The Antecedents and Consequences of Ecotourist Place Attachment
This study aims to test some antecedents and consequences of place attachment in a structural model. Ecotourism destination image and perceived value are specified as the antecedents of place attachment, while satisfaction and intention loyalty act as its consequences. This model was tested on 218 visitors to Tanjung Puting National Park (TPNP) in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. TPNP is the largest rehabilitation centre for orangutans and is promoted as one of the ecotourism destinations in Indonesia. SmartPLS 3.0 Professional was employed to assess the convergent and discriminant validity of the measurement items for each construct and structural model. The findings confirmed seven out of ten hypotheses. Theoretically, this study’s findings contributed to expanding the tourist loyalty model; in terms of managerial implications, this study can be utilized in the marketing of ecotourism destinations.

Phase-coherent transport in InN nanowires of various sizes
We investigate phase-coherent transport in InN nanowires of various diameters
and lengths. The nanowires were grown by means of plasma-assisted molecular
beam epitaxy. Information on the phase-coherent transport is gained by
analyzing the characteristic fluctuation pattern in the magneto-conductance.
For a magnetic field oriented parallel to the wire axis we found that the
correlation field mainly depends on the wire cross section, while the
fluctuation amplitude is governed by the wire length. In contrast, if the
magnetic field is oriented perpendicularly, for wires longer than approximately
200 nm the correlation field is limited by the phase coherence length. Further
insight into the orientation dependence of the correlation field is gained by
measuring the conductance fluctuations at various tilt angles of the magnetic
field.Comment: 5 pages, 5 figure
Effectiveness Testing Practices: Educators\u27 Perceptions of the Effectiveness of Their Schools’ Standardized Testing Practices
This study was designed to collect and then to compare teachers\u27, principals\u27, supervisors\u27, and testing directors\u27 (N=484) ratings of the effectiveness of selected standardized testing program management practices in their schools. It was found that these educators, who were selected for being knowledgeable about their testing programs, rated their schools\u27 performance in standardized testing higher than in meeting other district responsibilities. The highest rated testing practices were use of quality tests and materials, maintenance of pupil records, and use of understandable scores and reports. The lowest rated testing practices were the use of test results to evaluate instruction, availability of written policies, and use of publisher instructional guides accompanying achievement batteries. Comparatively, educators assigned to secondary schools tended to rate the testing practices lower than did their elementary school cohorts; just the ratings of the teachers differed significantly among the various job assignment groups; and the job assignment groups provided similar relative ratings of the testing practices with most Spearman Rho coefficients being +.73 or higher
Development of Attitude Toward Teaching Career
The purpose of this longitudinal study was to investigate whether selected academic ability indices and personal characteristics of 117 teachers were associated with changes in their attitude toward teaching as a career measured upon the commencement of teacher preparation, the end of student teaching, and upon completion of their fifth year of teaching. Mixed model two-way ANOVA procedures revealed that the attitude toward teaching of the neophyte teachers remained stable and positive during teacher preparation but were less positive near the end of their fifth year of teaching; that ACT scores, Rotter’s locus of control, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator preferences, gender, when the decision to teach was made, and the initial degree of assurance about becoming teachers were associated with attitude toward teaching as a career; and statistical interactions were identified, revealing contrasting changes in attitude development during teacher preparation for candidates with different personal characteristics
The relationship between economic indicators and Malaysian Real Estate Investment Trust (MREIT) / Nurizzati Marso and Nur Amalina Mat Jamil
The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between economic indicators namely the stock market, interest rate and inflation rate to Malaysia real estate investment trusts return. The study used Simple Linear Regression and Multiple Linear Regression method in order to find the relationship among those variables. The monthly closing price of Malaysia real estate investment trusts index which is retrieved from Datastream database is collected from 1st February 2008 until 31st March 2014. The data is used as it is the best proxy that represents the Malaysia real estate investment trusts sector in the country. From the result, it is revealed that all the economic indicators tested have significant positive relationship towards Malaysia real estate investment trusts return. It means that the relationship between these economic indicators and Malaysia REITs exists. These results would contribute to the literature in related areas and give people a view on current condition of the Malaysia real estate investment trusts sector
Economy of Kalimantan: a Snapshot
This chapter aims to give a snapshot of the economies in Kalimantan provinces. Salient factors such as sharing common border with North Kalimantan, Kalimantan as Sabah’s backdoor neighbor with huge market size of over 4 times than Sabah and the relocation of Indonesia’s capital from Jakarta to Kalimantan, have stimulated the interests of many analysts to research on the structure of Kalimantan’s economy in general

Numerical study of high impedance T-match antennas for terahertz photomixers
This paper outlines an efficient numerical method to design terahertz photomixers. The simulations are benchmarked using measured power levels from results published in the literature. Next, the method is applied to two new photomixer designs based on the high impedance T-match antenna with bias supply DC-blocking structures for either a uniplanar layout or a multilayer structure for improved device reliability. Manufacturability is favoured by avoiding the use of airbridges, substrate thinning or under-etching. The estimated output power of the improved design is 9.0 (Formula presented.), which is an improvement of three times over the reference photomixer
