This application is made with the aim of making the Koranic learning more Variatif. Tahsin language by language means to improve. The definition of Tahsin is a method to correct common errors in reading the Qur'an. Basically, reading the Qur'an easy to know when the punctuation and expenditure places a letter in the Qur'an.     The Schottky-Klein prime function: a theoretical and computational tool for applications

    This article surveys the important role, in a variety of applied mathematical contexts, played by the so-called Schottky–Klein (S–K) prime function. While it is a classical special function, introduced by 19th century investigators, its theoretical significance for applications has only been realized in the last decade or so, especially with respect to solving problems defined in multiply connected, or ‘holey’, domains. It is shown here that, in terms of it, many well-known results pertaining only to the simply connected case (no holes) can be generalized, in a natural way, to the multiply connected case, thereby contextualizing those well-known results within a more general framework of much broader applicability. Given the wide-ranging usefulness of the S–K prime function it is important to be able to compute it efficiently. Here we introduce both a new theoretical formulation for its computation, as well as two distinct numerical methods to implement the construction. The combination of these theoretical and computational developments renders the S–K prime function a powerful new tool in applied mathematics

    Nicotinic acetylcholine receptor expression in human airway correlates with lung function

    Nicotine and its derivatives, by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) on bronchial epithelial cells, can regulate cellular signaling and inflammatory processes. Delineation of nAChR subtypes and their responses to nicotine stimulation in bronchial epithelium may provide information for therapeutic targeting in smoking-related inflammation in the airway. Expression of nAChR subunit genes in 60 bronchial epithelial biopsies and immunohistochemical staining for the subcellular locations of nAChR subunit expression were evaluated. Seven human bronchial epithelial cell lines (HBECs) were exposed to nicotine in vitro for their response in nAChR subunit gene expression to nicotine exposure and removal. The relative normalized amount of expression of nAChR α4, α5, and α7 and immunohistochemical staining intensity of nAChR α4, α5, and β3 expression showed significant correlation with lung function parameters. Nicotine stimulation in HBECs resulted in transient increase in the levels of nAChR α5 and α6 but more sustained increase in nAChR α7 expression. nAChR expression in bronchial epithelium was found to correlate with lung function. Nicotine exposure in HBECs resulted in both short and longer term responses in nAChR subunit gene expression.     Social support and sense of loneliness in solitary older adults

    Older people are vulnerable to loneliness and isolation. Solitary seniors are more likely to suffer the feelings of loneliness with inadequate social networks. Based on a face-to-face questionnaire survey with 151 community-dwelling solitary seniors, the present study examined the associations between social support and the sense of loneliness among solitary older adults in Hong Kong. The results showed that poor mental health status, financial inadequacy and weak social support networks were significantly associated with the sense of loneliness of solitary older adults, with social support being the most prominent risk factor. Frequent contacts with siblings, relatives or friends were found to be important sources of social support to combat loneliness. Policy and service implications are discussed

    It is easy to find expert knowledge on the Internet on almost any topic, but obtaining a complete overview of a given topic is not always easy: Information can be scattered across many sources and must be aggregated to be useful. We introduce a method for intelligently growing a list of relevant items, starting from a small seed of examples. Our algorithm takes advantage of the wisdom of the crowd, in the sense that there are many experts who post lists of things on the Internet. We use a collection of simple machine learning components to find these experts and aggregate their lists to produce a single complete and meaningful list. We use experiments with gold standards and open-ended experiments without gold standards to show that our method significantly outperforms the state of the art. Our method uses the clustering algorithm Bayesian Sets even when its underlying independence assumption is violated, and we provide a theoretical generalization bound to motivate its use.

    Rapid micropropagation of Boesenbergia rotunda (L.) Mansf. Kulturpfl. (a valuable medicinal plant) from shoot bud explants

    A successful protocol was developed for mass propagation of Boesenbergia rotunda (L.) Mansf. Kulturpfl., an important medicinal plant. Numerous shoots were induced from young shoot bud of B. rotunda mature rhizome on Murashige and Skoog (1962) medium supplemented with 30.0 g/l sucrose, 2.0 g/l gelrite, different concentrations of 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) and á-naphtaleneacetic acid (NAA). Plant medium supplemented with different concentrations of BAP alone or with NAA produced varying degree of multiple shoots. A supplementation of 2.0 mg/l BAP and 0.5 mg/l NAA gave the best result. Ninety percent of the explants induced multiple shoots within 10 to 14 days of inoculation with five maximum numbers of shoots per explant. The numbers of multiple shoots was low during initial subculture but increased after third subculture and were slightly decreased after fourth subculture. Rooting was spontaneous in almost all the treatments after 10 to 14 days of culture.
