An Investigation of Nezami's Works Translated in the West (France, England, and Germany)
European orientalists paid much attention to Nezamiâs works in the middle of 1700s and tried to present his biography and extracts from his works to European readers. It was started by DâHerbelot, a French orientalist and was completed by Von Hammer Purgstall at the beginning of 19th century. In1710, Petis de Larcroix translated âTourandokht Taleâ from Nezamiâs âHaft Paykarâ into French, which underlain the works of Gozzi, Schiller, and Puccini. In 1786, in Calcutta, a book, entitled âAsiatic miscellanyâ was printed that included twenty tales (anecdotes) from Nezamiâs Makhzan-Al- Asrar. This translation was done by Sir William Jones, the first author who introduced Nezami to the English. But the first familiarity of the German with Nezami backed to 1809. In this year, Von Hammer Purgstall wrote a play in two volumes, âShirinâ, adopted from Nezamiâs âKhosrow and Shirinâ. In nineteenth century, a movement appeared in translating Nezami's works and Nezami's manzoomeheha (narratives in verse/ long poems) were introduced to the European. Consequently, Nezamiâs works became a source of inspiration for some of the western poets, playwrights, and musicians.

From disobedience to struggle for adaptation: âânursing studentsâ experiences of attending the clinical learning environment during Covid-19 pandemic
Abstract Background The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the clinical education of nursing students all over the world. Considering the importance of clinical education and clinical learning environment (CLE) in the education of nursing students, identifying the challenges and problems faced by these students during the covid-19 pandemic helps to plan more effectively in this regard. The aim of this study was to investigate the experiences of nursing students in CLEs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods A descriptive qualitative research was conducted, which used a purposive sampling technique to recruit 15 undergraduate nursing students from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences between July 2021 and September 2022. Data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews. For data analysis, conventional qualitative content analysis based on Graneheim and Lundman approach was used. Results The data analysis led to emergence of two themes of âdisobedience " and âstruggle for adaptationâ. The disobedience theme consists of two categories: âobjection to attend CLEâ and âpatient marginalizationâ. The theme of struggle for adaptation includes two categories: âusing support sourcesâ and âapplying problem-oriented strategiesâ. Conclusion At the beginning of the pandemic, the students were unfamiliar due to the disease, as well as fear of contracting themselves and infecting others, so they tried not to be in the clinical environment. However, they gradually tried to adapt to the existing conditions by applying support resources and using problem-oriented strategies. Policymakers and educational planners can use the results of this study to plan for solving the challenges of students during future pandemics and improve the condition of CLE
Mo(VI) and W(VI) complexes as heterogeneous catalysts for degradation of azo dyes
Oxomolybdenum(VI) and polyoxotungstate(VI) complexes, [C2H10N2][(MoO2)(4)O-3 (Hcit)(2)]center dot 6H(2)O (1) and Al2W24O85C96H64Cl1.33Cu5 (2) (H(4)cit = citric acid) were synthesized and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Compound 1 is a tetranuclear oxomolybdenum complex and 2 is a Keggin-type polyoxotungstate hybrid containing phen ligand (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline). The obtained materials were further characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), inductive coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) and Fourier transformation infrared (FT-IR). The prepared complexes exhibit good activity for the catalytic wet air oxidation (CWAO) and catalytic wet oxidation (CWO) of Bismarck Brown (BB) and Direct Blue 71 (DB) as typical examples of di- and three-azo dye pollutants in water. The degradation products were analyzed by ion chromatography (IC) and the catalysts could be reused without observable loss of their activity

The Effect of Exercise with Different Intensity on Glucose Transporter 4 (GLUT4) Gene Expression in Skeletal Muscle of Obese Male Rats
Background and Aim: The aim of study was to investigate the effect of 8 weeks of moderate-intensity continuous training (MICT) and high intensity interval training (HIIT) on the GLUT4 gene expression in skeletal muscle of obese male rats.
Materials and Methods: Twenty-eight male Wistar rats with 150 25 grams body weight were divided into base control (n = 6), obese control (n = 6), MICT (n = 8), and (n = 8) HIIT groups as study sample. At the beginning of the study, base control group rats were sacrificed. In other groups, rats underwent high fat regime diet for 8 weeks. After one week of familiarization, rats in training groups run on treadmill for 8 weeks and 5 days per week. Forty-eight hours after the last session, the rats were scarified and gastrocnemius muscle tissue sample were removed. GLUT4 gene expression was measured by Real-Time PCR methods.
Findings: Results indicated that high fat diet for 8 weeks significantly increased rats body weight (p= 0.001), whereas both of MICT and HIIT training significantly decreased body weight (p= 0.001). Moreover, the MICT and HIIT had significant increase in GLUT4 gene expression in gastrocnemius muscle of obese rats (p = 0.001). Although, there were no differences between two experimental groups (p = 0.99).
Conclusion: According to the results, the MICT and HIIT increase gene expression of GLUT4 in mixed muscle fibers in obese rats
Correlation of perceived nursing support with stress and self-confidence among the mothers of infants with congenital gastrointestinal anomalies
Background: Hospitalization of infants with congenital anomalies to undergo surgery is extremely stressful for their family members, particularly their parents. The resultant stress can negatively affect parents' self-confidence. Objectives: The aim of this study was to examine the correlation of perceived nursing support with stress and self-confidence among the mothers of infants with congenital gastrointestinal anomalies. Methods: This correlational study was conducted in JuneĂą-November 2015 on 120 mothers whose infants were hospitalized due to congenital gastrointestinal anomalies in the surgical ward of Tabriz teaching children's hospital, Tabriz, Iran. Data were collected using a demographic questionnaire, the Nurse Parent Support Tool, the Parental Stress Scale, and the Parenting Confidence Scale. Spearman's correlation analysis was used to assess the correlation of perceived nursing support with stress and self-confidence. Results: Mothers perceived high levels of communicational-informational nursing support and low levels of emotional nursing support. Perceived nursing support had positive correlations with stress (r = 0.22; P = 0.013) and self-confidence (r = 0.35; P Conclusion: Although the mothers of infants with congenital gastrointestinal anomalies receive adequate communicational-informational nursing support, their perceived emotional nursing support is inadequate. Therefore, neonatal care nurses need to provide the mothers with comprehensive support and adopt strategies to alleviate their concern
Chemical Constitute and Larvicidal Activity of Fractions of Ajuga chamaecistus tomentella Plant against Malaria Vector Anopheles stephensi
Backgrand: The genus Ajuga, belongs to Lamiaceae family, is one of the exclusive subspecies in the flora of Iran. The plants of this genus are used traditionally for treatment of joints pain, gout, jaundice, and as insecticide.
Methods: larvicidal activity of methanol 80% extract and partition fractions of hexane, chloroform, and ethyl acetate obtained from aerial parts of Ajuga chamaecistus subspecies tomentella against malaria vector An. stephensi was evaluated. Phytochemical study of active fraction was analyzed using column chromatography and spectroscopy.
Results: According to the results, among different fractions, hexane fraction has the most larvicidal activity with mortality rate of 100% in concentration of 102 ppm and LC50 of 95.66ppm. The structure of compound 1, main phyÂtoecdysteroid compound separated from hexane fraction, was determined to be ajugalide-E.
Conclusion: The results suggested that the hexane fraction of Ajuga chamaecistus subsp tomentella could be used as a natural and biodegradable insecticide
