El desarrollo de competencias científicas a través de una experiencia de introducción de la historia de las ciencias y las técnicas en el aula

Se presenta una experiencia de formación de profesorado universitario referente a la introducción de la HCT en la enseñanza, que pretendía: -Detectar ideas previas sobre HCT y modelos de ciencia -Analizar textos histórico científicos -Reflexionar sobre diferentes visiones de la ciencia -Estudiar contribuciones de las mujeres a la ciencia -Situar los conocimientos tecnocientíficos en su contexto -Mostrar las relaciones CTS -Evaluar la utilidad de la HCT para el desarrollo de competencias científicas. Se constató la utilidad de la HCT para: -Mostrar el modelo de ciencia subyacente -Comprender las interacciones CTS y Género -Motivar al alumnado Se constató la necesidad de: -Adquirir conocimientos de HCT -Profundizar en las metodologías para la introducción de la HCT en el aula -Adaptar textos originales -Replicar experimentos -Organizar nuevas acciones formativas

Estimation of the Primary Net Production above Ground through Remote Sensing in a Pastoral System of the Colombian Altillanura.

The primary net production above ground (ANPP) represents the main forage resource that supports the bovine production systems and its valuation is essential to help in the decision making on the management of the pastures. The ANPP has been estimated by periodic biomass courtesy, but with the use of the remote sensor integrated into the efficiency model formulated by Monteih (1972), it has been possible to estimate this biophysical parameter more efficiently at different scales and at low cost. The objective of this study was to estimate the PPNA based on a model of efficiency in the use of light for pastoral coverage in the Colombian Altillanura. The work is in the Carimagua Research Center of the Colombian Agricultural Research Corporation –AGROSAVIA– located in the municipality of Puerto Gaitán - Meta, Colombia. The pasture was monitored through forage supply gaps, in 14 paddocks with an approximate area of 2.6 ha each, established with Urochloa humidicola CIAT 6133 c.v Llanero under grazing of cattle with rest periods of 28 to 30 days. The spectral information was obtained from the on-board Sentinel 2 sensor and the global radiation data was obtained from a field weather station. A PPNA observed in the field and estimated by the efficiency model of 603.79 ±189kgDM/ha ± 188 and de 589.22 ±104 kgDM/ha was found, with a coefficient of determination R2 (0.79) and a significant correlation p \u3c 0.01 of 0.89. This methodology would quantify the supply of fodder on a larger scale under the same type of pastures

Local Anomalies, Local Equivariant Cohomology and the Variational Bicomplex

The locality conditions for the vanishing of local anomalies in field theory are shown to admit a geometrical interpretation in terms of local equivariant cohomology, thus providing a method to deal with the problem of locality in the geometrical approaches to the study of local anomalies based on the Atiyah-Singer index theorem. The local cohomology is shown to be related to the cohomology of jet bundles by means of the variational bicomplex theory. Using these results and the techniques for the computation of the cohomology of invariant variational bicomplexes in terms of relative Gel'fand-Fuks cohomology introduced in [6], we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the cancellation of local gravitational and mixed anomalies.Comment: 36 pages. Fundamentos cristolquímicos de la sistemática general de los sulfuros y sulfosales metálicos

Se revisan las principales tendencias que han orientado las clasificaciones que hasta el momento han sido propuestas para 10s sulfuros y las sulfosales. Se exvonen 10s fundamentos cristaloauimicos para un esquema de clasificación de base estructural que tiene en cuenta 10s aspectos particulares del enlace quimico en estos compuestos. Se utiliza la definición de tip0 estructural expuesta en la sistematica general de las estructuras inorganicas (Lima de Faria y Figueiredo 1976) y las propuestas surgeridas para la reformulación del sistema clasificatorio (Figueiredo 1984). Se clasifican 10s tipos de acuerdo con la multiplicidad de las unidades estructurales: monoatómicas, en configuraciones de empaquetamiento aniónico y atómicas (subdivididas en poliméricas, policatiónicas y polianiónicas) y en las demh configuraciones estructurales. Estas se agrupan en cuatro Órdenes, de acuerdo con el grado de dimensionalidad de aquellas unidades: O-D, aniones aislados o grupos finitos de poliedros de coordinación, de cationes interligados o de aniones interligados; I-D, cadenas; 2-D, capas; 3-D, reticulos tridimensionales.After reviewing the trends in previous systematics of sulphides and sulphosalts, the fundamentals of a crystallochernical classification scheme are presented, taking into account the nature of the chemical bonding. The definition of structure type by Lima de Faria & Figueiredo (1976) and further proposals by Figueiredo (1984) for improvement of the general classification scheme are adopted. Structure types are classified according to the rank of the structural units -manoatomic in packing configurations and multiatomic in other arrangements, subdivided into polymeric, polycationic and polyanionic- and grouped into four orders depending on the dimensionality of those units: O-D, for isolated or finite groups, either of coordination polyhedra or of interlinked cations or anions; 1-D, chains; 2-D, sheets; 3-D, frameworks. Diminished emotional expression in schizophrenia: An interdisciplinary approach based on behavioral interventions

Resumen tomado de la publicaciónExpresión emocional disminuida en la esquizofrenia: un abordaje interdisciplinar basado en intervenciones conductuales. Antecedentes: los síntomas negativos representan la principal causa de discapacidad en la esquizofrenia, habiendo sido agrupados recientemente en dos dimensiones: avolición y expresión emocional disminuida, que incluye el aplanamiento afectivo y la alogia. El objetivo del estudio fue explorar la respuesta de estos dos síntomas a un conjunto de intervenciones conductuales basadas en el manejo de contingencias en un contexto interdisciplinario. Método: se monitorizaron conductas de interés y realizaron medidas pre y post a 9 participantes con esquizofrenia negativa persistente ingresados en dispositivos de rehabilitación. El programa incluyó 12 sesiones grupales dobles dirigidas a trabajar la expresión facial y la comunicación verbal, y un plan de cuidados para fortalecer y generalizar estas conductas. Resultados: se obtuvieron diferencias relevantes en la expresión facial, que fueron menos claras para la alogia. La evaluación clínica mediante la PANSS-N no obtuvo diferencias notables a nivel de grupo, pero sí la valoración mediante indicadores NOC. Conclusiones: aunque difíciles de modificar, los síntomas negativos no son insensibles a la influencia de intervenciones conductuales. Resulta necesario potenciar intervenciones psicológicas específicas que aborden estos síntomas como un foco prioritario de atención y cuidado, considerando el papel crucial del contexto en su evolución.Universidad de Oviedo. Testing the goodness of fit of a hilbertian autoregressive model

The presented methodology for testing the goodness-of-fit of an Autoregressive Hilbertian model (ARH(1) model) provides an infinite-dimensional formulation of the approach proposed in Koul and Stute (1999), based on empirical process marked by residuals. Applying a central and functional central limit result for Hilbert-valued martingale difference sequences, the asymptotic behavior of the formulated H-valued empirical process, also indexed by H, is obtained under the null hypothesis. The limiting process is H-valued generalized (i.e., indexed by H) Wiener process, leading to an asymptotically distribution free test. Consistency is also analyzed. The case of misspecified autocorrelation operator of the ARH(1) process is addressed as well. Beyond the Euclidean setting, this approach allows to implement goodness of fit testing in the context of manifold and spherical functional autoregressive processes
