THE EFFECTIFITY OF GIVING STERIL DRY GAUZE AND TRIPLE DYE ON THE DURATION TIME OF UMBILICAL CORD SEPARATION
Introduction: The indicator that influence the separation of umbilical cord is influenced by the method of tread umbilical cord that can be use steril gauze or triple dye. Whith the time of separation less than 5 day (quick), 5 until 7 days (normal), more than 7 days (slow). The purposes of this research were to determine the effectifity of giving steril dry gauze and triple dye to the duration time of umbilical cord separation. Method: This research used pra-eksperimental design post test only. The samples of this research were 80 respondents in neonatus room of Muhammadiyah Gresik hospital that used non probability purposive sampling. Data were collected from observation and checklist and than analized using mann whitney test with the significance ρ < 0.01. Results: The result of this research was the separation of umbilical cord on the babies who treated with steril dry gauze were more faster than the babies who treated with triple dye (ρ = 0,000). Discussion: Umbilical cord treatment using steril gauze was more efective because of steril gauze has loose fibers that make air easier to pass through, the air make umbilical cord dry quicly and than separated.

PENGARUH SENAM OTAK TERHADAP PENINGKATAN MOTORIK KASAR PADA ANAK USIA 4-6 TAHUN
Children aged 4-6 years the most prominent development is motor, motor is closely related to physical activity. Gross motor is the development of motion control through the coordinated between the nerves, brain and spinal cord. One way to optimize the use of all the dimensions of the brain is brain gymnastics. Doing brain gym is one type of nonfarmacologis therapy that serves to improve the gross motor. The purpose of this study was to the effect of brain gym on gross motor improvement in children aged 4-6 years.
This research method used Quasy experimentalwith two control groups and treatment groups. Sample was selected using the Purposive Sampling method. Samples obtained as many 30 children. Independent variable in this study ware brain gym, while the dependent variable in this study was the change rough motor of children aged 4-6 years. Data collected before and after the intervention. Analysis used of the data used stastical test of Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test with the value <0.05.
The results of research showed value significant (2-tailed) = 0.001 meaning there was influence of brain gym to the increase of gross motor in children aged 4-6 years.
By giving the brain gym will provide stimulation of the brain so as to improve the coordination of the eyes and hands that can improve the development of gross motor in children
PENERAPAN MODUL PERILAKU KEPEMIMPINAN BERBASIS TEORI PATH-GOAL TERHADAP KEPUASAN DAN KINERJA PERAWAT PELAKSANA
Pendahuluan: Kepuasan dan kinerja perawat berkontribusi dalam kualitas
pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit. Perilaku kepemimpinan yang bisa digunakan
meningkatkan kinerja dan kepuasan adalah perilaku kepemimpinan berbasis teori
Path-Goal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan pengaruh penerapan
modul perilaku kepemimpinan berbasis teori Path-Goal terhadap kepuasan dan
kinerja perawat pelaksana
Metode: Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah
Quasy-experiment dengan pra-post test design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah
seluruh kepala ruang dan seluruh perawat pelaksana yang ada di Rumah Sakit
Muhammadiyah Gresik dan Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Sekapuk Ujung
Pangkah Gresik. Responden dipilih berdasarkan random sampling proposional.
Sampel 2 kepala ruang dan 12 perawat pelaksana baik kelompok perlakuan dan
kelompok kontrol. Variabel independen: penerapan modul perilaku kepemimpinan
berbasis Teori Path-Goal. Variabel dependen: kinerja dan kepuasan perawat
pelaksana. Analisis statistik menggunakan Independent T-Test dan Paired t-test
dengan tingkat kemaknaan α ≤ 0,05
Hasil dan Analisa: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perbedaan
kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana sebelum dan sesudah penerapan modul perilaku
kepemimpinan teori Path-Goal (p<0,001), ada perbedaan kinerja perawat
pelaksana sebelum dan sesudah penerapan modul perilaku kepemimpinan teori
Path-Goal (p<0,001), ada pengaruh penerapan modul perilaku kepemimpinan
berbasis Teori Path-Goal terhadap kepuasan perawat pelaksana (p<0,001) dan ada
pengaruh penerapan modul perilaku kepemimpinan berbasis Teori Path-Goal
terhadap kinerja perawat pelaksana (p<0,001).
Diskusi dan kesimpulan: Penerapaan modul perilaku kepemimpinan
kepala ruang berbasis Teori Path-Goal dapat meningkatkan kepuasan dan kinerja
perawat pelaksana, sehingga dengan menerapkan perilaku kepemimpinan sesuai
dengan karakteristik bawahannya akan memberikan kenyamanan secara
psikologis pada bawahan. Sehingga bawahan akan termotivasi dalam bekerja
