    Perencanaan Sistem Penyediaan Air Bersih di Kecamatan Belitang Kabupaten Sekadau Provinsi Kalimantan Barat

    Kecamatan Belitang memiliki sumber air baku yang melimpah, namun sampai saat ini belum tersedia fasilitas sarana sistem penyediaan air bersih. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan perencanaan sistem penyediaan air bersih. Tujuan dari perencanaan ini untuk mengetahui aspek kualitas, kuantitas, kontinuitas air baku dan merencanakan sistem penyediaan air bersih di Kecamatan Belitang seperti merencanakan intake, pipa transmisi dan bangunan Instalasi Pengolahan Air (IPA). Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan penyebaran kuesioner untuk mengetahui kondisi masyarakat, pengambilan sampel air, survei topografi menggunakan GPS. Hasil analisis yang didapatkan yaitu analisis ketersediaan air baku dengan metode Mock dimana sebelumnya didapatkan hasil evapotranspirasi kemudian cari debit untuk selanjutnya dilakukan perhitungan debit andalan 99% dengan cara Weibull, analisis kebutuhan air bersih domestik dan non domestik penduduk Kecamatan Belitang selama 20 tahun, analisis kualitas air baku dengan cara pengujian sampel air secara in-situ dan ex-situ. Hasil uji kualitas, direncanakan sistem penyediaan air bersih untuk Kecamatan Belitang meliputi perencanaan intake, pipa transmisi dan bangunan Instalasi Pengolahan Air (IPA). Berdasarkan hasil uji kualitas air baku ada beberapa parameter yang tidak sesuai dengan baku mutu. Perlu dilakukan pengolahan untuk menyesuaikan dengan baku mutu air bersih yaitu parameter TSS, pH, Nitrat sebagai N, dan Besi. Hasil uji tersebut sistem pengolahan yang digunakan yaitu koagulasi, flokulasi, sedimentasi, filtrasi dan desinfeksi. Total kebutuhan air bersih pada jam puncak penduduk Kecamatan Belitang Tahun 2034 sebesar 0,03 m3/detik atau 30 liter/detik. Debit yang didapatkan dari perhitungan debit andalan probabilitas 99% sebesar 6,076 m3/detik dan hasil debit terukur dilapangan sebesar 17,07 m3/detik. Jenis intake yang digunakan yaitu Floating Intake. Rencana pipa transmisi dari intake ke bangunan IPA menggunakan satu jalur pengaliran dengan panjang pipa yang direncanakan 150 meter dan berdiameter 200 mm dengan pipa yang digunakan yaitu pipa HDPE. Jenis bak koagulasi yang digunakan yaitu tipe hidrolis dengan terjunan dan dimensi bak 1,2 x 1,2 x 1,2 m. Bak flokulasi didesain menggunakan sumber energi gravitasi berupa saluran berbelok-belok yang berbentuk vertikal dan demensi bak 6 x 2 x 3 m. Bak sedimentasi berjumlah 1 buah dengan dimensi bak 12,7 x 4,2 x 3 m. Filter yang digunakan saringan pasir cepat dengan dimensi bak 3,4 x 1,7 x 2 m. Desinfektan yang digunakan adalah kaporit untuk dimensi bak desinfeksi 1,7 x 1,6 x 1,6 m. Kapasitas reservoir air bersih yaitu 518,4 m3 dengan dimensi 13,2 x 13 x 3 m

    The impact of social media such as YouTube, WhatsApp, Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook and so on has positive and negative impacts on students. Positive impacts, for example, will have creativity, have innovation in the development of science, and be used as an online business. The negative impact of foreign culture on students has reached an alarming stage because there is a tendency for students to have forgotten the culture of their own people. The culture of following along with Appearance or how to dress, following tick-tock trends, style of language in speaking, and shopping online, and always playing online games will affect the volume of brain cells so that the level of intelligence will decrease. Based on the above problems, the researchers conducted outreach to students in the private Madrasah Aliyah Hall, Pinogaluman District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency with the aim of (1) strengthening and inculcating national character values for students in private Madrasah Aliyah, Pinogaluman District, Regency Bolaang Mongondow Utara. (2) Increasing students' awareness of their behavior while in the Madrasah environment. (3) Building a good cooperative relationship between teachers and parents of students.     Isolation and detection of taxol, an anticancer drug produced from Lasiodiplodia theobromae, an endophytic fungus of the medicinal plant Morinda citrifolia

    To determine the production of taxol from an endophytic fungus, Lasiodiplodia theobromae isolated from the medicinal plant Morinda citrifolia and also, to evaluate its cytotoxicity against human breast cancer cell line, taxol produced by the test fungus in MID culture medium was isolated for its characterization. The presence of taxol was confirmed by different chromatographic and spectroscopic analyses. The quantity of taxol produced by the fungus was calculated and estimated to be 245 ÎĽg/l. The fungal taxol was tested for its bioactivity against human cancer cell line (MCF-7) and the results showed that, the taxol possessed anticancer activity. The production of taxol was achieved from an endophytic fungus, L. theobromae. The screened taxol showed a potential toxicity against breast cancer cell lines. Fungal based production of taxol from an endophytic fungus would be the most desirable and alternate source of supply. This study proved that the fungal endophyte L. theobromae is an excellent candidate for an alternate source of taxol supply. Confirmations of the in vitro activity of taxol against human breast cancer cell lines should encourage further research. Furthermore, it is the first report of the screening of taxol from the fungus L. theobromae, isolated from the medicinal plant M. citrifolia.Key words: Endophytic fungus, Lasiodiplodia theobromae, anticancer drug, taxol production, cytotoxicity test

    Using English Movie with Delay and Non Delay Subtitle to Improve Listening Skill

    The aim of the study was  to  analyze  and  describe  the  process of  improving students’ listening skill for eleventh grade students of MAN 1 Majene, West Sulawesi Province through  watching English movies. The subject of this research is XI Agama 2 Class that consisted of 16 students. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which the writer works  collaboratively with the English teacher. The results in this study indicate that there  was  improvement of the students’ skill listening. Most of the students gradually gained good scores at the end of the cycle. The data were collected from a questionnaire, observation note of performance, pre-test and post-test. The study was conducted with cycle model through the steps of planning, conducting, observation, and reflection. The results of this study show a significant relationship between students' learning by English movie with delay subtitle related to their listening skills as shown in their improvement of post- test and positive responses of students than  E nglish movie  with not delay. The questionnaire shows that more than 75% students felt easy to understand listening materials from native speakers. Consequently, it was suggested that teaching learning process using English movie with English subtitle is recommended  into  learning  process  to  improve students' listening skills in English language classroom. In conclusion, watching English movie can improve students listening skill

    Transylvania's physico-geographic factors distinguish it as a well-structured depression unit. Climate and relief features give it an unitary systemic functioning, which can be said about river water runoff. The three main rivers are well monitored by hydrometric stations located at the limits of the region. The length of flow strings has allowed real river flow analysis. Correlations between flow and time demonstrate the land’s systemic unity from a hydrological point of view. The variation of annual, seasonal and monthly averages indicates unitary variation laws. The values of the specific flow and the depth of surface runoff highlight the influence of the local factors, which incubate flow differentials
