Modelling the intermixing effects in highly strained asymmetric InGaAs/GaAs quantum well

In this work, we have theoretically investigated the intermixing effect in highly strained In$_{0.3}$Ga$_{0.7}$As/GaAs quantum well (QW) taking into consideration the composition profile change resulting from in-situ indium surface segregation. To study the impact of the segregation effects on the postgrowth intermixing, one dimensional steady state Schrodinger equation and Fick's second law of diffusion have been numerically solved by using the finite difference methods. The impact of the In/Ga interdiffusion on the QW emission energy is considered for different In segregation coefficients. Our results show that the intermixed QW emission energy is strongly dependent on the segregation effects. The interdiffusion enhanced energy shift is found to be considerably reduced for higher segregation coefficients. This work adds a considerable insight into the understanding and modelling of the effects of interdiffusion in semiconductor nanostructures.Comment: 6 pages, 4 figure

Analisis Kualitas Produk Teh Hijau dengan Menggunakan Metodologi Six Sigma (Dmaic) di PT. Mitra Kerinci

PT. Mitra Kerinci merupakan salah satu Perusahaan teh di Indonesia yang memproduksi teh dalam kemasan dan pemasok untuk Perusahaan minuman teh domestik maupun Internasional. Dalam perkembangan bisnisnya, Perusahaan selalu berupaya mengatasi permasalahan produk yang di luar spesifikasi. Untuk itu perlu peningkatan kualitas dalam mengurangi variasi yang timbul disetiap proses untuk menurunkan jumlah produk yang di luar spesifikasi. Dalam penelitian ini, metodologi Six Sigma digunakan sebagai upaya perbaikan dan pengendalian kualitas untuk menganalisis kualitas produk dan kinerja proses di PT. Mitra Kerinci. Dengan penerapan metodologi ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas produk dan memperbaiki kinerja proses sehingga mencapai tingkat kinerja kualitas 6 sigma. Kata Kunci: kualitas dan metodologi Six Sigma. PT. Mitra Kerinci is one tea company in Indonesia to produce tea in packaging and suppliers for the company's domestic and International tea drinks. In the development of its business, the company is always working to resolve problems of the product out of the specifications. Therefore the company need to improve the quality in reducing the variations that arise in every process to reducing the amount of products out of the specifications. In this study, the Six Sigma methodology used as a corrective tool and a quality control tool for analyzing the quality of product and process performance in PT. Mitra Kerinci. By applying this methodology, the process and product performance of the company expected to increase and achieve the level of performance quality of 6 sigma. Pelaksanaan Pidana Pelatihan Kerja Terhadap Anak Pelaku Tindak Pidana

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pidana pelatihan kerja terhadap anak pelaku tindak pidana di Balai Rehabilitasi Sosial Anak Memerlukan Perlindungan Khusus Alyatama Jambi dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam proses pelaksanaan pidana pelatihan kerja tersebut. Dengan menggunakan metode yuridis empiris, penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1). Pelaksanan pidana pelatihan kerja di Balai Rehabilitasi Sosial Anak Memerlukan Perlindungan Khusus Alyatama Jambi dapat dikatakan belum terlaksana, Balai Rehabilitasi Sosial Anak Memerlukan Perlindungan Khusus Alyatama Jambi sebagai tempat pelaksanaan pelatihan kerja tersebut belum memberikan pelatihan kerja dikarenakan belum adanya Peraturan Pemerintah mengenai pelaksanaan pidana pelatihan kerja, sehingga Balai Rehabilitasi Sosial tersebut hanya memberikan Rehabilitasi berupa Terapi-terapi mulai dari terapi Psikososial hingga terapi mental dan spiritual 2). Kendala yang dihadapiyaitu dari Peraturan pelaksana yang belum ada, sarana dan prasaraan pendukung belum tersedia, serta belum adanya petugas yang secara khusus memberikan pelatihan kerja terhadap anak pelaku tindak pidana. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of job training crimes against children who are criminal offenders at the Child Social Rehabilitation Center in Need of Special Protection, Alyatama Jambi and the obstacles faced in the process of implementing the job training criminal.. The research method used is empirical juridical legal research. The results of the study are: 1). It can be said that the implementation of job training crimes at the Child Social Rehabilitation Center Requires Special Protection Alyatama Jambi has not been implemented, the Child Social Rehabilitation Center Needs Special Protection Alyatama Jambi as a place for implementing job training has not provided job training because there is no Government Regulation regarding the implementation of job training penalties, so The Social Rehabilitation Center only provides Rehabilitation in the form of therapies ranging from psychosocial therapy to mental and spiritual therapy 2). Integration Efforts Estimation in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Applications

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is an emerging area of software engineering, based on the concept of re-usable services to support the development of rapid, economical and stable distributed application even in heterogeneous environments. Function point is considered an accurate and well established approach among its competitors to estimate the efforts, size and functionality of software development projects. Estimating the cost, size and efforts for SOA application is a difficult task due to its diverse nature and loose coupling behavior, which results in an inaccurate estimate to measure the efforts, size and functionality of SOA applications. This research paper highlights the integration efforts estimation using a work flow model, to accurately estimate the efforts and cost needed for SOA application. Pengaruh Kepuasan Kerja Terhadap Disiplin Kerja Dan Komitmen Organisasional (Studi Pada Karyawan Pt.pln (Persero) Distribusi Jawa Timur Area Malang)

The purpose of this research to illustrate and explain : job satisfaction, job discipline and organizational commitment. Kind research used is explanatory research with quantitative approach. Population and sample in this study were all employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution of East Java Malang area amount 70 people. Data collection methods used in this study was a questionnaire. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results of path analysis indicate: job satisfaction variables have a significant influence and positive impact on job discipline with beta coefficient of 0.653 and a probability of 0.000; job satisfaction variables have a significant influence and positive impact on organizational commitment with a beta coefficient of 0.265 and a probability equal to 0.019; variable job discipline has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment with a beta coefficient of 0.531 and a probability of 0.000; and the effect of indirect job satisfaction to organizational commitment through job discipline with beta coefficient of 0.347 with a total effect of 0.611
