Perbaikan Deteksi Objek Metode Findcontour Menggunakan Logika Fuzzy untuk Mendeteksi Objek Aksara Bali pada Daun Lontar

    Get PDF

Soil organic carbon storage (SOCS) is one of indicator for soil quality.  It requires several years to be able to detect the SOCS and the impact on crop yields.  A research was conducted to study soil organic carbon (SOC), labile carbon (SLC), SOCS and the yields of Chinese cabbage (Brassica chinensis L.) under organic and conventional farming systems.  The location was at the area of vegetable farming in Baturiti village, Tabanan regency, Bali province, Indonesia, between 08032’93”SL and 115017’64”EL, 975 m above sea level. Soil samples were taken from the land of organic system after one, three and five years of application, and from the conventional system accordingly in the neighboring area.  Variables of SOC, SLC, SOCS, total nitrogen, soil respiration and bulk density were measured.  The yields of Chinese cabbage were obtained from the last five years of farmer records. Results of this study indicated that SOC, SLC, SOCS, total nitrogen and soil respiration, but not soil bulk density, were significantly (P<0.05) higher under organic than under its conventional counterpart after five years application of organic system. The SOCS increased 3.37 Mg C ha-1 annualy under organic compared to that under conventional system. The SOC, SLC and soil microbial respiration significantly 68.6%, 49.01% and 38.5% higher respectively under organic farming system after five years, but soil nitrogen did not increase. The organic system was highly correlated (r= 0.836**, r=0.846**) with levels of SOC and SLC respectively. During the first three years the yield of Chinese cabbage was lower under organic but after five years the yields (25.78 t ha-1) was not significantly different from that in conventional system. This explains that significant yield increases in organic farming system could only be expected after five years of application. Keywords: Soil organic carbon, soil organic carbon storage, labile carbon, organic farming system, conventional farming system, Chinese cabbage (Brassica chinensis L.)

The testis was composed by the cells of Leydig, Sertoli, and Spermatogenic. The cells formation itself was able to be disrupted by exposure to an endocrine disrupting chemical (EDC) since the prenatal period. The research was intended to prove that Genistein could obstruct the formation of Leydig cells, Sertoli cells, Spermatogenic of rats. The randomized post-test only control group design method was conducted towards white female Wistar rats, 12-13 weeks old, has been had one child, could normally eat and drink. The analysis unit was the child of mother rat treatment group that given Genistein of 10 mg/kg/day and the control group that received distilled water, each of them were 15. The research was done in the Laboratory of Faculty of Veterinary Medical, Udayana University, from January to July 2016. The computer was used for analyzing the data using, with ? of 0.05. The result was the Genistein child had an average of 5.464 Sertoli cell, 11.120 Leydig cell, and 48.427 spermatogonia, whereas, the control group had an average of 8.173 Leydig cells, 12.987 Sertoli cells, and 69.547 spermatogonia. There were significant differences between the two groups (p 0.000). The conclusion was that an average of Leydig cells, Sertoli cells, and Spermatogonia lower in children whose their parent rats given Genistein during periconception period

The purpose of research is to know the ideal pattern for eco-tourism which should develop at Kertalangu Cultural Village, in effort to conserve the rich field area from displace farm function to be tourist facility. Kertalangu Cultural Village have the potential culture and nature which become separate Fascination for tourism, such as: jogging track, agro-tourism, fishing ground area, culiner, culture of ritual religious, artistry of dance and tabuh, and the other support facilities. Kertalangu Cultural Village located at Kesiman Kertalangu Village in Denpasar is compatible to be developed as the eco-tourism area because have fulfilled of principle for eco-tourism development. Five principles from nine especial principle for eco-tourism development have been fulfilled as mention in eco-tourism workshop in sanur on 3 – 5 September 2002, such as: has the awareness sense, comitment and responsibilty for nature conservation and cultural heritage, sensitive sense and respecting the social culture values and religious tradition of local community, adhering the exist law and regulation, the development based on approval of local community, well-balance and compatible management system as according to Tri Hita Karana concept. On the other hand, four principles which has not fulfilled yet, are: empowered and optimalisation of community participation and give the contribution continually to local community, provide the understanding which give the opportunity for tourist to enjoy the nature and improving their willingness to aware with nature surrounding, consistently give the satisfaction for consumer, marketed and promoted in accuratly according with their expectation (responsible marketing)

The case group was HIV patients with ACD, while the control group was HIV patients without ACD. Purposive consecutive sampling was employed in HIV patients aged 15–65 years who have received cARV therapy for >6 months, had >95% adherence of cARV within 6 months, did not have any clinical failure, did not have any immunological failure and did not receive switch therapy within 6 months. Chi-square test and logistic regression analysis were performed. Results: A total of 42 cases and 42 controls were included in this study. Significant differences were found between case and control, which included serum IL-6, serum hepcidin, smoking, creatinine clearance, anemia at the initiation of cARV, CD4 at the initiation of cARV and actual CD4 (cell/μL). High levels of serum IL-6, high levels of serum hepcidin and CD4< 350 cells/μl were risk factors for ACD. After adjusted with anemia at cARV initiation and BMI, we found that high levels of serum IL-6 (adjusted OR: 17.682; 95% CI: 3.442–90.826), high levels of serum hepcidin (adjusted OR: 10.562; 95% CI: 2.531–44.076) and CD4 <350 cells/μl (adjusted OR: 4.181; 95% CI: 5.6–12.381) remain as risk factors for ACD.Conclusion: High levels of serum IL-6, high levels of serum hepcidin and CD4 count <350 cells/μL were risk factors for ACD in HIV patients with cARV therapy. Keywords: HIV infections, anemia, IL-6, hepcidins, CD4 cell count &nbsp
