National cultural features of the concept “OSTONA” (on the example of S.Ahmad’s Novel “UFQ”)
To date, the problem of language and culture compatibility has attracted the attention of many scholars, linguists and researchers. Different approaches to this topic are being studied in the fields of linguistics, such as linguocultural studies, psycholinguistics, ethnolinguistics, sociolinguistics, history, and literature. Researchers have explored the relationship between language and culture, and have explored whether they are interconnected permanent units or important complementary components
Azeri Masculinities and Making Men in Azerbaijan
This thesis research is about Azeri Masculinities. I searched for answers to the questions -What are the main rituals and life events in a man`s life which make him a real man in Azerbaijan? What kind of paths are enforced to maintain this place in the society as a man?
Through this research, I examined male identities in Azerbaijan - men in political, social and cultural background of the Azeri society. Then, I delve into the lifecycle of the development of manhood. I review the effects of the Islamic religion in the process of making men and reflection Islamic religious masculinities. However, different types of masculinities (which do not fit the traditional notions) such as Azeri gay masculinities are one of the important focus points of my research.
I used self €“ reflexive interpretive methodology for my research, which enabled me to reflect on my memory and my situational experiences and subsequently interpret them. The main theme emerging from this study is that three major life events are crucial for the man making process. First step is the event of circumcision, which has more cultural value for the local people than religious. The second event I discuss in men\u27s lives is military service. Military duty is essential for Azeri men and protecting the land means the same thing as protecting their mother and their family, so the land is also feminized. The third event is marriage, which is inevitable, indeed the biggest life event for the adult man
Features of Programming Languages and Algorithm for Calculating the Effectiveness
The article provides information on the basics of software engineering, programming and programming languages. Software engineering is also defined as a systematic approach to the analysis, scheduling, design, evaluation, implementation, testing, service and software upgrading. Thinking and the peculiarities of the algorithmic peculiarities are clarified, and the mechanism of their use in programming is explained. Programming theory incorporates the formal methods based on software specifications and the method based on the mathematical subjects and provides program development using mathematical symbols and ensures the accuracy to obtain the required results on the computer. The principles of using graphs in programming and dynamic programming are analyzed. The concepts of programming technology and programming languages are described. The criteria for evaluating the programming languages are identified and an algorithm is developed for calculating the effectiveness
Pedagogical and Psychological Features of the Development of Independent Cognitive Activity
Pedagogical and psychological features of the development of independent cognitive activity . Factors influencing the development of independent cognitive activity , information and recommendations on the stages of development. The world experience , to develop educational structures aimed at increasing the independent cognitive activity of primary school students, developing their personality from an early age, cultivating their abilities, moral and aesthetic feelings, interest in reading, desire , desire, emotional attitude to himself and the world around him , research is being conducted on pedagogical technologies that help students realize their intellectual potential. The Importance of Using Database Management Systems in Hospitals
The main function of a Database Management System (DBMS) is to store and
secure personal and corporate data. In the modern era every area of business needs
a DBMS to manage its data, and so do hospitals. Whether the organisation is a
hospital, private health centre, clinic or office, it needs effective health
management. Medical records must have all of its patients’ medical histories, and
even all information about the hospital’s departments, doctors and other staff.
Hospital database systems not only record and keep track of detailed personal
communications and medical histories, they also create current accounts and are
used in cost and personnel management, organising appointments, arranging
patient admissions and hospitalization. This article mainly tries to explain how
necessary a database is for any kind of hospital, the benefits it brings and how it
should be used. It also examines the current record of the “N Kay Medical”
hospital in Khachmaz, Azerbaijan and the creation of a database system for the
hospital to help hospital staff and those who handle the hospital’s data to perform
their work more effectively and efficiently
Problems of Assimilation of Borrowings Belonging to Different Language Families
Borrowing is an evolving phenomenon within language involving the dynamic interaction between two languages: the borrowing language and the language from which elements are borrowed. The assimilation process is central to the borrowing language, presenting a multifaceted challenge. The primary concern arises from assimilation unfolding through distinct stages, each marked by notable phonetic and grammatical transformations in the lexical-terminological unit. This article addresses the complexities of assimilation, shedding light on its degrees, levels, and underlying principles. The main aim of this investigation is to delve into the intricate process of assimilation in language borrowing. The study elucidates the degrees, levels, and fundamental principles of assimilation by examining linguistic materials from diverse systems. By doing so, the research aims to offer a comprehensive understanding of how borrowed elements undergo phonetic and grammatical changes as they assimilate into the borrowing language. Ultimately, the investigation seeks to contribute valuable insights to the broader field of linguistic evolution and cross-cultural influences, thereby advancing our understanding of the dynamic interactions between languages. Drawing upon linguistic materials from diverse systems, the study endeavours to comprehensively understand the intricacies of assimilating borrowed elements. By exploring the nuances of this process, the research aims to contribute valuable insights to the broader discourse on linguistic evolution and cross-cultural influences
Means of Expression of Temporal Deixis by Demonstrative Pronouns in the English Language
The article has been written on the basis of synchronic descriptive method in the study of the English language. It explores some ways of expressing the temporal deixis by means of demonstrative pronouns in the English language. It is noted in the article that demonstrative pronouns in the English language do not have any temporal meaning. The temporal meaning appears in the English language only in combination with nouns which denote time. In the English language temporal deixis is realized in the system of demonstration with the help of word combinations: this + noun, that + noun. The above mentioned word combinations fulfil anaphoric and cataphoric functions and can take different positions in the sentence. The article also covers discussion of linguistic views of scientists in this field. We think that urgency of the work just lies in the theoretical problems discussed in the article. The article is also of both theoretical and practical importance in the view of learning English and developing the science of linguistics as a whole
