    Identifikasi kesulitan belajar sains dan upaya yang dilakukan guru sekolah menengah untuk mengatasinya

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan belajar pada siswa khususnya pada pelajaran sains. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Subjek penelitian adalah guru yang yang aktif dalam kelompok Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Biologi di Kabupaten Kayong Utara dan Kota Singkawang. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh diketahui kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa saat belajar di Kayong Utara dan Singkawang. yaitu kurang konsentrasi, sulit memahami materi, tidak mandiri dalam belajar dan sulit mengingat materi. Dari 27 guru sains, 26 guru menyatakan media TIK mewakili media yang dipilih guru untuk mengatasi ke 7 kesulitan belajar tersebut. para guru memiliki keinginan kuat untuk mengintegrasikan TIK ke dalam proses belajar-mengajar walaupun sulit diaplikasikan. Hambatan utama adalah kurangnya komputer di ruang kelas, dan internet kecepatan rendah. Penting bagi pelatih guru dan pembuat kebijakan untuk memahami hambatan penggunaan TIK di kelas. Sehingga strategi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media TIK dapat tepat bagi siswa dan guru

    Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca melalui Metode Scramble pada Peserta Didik Kelas I SD Negeri 002 Benteng Kecamatan Sungai Batang

    This study aims to improve students' reading ability through the first grade scramble students of SD Negeri 002 Benteng, Kecamatan Sungai Batang, which are 28 students with 11 male students and 17 female students with heterogeneous ability. This study is based on the low ability of students' learning outcomes and lack of awareness of teachers to implement an effective, innovative, and cooperative learning. The study was conducted from September 3, 2016 to October 8, 2016. This study is a classroom action research (PTK) consisting of two cycles. Minimum completeness criteria (KKM) and average analysis are used to determine whether or not improvement of student learning outcomes before and after using the scramble learning model. The results of this study indicate that the number of students who reach KKM in the initial data is only 10 people (36%), cycle I is 16 people (57%), and the second cycle is 25 people (89%). The average student score at baseline was 68.4; cycle I increased to 75,9; in the second cycle increased again to 83,6. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the model of learning scramble can improve reading ability in Indonesian language students class I of SD Negeri 002 Benteng, Kecamatan Sungai Batang

    Trend Topic in School-based Lesson Study for Learning Community in Transformational Program

    Implementation of lesson study encourages Reflective Practitioners to get used to collaborating in learning practice. In Indonesia, educational programs have been designed with collaboration in mind, promoting a reflection process within the learning community. This research focuses on trending topics/themes of reflective practitioners in supporting the sustainability of their learning communities. The participants involved in this study were 75 reflective practitioners consisting of school principals (P), school supervisors (SS), and learning committee teachers (T). Through the Facilitating School Program (FSP) Questionnaire, information was obtained that two topics were becoming trends by all reflective practitioners in Learning Community for Reflective Practitioners (LCRP) activities in schools, namely, commitment to improving quality sustainably 85.3% and conducting research collaboratively 841%. Schools must collaborate with teachers and principals to design straightforward school programs so that these two topics can be implemented smoothlyPelaksanaan Lesson Study mendorong Praktisi Reflektif untuk membiasakan diri berkolaborasi dalam praktik pembelajaran. Di Indonesia, program pendidikan telah dirancang dengan mempertimbangkan kolaborasi yang mendorong proses refleksi dalam komunitas belajar. Penelitian ini berfokus pada trend topik/tema praktisi reflektif dalam mendukung keberlangsungan komunitas belajarnya. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah 75 praktisi reflektif yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah (P), pengawas sekolah (SS), dan guru komite pembelajaran (T). Melalui Kuesioner Facilitating School Program (FSP), diperoleh informasi bahwa ada dua topik yang menjadi tren oleh seluruh praktisi reflektif dalam kegiatan Learning Community for Reflective Practitioners (LCRP) di sekolah, yaitu komitmen untuk meningkatkan kualitas secara berkelanjutan 85,3% dan melakukan penelitian secara kolaboratif 84,1%. Sekolah perlu berkolaborasi dengan guru dan kepala sekolah untuk merancang program sekolah yang jelas agar kedua topik ini dapat dilaksanakan dengan lancar

    UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI ORGANISASI KEHIDUPAN DENGAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN THINK, TALK, WRITE DI KELAS VII

    Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi organisasi kehidupan di kelas VII B SMP Negeri 2 Mempawah Timur. Bentuk penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) di kelas VII B SMP Negeri 2 Mempawah Timur dengan siswa berjumlah 28 siswa yang terdiri dari 14 siswa perempuan dan 14 siswa laki-laki. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis berupa pilihan ganda dengan jumlah 10 soal untuk setiap siklus. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan strategi pembelajaran Think, Talk, Write pada siklus I yaitu 73,2 dan siklus II yaitu 80,0. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 82,1 % dan pada siklus II sebesar 96,4 %. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Think, Talk, Write pada materi organisasi kehidupan pada siklus I sebesar 100% dan siklus II sebesar 100%. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar sisNM  V CZwa setiap siklus telah mencapai indikator kinerja yang diharapkan. Kata kunci: Think Talk Write, Organisasi Kehidupan.   Abstract: This study aims to improve student achievment in the material organization of life in class VII B SMP Negeri 2 East Mempawah. Form of research is action research (Classroom Action Research) in class VII B SMP Negeri 2 East Mempawah with students totaling 28 students consisting of 14 girls and 14 boys. The instrument used is written in the form of multiple-choice test with 10 questions for any number of cycles. Based on the analysis of data, obtained an average by improving student achievment after application of learning strategies Think, Talk, Write the first cycle are 73.2 and second cycle are 80.0.. Completeness student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 82.1% and in the second cycle of 96.4%. Implementation of learning using learning strategies Think, Talk, Write on the material organization of life in the first cycle of 100% and a second cycle of 100%. The results of data analysis showed that student achievment of each cycle have the expected performance indicators. Keywords:  Think Talk Write, Life organization.

    KELAYAKAN MEDIA BUKU SAKU INVENTARISASI TUMBUHAN OBAT DI KECAMATAN MANDOR PADA SUBMATERI MANFAAT BIODIVERSITAS

    Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat media pembelajaran berupa buku saku sebagai implementasi dari penelitian inventarisasi tumbuhan obat dan mengetahui jenis-jenis tumbuhan obat yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat Kecamatan Mandor beserta cara pengolahannya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif serta teknik pengumpulan data triangulasi. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan 83 jenis tumbuhan obat dengan cara pengolahannya yang beragam seperti direbus, ditumbuk, diseduh, diparut, diperas, dibakar, dan tanpa pengolahan. Media buku saku diuji kelayakannya oleh lima validator dan validasi buku saku dinyatakan valid dengan rata-rata total validasi yakni 3,6. Kata kunci: buku saku, inventarisasi, tumbuhan obat Abstract: This study aims were to make learning media in the form of a pocket book as implementation of inventory medicinal plants research and to know the type and way of processing medicinal plants utilized by Mandor district community. It was a qualitative research with descriptive method and triangulation of data collection techniques. From the results, it obtained 83 species of medicinal plants with various ways of processing such as boiled, ground, brewed, grated, squeezed, burned, and without treatment.     The selection of learning strategies is very important, the right strategy will support the achievement of the desired learning objectives. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of peer teaching on student engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes of grade X students at Global High Prestasi School on Trigonometry material.  This quantitative research with the quasi-experiment involves variables related to student engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes, while the independent variable is the application of peer teaching. There were 50 students in grade X who were the subjects of research and were divided into two groups that received different treatments: group 1 was an experimental class and group 2 was a control class, where each group consisted of 25 students. The collection of engagement and motivation instruments uses questio  nnaires and observation sheets, while the learning outcomes are in the form of written tests (pretest and posttest).  The instrument was tested using a Multivariate Analysis of variance (MANOVA) and an independent t-test with a significant level of 5% (α = 0.05). The results showed the influence of the application of peer teaching in both groups and the difference between the level of engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes of students shown in the t-test table in the sig column. (2-tailed) line Equal variances are assumed with significant values of the same variables of engagement and motivation of  0.000 and learning outcomes of 0.015, which means less than 0.05

    Abstract: This study was conducted to describe the problem in this research is how efforts to improve reading comprehension through the use of cooperative learning model learnig start with a question on the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 7 Sekayu Musi Banyuasin. Solving the problem in this study is a cooperative learning model learnig start with a question that can lead students to be more active and focused on the subject matter provided through discussions that are conducted under the direction and guidance of teachers so that students are more quickly understand the subject matter and not easily saturated with activity learning. An increase in the students 'learning activities 60.00 in cycle 1 increased by 13.02 thus be 73.02 in cycle 2 and increase again 18.41 into 91.43 in cycle 3 students' reading comprehension ability of the average value of the initial test (pretest), namely 62.86 in the initial test (pretest) to 69.86 on the test cycle 1 with a percentage increase of 11.14%, increased again to 74.86 in cycle 2 with a percentage increase of 19.09, and increased again be 84.29 on the test cycle 3 with a percentage increase of 34.09%. Therefore, based on the results of the implementation of the PTK, the initial test (pretest), the first cycle, and secondly it can be concluded that the use of the learning model learning starts with a questio can improve the quality of learning both student learning activities and reading comprehension in the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 7 Sekayu District Banyuasin

Inventarisasi adalah kegiatan pengumpulan dan pencatatan data mengenai jenis-jenis tumbuhan yang dimakan hewan. Preferensi pakan adalah derajat kesukaan terhadap jenis pakan tertentu yang dipilih hewan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis tumbuhan pakan yang dikonsumsi kerbau, dan mengetahui tingkat preferensi pakan kerbau di kawasan penggembalaan, Kecamatan Bukit, Kabupaten Bener Meriah. Pengumpulan data inventarisasi dan preferensi dilakukan dengan metode jelajah (eksploratif) dan pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara survei lapangan. Lokasi penelitian terbagi menjadi tiga stasiun. Stasiun I (padang rumput), Stasiun II (semak belukar), dan Stasiun III (habitat hutan). Preferensi pakan dianalisis menggunakan rumus Indeks Pemangsaan (IP). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan 23 jenis tumbuhan pakan yang termasuk kedalam 11 familia. Jenis tumbuhan pakan yang memiliki tingkat preferensi tinggi yaitu Eleusine indica (1,21), Axonopus compressus (1,19), dan Sporobulus indicus (1,18) dan tumbuhan pakan yang memiliki preferensi rendah yaitu Musa paradisiaca (0,67), Sida rhombifolia (0,75), dan Clinacanthus nutans (0,79). Komposisi familia tumbuhan pakan yang mendominasi dari 11 familia, yang memiliki proporsi preferensi tertinggi adalah familia Poaceae 39,23% dan Fabaceae 17,39%

    The aim of this study is to measure the ability of the experimental design students PGMIPAU in the practicum General Biology.The title practicum General Biology is respiration with the implementation of inquiry based laboratory activities are generated lesson.The method used in this study was a pretest - posttest control group design. The sample in this study is a first semester student PGMIPAU the 2013/2014 school year in the practicum General Biology. The instruments used is guidance practicum, worksheet, and inquiry test by multiple choice. The results show the ability of the experimental design students PGMIPAU in the practicum General Biology with inquiry -based laboratory activities are generated lesson in the very good category is determine the type of problem have average 96%.
