    Get PDF
Experiencing violence is one of the greatest threats to human freedom and security. Consequences of violence, both physical - such as bruises, cuts, fractures, and even death, as well as mental - aggression, mental health problems, low self-esteem, emotional and cognitive disorders, can be drastic and permanent for the victim. Widespread and easy access to the media increases the risk of experiencing violence and its consequences. It is therefore important to make the public aware of possible types of violence and to conduct research in this area to help specialists in the field of psychology, law, pedagogy and psychotherapy as well as law enforcement agencies and network service providers to create effective prevention strategies.

This is an overview article. It presents examples of Internet support for Polish diaspora education, and the promotion of Poland and Polish culture through free access to Internet sources, including open educational resources and e- learning courses. The starting point of this review is therefore to understand the problems of the Polish diaspora and the need to develop an educational offer that takes into account educational and socio-cultural needs of Polish diaspora. The initiative undertaken may also be used to strengthen the activities of Polish scientific departments at foreign universities, schools, consultation centres, teachers, and Polish diaspora organisations that, with their hard work and personal commitment, care for Polish culture, tradition, language and national values abroad, while requiring support from the Polish government and educational institutions, as well as from academia. Marsz Polonia! Przegląd internetowych inicjatyw edukacyjnych na rzecz PoloniiNiniejszy tekst ma charakter przeglądowy. Zaprezentowano w nim przykłady internetowego wsparcia oświaty polonijnej, promocji Polski i polskiej kultury poprzez bezpłatny dostęp do źródeł internetowych, w tym otwartych zasobów edukacyjnych i kursów e-learningowych. Punktem wyjścia jest zrozumienie problemów środowisk polonijnych oraz chęć opracowania mapy treści, stanowiącej ofertę oświatową uwzględniającą potrzeby edukacyjne i społeczno- kulturalne Polonii. Podjęta inicjatywa może również służyć wzmocnieniu działań polskich katedr naukowych na uczelniach zagranicznych, szkół, szkolnych punktów konsultacyjnych, nauczycieli, organizacji polonijnych, którzy swoją ciężką pracą i osobistym zaangażowaniem dbają o polską kulturę, tradycję, język, narodowe wartości za granicami kraju i potrzebują wsparcia polskiego rządu, instytucji oświatowych, a także środowisk akademickich

This paper reports the results of a survey study aimed at diagnosing the presence of teachers in the educational space of the Internet. The theoretical basis for the considerations are the assumptions of the pedagogy of place. It implies the ability to create new places of learning, including the world of the cyberspace, so often used by students. The question of the presence of the teacher on the Internet has become an important issue in pedagogical sciences, and in the wider field of social science. 182 Polish teachers from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region participated in the described study. The obtained data allowed to indicate “Internet places” frequently visited by the surveyed teachers, to determine their interests for supplementing and updating their digital competences using forms of e-learning, for the cultural and creative activities and promoting their creations and exchange of experience on the Internet with particular emphasis on social media. The conclusions contain important premises for educational practice indicating the need to take pedagogical reflection by the teacher and to run concrete actions promoting humanistic values, to support students’ online activities, to make them aware of the importance of critical thinking and conscious and responsible publication of the content on the Internet. As it turns out, the surveyed teachers want to be present on the Internet, use its resources and communication services; unfortunately, their involvement in the pedagogisation of the Internet space and the promotion of their own substantive and methodological achievements in the cyberspace is still minorThis paper reports the results of a survey study aimed at diagnosing the presence of teachers in the educational space of the Internet. Demodekoza — podział, leczenie i występowanie u pacjentów z obniżonym poziomem odporności

    Get PDF
Demodicosis is a skin disease of the pilosebaceous unit associated with Demodex folliculorum and Demodex brevis that involves mainly face and scalp. The role of the Demodex mites as agents in skin diseases remains controversial. They are commensal organisms; however, they are also thought to be pathogens in e.g. rosacea. A revised classification was proposed in 2014 dividing demodicosis into primary and secondary form. Secondary demodicosis can be diagnosed when in patients with inflammatory skin disorders or systemic diseases there is an abnormal increase of Demodex mites resulting in skin lesions. Perioral dermatitis, rosacea, seborrhoeic dermatitis, treatment with topical corticosteroids or calcineurin inhibitors are examples of those conditions. Secondary demodicosis is also associated with treatment with epidermal growth factor inhibitors, transplant patients, patients with malignancy, HIV infection, chronic renal failure, diabetes and during phototherapy treatment. Demodicosis should be considered as a differential diagnosis in immunocompromised patients. Wzrost populacji nużeńca opisywano rownież u pacjentow po przeszczepieniu narządow, zakażonych wirusem HIV, z chorobą nowotworową, leczonych inhibitorami naskorkowego czynnika wzrostu, z cukrzycą, chorobami nerek i w trakcie fototerapii. Rozpoznanie demodekozy należy brać pod uwagę w rożnicowaniu zmian skornych u chorych z zaburzeniami odporności
