la actualidad como un elemento clave en el desarrollo de los países occidentales. La justificación de la actuación publica ha quedado explicitada en base a muy diversos argumentos, que van desde los esgrimidos por arrow (1962) hasta los mas recientes vinculados a los últimos avances en el campo de la economía industrial. A partir de esta línea, en el articulo se hace un análisis de las políticas tecnológicas de desarrollo regional formuladas y llevadas a cabo por el gobierno autónomo andaluz y su imbricación en planes de desarrollo, piezas claves en el diseño de la política económica de la comunidad andaluza. Se cierra el trabajo con una referencia a dos experiencias puntuales en el ámbito tecnológico: la desarrollada por la diputación de Sevilla y el plan de establecimiento del parque tecnológico de Andalucía, en Málaga, y el proyecto cartuja 93, en Sevilla

Eficiencia de las unidades propias vs. franquiciadas. Estudio según el nivel de internacionalización del franquiciador

El objetivo de este trabajo, centrado en el sistema de franquicia español, gira en torno a las siguientes cuestiones: ¿Qué unidades de las redes de franquicia son más eficientes: las propias o las franquiciadas? ¿influye el nivel de internacionalización del franquiciador en la eficiencia de las unidades propias vs. franquiciadas? Para responder a estos interrogantes, no resueltos en la literatura científica sobre franquicia, se desarrolla un marco teórico y se proponen una serie de hipótesis empleando los fundamentos de la Teoría de la Agencia, la Teoría de las Escasez de Recursos y la Teoría de las Señales. En los análisis, a partir de los datos de la totalidad de la población de franquicias en 2015 -1.232 franquicias-, se emplean tres indicadores de eficiencia: ventas/unidad (V/U), ventas/empleado (V/E) y empleados/unidad (E/U), dividiéndose la información en dos subgrupos: unidades propias (UP) y unidades franquiciadas (UF). Test de medias de carácter no paramétrico se emplean para la comparación de los dos grupos. Los resultados demuestran la mayor eficiencia de las UP frente a las UF, siendo estos resultados generalizables a todo el sistema de franquicia español y ello con independencia del nivel de internacionalización de la cadena franquiciadora.The aim of this paper, focused on the Spanish franchise system, centers on the following questions: What units franchise networks are more efficient: one's own or franchised? Does the level of internationalization of the franchisor influence the efficiency of the own units vs. franchisees? To answer these questions, unresolved in the scientific literature on franchise, a theoretical framework is developed and a number of hypotheses are proposed using the fundamentals of Agency Theory, Resource Scarcity Theory and Signaling Theory. In the analysis, data from the total population of franchises in 2015 -1.232 franchisee - three efficiency indicators are used: sales/unit (V/U), sales/employee (V/E) and employees/unit (E/U), dividing the information into two subgroups: own units (UP) and franchised units (UF). Means test nonparametric character are used for comparison of two groups. The results show the increased efficiency of UP against the UF, and these results are generalizable to the total Spanish franchising system and this regardless of the level of internationalization of the franchising chain
