    Problems and opportunities of using LMS moodle before and during COVID-19 Quarantine: Opinion of teachers and students

    Before the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), LMS Moodle was used by universities as an alternative and additional tool to support the educational process. It demonstrated low effectiveness, primarily because of its episodic use by teachers and students. Mass transition to distance learning in the conditions of self-isolation has led to the increased demand for the platform, but at the same time, it has revealed the obvious problems of using this resource. The article provides the data from an opinion study about the problems of using LMS Moodle conducted among university professors and students. It also presents the results of a correlation analysis of factors that affect the satisfaction of the LMS Mobile consumer audience.     The social capital impact on the effectiveness of university departments

    The article presents the results of assessing the level of social capital of a university department, the mutual influence of the type of organizational culture and the effectiveness of its work. In the course of the study, the concept of social capital was generalized and refined in the context of the concept of sustainable education, as well as in relation to an educational institution, to the community of a higher educational organization. There were tested the ideas of N.P. Makarkin and O.B. Tomilina about the impact of organizational culture on the efficiency of the university. To ensure the comparison of the different departments data with each other there was proposed a method for bringing to a single scale of assessments and calculating weighted average indicators, which made it possible to derive a single integral assessment of the social capital of a department/unit

    Abstract: Introduction. A literature review devoted to the study of adolescents’ economic socialization patterns allows us to assume that the attitude of adolescents to money (conscientiousness of the attitude to money and confidence in their financial rights) is mediated by the characteristics of their personal maturity. The article presents the novel results of an empirical test of this hypothesis. Methods. The study involved 1.145 adolescents aged 13–17 years (725 girls and 418 boys) who do not have independent sources of income. Empirical data were collected using the “Scale self-assessment of personal maturity” (A. V. Miklyaeva) and the “Adolescent money attitude scale” (I. Beutler, C. Gudmunson). Results. The indicator of financial conscientiousness increases with age (F = 4.17 at p < 0.01), and the financial rights indicator undergoes less pronounced changes (F = 1.34 at p > 0.05). The indicator of financial conscientiousness is significantly higher in the sample of girls (F = 17.16 at p < 0.001). Throughout older adolescence, the indicator of financial rights is positively associated with the regulatory maturity indicator (F = 3.11 at p = 0.05), the financial conscientiousness indicator is positively associated with the indicator of reflexive maturity (F = 9.92 at p = 0.001) and negatively – with the indicators of regulatory (F = 7.92 at p = 0.001) and cognitive (F = 3.50 at p = 0.03) maturity. Discussion. The results are interpreted in the context of a socio-psychological approach to personality formation in the growing-up process. The conclusion is made that the recorded change in the money attitude in adolescence is closely associated with the assessment by adolescents of their personality potential, in particular, those aspects of it that allow them to make independent financial decisions. Proposals are formulated for the development of programs of activities aimed at promoting constructive economic socialization of adolescents.Введение. Обзор литературы, посвященной изучению закономерностей экономической социализации подростков, позволяет сформулировать предположение о том, что отношение подростков к деньгам (осознанность отношения к деньгам и уверенность в своих финансовых правах) опосредовано характеристиками их личностной зрелости. В статье впервые представлены результаты эмпирической проверки этой гипотезы. Методы. В исследовании приняли участие 1145 подростков в возрасте 13–17 лет (725 девочек и 418 мальчиков), не имеющих самостоятельных источников дохода. Сбор эмпирических данных осуществлялся с помощью «Шкалы самооценки зрелости личности» (А. В. Микляева) и «Шкалы отношения подростков к деньгам» (I. Beutler, C. Gudmunson). Результаты. Показатель финансовой осознанности увеличивается по мере взросления (F = 4,17 при р < 0,01), показатель финансовых прав претерпевает менее выраженные изменения (F = 1,34 при р > 0,05). Показатель финансовой осознанности достоверно выше в выборке девочек (F = 17,16 при р < 0,001). На протяжении всего старшего подросткового возраста показатель финансовых прав положительно связан с показателем регуляторной зрелости (F = 3,11 при р = 0,05), показатель финансовой осознанности положительно связан с показателем рефлексивной зрелости (F = 9,92 при р = 0,001) и отрицательно – с показателями регуляторной (F = 7,92 при р = 0,001) и когнитивной (F = 3,50 при р = 0,03) зрелости. Обсуждение результатов. Результаты интерпретируются в контексте социально-психологического подхода к становлению личности в процессе взросления. Делается вывод о том, что фиксируемое изменение отношения к деньгам в подростковом возрасте оказывается тесно сопряжено с оценкой подростками своего личностного потенциала, в частности – тех его сторон, которые позволяют принимать самостоятельные финансовые решения. Формулируются предложения для разработки программ мероприятий, направленных на содействие конструктивной экономической социализации подростков
