Leakage current problem can happen in Cathodic Protection (CP) system installation. It could affect the performance of underground facilities such as piping, building structure, and earthing system. Worse can happen is rapid corrosion where disturbance to plant operation plus expensive maintenance cost. Occasionally, if it seems, tracing its root cause could be tedious. The traditional method called line current measurement is still valid effective. It involves isolating one by one of the affected underground structures. The recent methods are Close Interval Potential Survey and Pipeline Current Mapper were better and faster. On top of the mentioned method, there is a need to enhance further by synthesizing with the latest visual methods. Therefore, this paper describes research works on Infrared Thermography Quantitative (IRTQ) method as resolution of leakage current problem in CP system. The scope of study merely focuses on tracing the root cause of leakage current occurring at the CP system lube base oil plant. The results of experiment adherence to the hypothesis drawn. Consequently, res

Springback is one of the most common defects found in the metal forming of automotive parts. There are three conditions which can be considered as springback i.e. flange angle change, sidewall curl and twist springback and among them, twist springback is the most complicated problem. This study will focuses on the development of finite element simulation model of the twist forming process. The main aim of this project is to investigate the parameters that may affect the twist springback. Few parameters including twist angle, hardening constant and thickness are explored using finite element (FE) software ANSYS Workbench (16.0). The rectangular mild strips are used to form the twist forming. The standard material properties and stress-strain curve of mild steel had been used to get the springback prediction. The results of springback were measured by the difference of the bending angles before and after unloading process. The results were then be validated with the research made of Dwivedi et al., (2002). The results show that the springback angle reduces as the thickness of strips are increased and also as the angle of twist increases

This research is a Research and Development (R & D). The development process has been done with reference to 4-D model with steps of Defenition, Design, Development, and Disseminate. Research was conducted in FKIP UR. This research aims to obtain a student worksheet oriented scientific approach on the subject of the acid-base solution for class XI SMA. The research and development with 4-D model was conducted only until Development step, because the purpose of this research was limited to develop and produce a valid student worksheet to be implemented based on validator assessment. Feasibility of student worksheet was evaluated from feasibility of content, language, presentation, graphical and scientific approach aspects. Student worksheet validation result obtained an average value as 4,53 which showed that student worksheet which developed was valid. Means, student worksheet oriented scientific approach on the subject of the acid-base solution for class XI SMA that was developed, suitable to be used in learning process

The study examined channel and market structure of dried fish in Maiduguri Metropolis of Borno State, Nigeria. Data were obtained using structured questionnaire. Three (3) major dried fish markets were purposely selected out of the seven (7) markets in the study area to reflect areas where dried fish sellers are predominantly found. A total of 100 respondents from the three (3) markets were randomly selected for the study. Descriptive statistics, Ginni coefficient, least square simple regression and budgetary techniques were used as analytical tools. The result reveals that marketing channel is divided into wholesalers and retailers of fresh and processed fish (dried fish). The finding also indicates that the values of Ginni coefficient were (0.5478) and (0.5252) for wholesalers and retailers, respectively. And the dried fish market had non competitive behaviour with monopolistic nature. The finding also reveals that (82%) of the marketers engaged in marketing Grade C dried fish products. The result of economies of scale reveals that the coefficient of wholesalers was (-0.005) while that of retailers was (-0.741) and are all negative but, statistically significant at 1% and 5%, respectively. It was recommended that local dried fish marketers should be organized into cooperative groups and government should provide adequate infrastructural facilities such as good road net work and market facilities. Stress is a physical, mental and emotional response to a challenging event and is a normal part of everyone\u27s life. It has been linked to suppression of the immune system and could increase the risk of getting ill or alter the course of existing illness. Studies show that stress is associated with increased HBA1c, especially in females. Therefore the purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of stress with abnormal glucose value among the women community. A cross-sectional study was conducted among 168 residents of Mukim Sg. Pelek, Sepang, Selangor. Participants were selected through a simple random sampling and were asked to answer questionnaires provided. The Depression, Stress and Anxiety (DASS-21) scale was used to determine the prevalence of stress and random blood sugar (RBS) for measurement of the glucose level. Data was analyzed using Statistical Package Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20 and Chi-square analyses for determining the association between variables. The study found that 58.3% of the stressed women in the community have abnormal blood glucose level, which indicated that the risk of getting diabetes is slightly high. This finding has important implication for designing strategic plans for intervention program on awareness towards coping with stress positively
